Description of Work: Server was prompt, didn't waste any time. Sprayed for ants and not one was seen the following morning. Suggestions for keeping the ants out of the house was well accepted.

Description of Work: I have had Stanley Pest Control work on my house for over 20 years. Wes is wonderful. He is always friendly and thorough. If I have a special problem (such as wasps) they are more then happy to take care of it. They are on time and let me know when they are coming to the house. I would highly recommend them. When the dogs are in the backyard they are friendly to them as well.

Ants disappeared for about 3 1/2 weeks and then came back inside; since the work was guaranteed for 30 days, the company came right back to respray and now the ants are gone again. The company stood by their job even though our Angie's list deal was well below their usual price, and the workman gave helpful hints to avoid the problem in the future.

The treatment seemed to do the job so we signed up for the bi monthly service. The technition (Mario) was very personable and explained the chemicals and how they worked and why it would not effect the dogs and cats that we have. I would definately recommend the service.

Description of Work: He sprayed the entire perimeter of the house. However, we had been having problems with some kind of black bugs inside the house and they still appeared. He returned a month later and redid the outside. No charge for this trip. The bug situation has subsided but he said it probably is caused by moisture.

Description of Work: Stanley Pest Control sprayed for insects around the perimeter of my house. They showed up on time, explained the services they were going to perform and did so in a prompt and friendly way. Separately, they performed a termite inspection. I was satisfied with their services and would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Initial inspection was done professionally. However, I called for further info to decide whether to to spot repairs or have my whole house tented. I was told that the appropriate person would call back within a few days, so I could make the best decision. I was never contacted. Unfortunately, this is consistent with complaints in several negative Yelp reviews.

Description of Work: They arrived on time, but did not make it clear to me that there would be two people, one to do the spraying and one to do a termite inspection. They arrived separately. Everything was fine, except when I signed off on the work, I noticed that spraying for fleas was not checked. I have several dogs and one of the reasons I bought the service was because it said they would spray for fleas, as well as other pests. When I questioned this, the guy said spraying for fleas costs more. This is the reason I can only give them a B. I feel they advertised falsley.

Description of Work: Stanley Pest Control of VanNuys came for service to set traps for rats and cover any holes on my roof and inside my home, which was quite a large job! I was told it would be taken care of in a two day process( because they didn't come prepared with all of the necessary tools,etc.) They did some initial work which was minimal and less than average at best. In the contract they we're suppose to come weekly (every Tues. between 9:00-11:00) that never happened. The serviceman showed up once with no phone call and then he showed up a few weeks later on a Wednesday with no phone call again. I called the gentleman who initially wrote the contract and came out to give me a quote and he was no longer with the company.When I finally spoke to a manager he was rude and refused to give me my money back. He told me if he gave me my money back how was he guaranteed I wouldn't complain on Angie's list anyway? Ultimately I spoke to the owner who apologized profusely and offered to finish the job for free, and give me a small portion of my money back. He came himself with his rude manger and did a small portion of the job again and promised my money back the next time they were to come. (Of course they didn't finish AGAIN)Well, unfortunately they never came back and I have had to spend upwards of a thousand dollars more to finish the job and needless to say I never received my check. So disappointing and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!
