Stanley Pest Control - Van Nuys

The job was for a tenant who has had no complaints about ants since the work.

It went fine. There was no additional cost. They try to talk you into a continuing plan, but then, we didn't continue with it. They were honest. I already had somebody out and I knew I had no termite damage. They didn't say they found any.

I had to call them again because the gentleman who came here left a few areas untreated. I called them about two weeks ago but after that, it has been okay. They were helpful. They were willing to come. They honored their 30-day guarantee and that was good. I had to call him because he ran late.

I explained there were fleas I was mainly concerned about. He sprayed both front and back yards and under my deck. He explained that the spraying would not completely eliminate the fleas and that I should have continued service on the property. The provider appeared to have done good work. He was polite and professional. The entire service took 30 minutes. Fleas continued to appear. Instead of the having additional service I sprayed myself with insecticide.

At first OK, but when I went to paint the drywall it became obvious that not all of the dry rot had been removed. This meant reopening the wall and finishing the job. When Stanley was made aware of the less than satisfactory work they did step up and finish the job at no cost to us.

The technician arrived a bit late but he was cordial. The only minor things I did not like are the things he moved to spray the areas was left without putting them back to where they where. Overall the service was okay.

The technician came out quickly and on time for the initial ant, flea and spider treatment (bought through Angie's List special offer). The technician went through the house and identified some problems areas that we knew about from a previous inspection. They gave a good, fair price estimate of the work that would need to be done and explained all of the chemicals that would be used and the process, including how long it would take. We scheduled the follow on treatment and the service provider came out at the scheduled time, performed the work in the time estimated and did not charge anything extra. All work was within the previous estimate. And no spiders came back!! Very satisfied with the service and would use them again.

We continued to have ants for a couple of days following the spraying, but that was explained as ants that are living in the walls or on the plants. We have now been unbothered by ants for 17 days. I am getting the bi-monthly service from them because I can't stand the ant invasions into my home. I am also going to have an agricultural spray on ficus vines and grow on the underside of the covered patio. I was very pleased with the service. The technician was on time, friendly and seemed to know what he was doing.

Eddie spent at most five or ten minutes at the house, with most of that time taken up with paperwork. I showed him an anthill on the side of the house where the ants lived, but he refused to spray it or shake "ant bait" on it, as it was twelve inches over my property line onto the neighbor's side of this imaginary property line. The ants didn't care about any property line, but Eddie sure did. Legal and liability reasons, he said. I asked if I could just borrow the shaker for five seconds while he turned his back. No way. He could get sued or lose his job. Very professional. A stickler for the rules. There were swarms of thousands little ant-like bugs crawling around the back of the house, but he said he had no idea what those bugs were. "Agricultural pests, probably". He didn't have anything to kill them, and he showed me that spaying them with his ant spray didn't phase them one bit. "We don't do agricultural pests". "Sorry, Can't help you there." That was the biggest waste of $90 I've made in a long time.

Punctual, on-time and professional service. The service provider explained the process and listened to all my concerns. Happy with the gentleman who performed the service, but I feel like the company misinformed me on the service I'm purchasing over the phone.

There was a problem getting hold of them because their phone system was down. After that however, they were very responsive and helpful.

They were prompt, professional and courteous. They provided the service I needed. Stanley Pest Control determined I had a termite infestation and they took care of it.

They were okay. I've gotten some Angie's List things, especially these home owner things. I almost feel like they're token. They come out and kind of do the job. They do it quickly. It's more about trying to sell future services rather than really do a good job in coming out for what the certificate is for. I would say that about Stanley and I would say that about the garage person that came out. That's what I'm starting to feel about Angie's List recommendations. My interaction with them was fine. Everybody was polite. The work they did was okay. It wasn't stellar. I didn't spend anything more than what was allocated in the certificate. There was no problem in getting the scheduling.

It was fine. They were very responsive, did came out three times to really take a wall up on those ants and I went to purchase a yearly agreement with them which I've been pulling off from doing. It was a standard deal because I had a cousin with the same deal. I know that they want to get their foot in the door and kind of explain to you how good their services are with their special deal. What I don't like about them is that they inspect the entire house which is a good thing for termites and they have another person who come out other than a person and they always discover wood rat and they give you a price for fixing wood rat. I know this is how they make money. He quoted me $1100 for that.

Boc always does an outstanding job. He calls me a few days prior so I can lock up my dogs and is always on time and early as requested.

Not only was the service above what I expected, but the technician returned the next day to remove any remaining nests/webs and to make sure the job was complete. Thanks and I would recommend Stanley to anyone who needs pest control.

I am very pleased with the redo of the service and the sincere attitude of the service man. He went to additional effort to spray near the retaining wall of my backyard as well as to redo near my house. I will definitely use this provider again!!

It went great. It was done professionally.

Job went well. He also took care of 5 to 5 black widow spiders.

We have been using their service for at least a year. We are very satisfied with them.

I have been using their services for two years. He is supposed to come the week of the 15th of every other month. He has called to see if he can come a week or two earlier but I have let him know that I prefer the week of the 15th. The spraying has helped a lot.

They came out quickly and killed the nest. They also do monthly sprayings for me. They are great. I have been using their services for over five years.

I am a very senior citizen and am just learning to hire workers to do what I used to do. Obviously, I had never hired a pest service, therefore, I had no idea what the job was about, I just wanted pest control and my termites to go away. I now feel that I am versed in the subject of pest control and Stanley is my mentor, if there is such a thing. Now I bow my head in observance of my ignorance, but proud of my knowledge. Stanley Pest Control has done a wonderful job of patience control on me, and I do appreciate it. I should have discussed it with the company before I leapt to conclusions.

It went well. Scheduling was pretty easy and they came right away. They sent one technician and he was here about an hour. He was professional and informative. I also liked the price.
