Stanley Pest Control - Van Nuys

They were good. The price was pretty decent. The guy just gave me some information and told me what to do. They're great. He took about a half an hour to do the job. He told me that he could what I needed done for X amount of dollars, or I could do it and it would be free -- and that's what I did. The worker was very nice.

Monthly service was handled professionally as usual.

The are always there as schedule & perform the service they are required to do. They place a phone call the day before their arrival to remind us.

They are always prompt and responsive if I have any problems with gophers.

This is a normal scheduled servicing 4 times per year. It always goes well.

Everything was as expected. They are prompt & courteous.

Had to call about 5 weeks later as the ants in the kitchen did not go away. They were very responsive and did not charge for the follow up. We still have an occasional ant about every-other day.

Stanley has been servicing us for over 20 years. The tech always lets us know he is there if we are at home and if we are not, he does his work and leaves a notice that it has been completed. We pay every 2 months by auto pay using a credit card. It is effortless and we have never had a complaint. We highly recommend this service for people who need it. We believe it has been very effective in keeping most "critters" outdoors where they belong.

They gave me an estimate and then came out the next day. They were polite and nice and did a lot of work for me. I'm going to have them back every two months for additional services.

They never returned my calls or emails

I called and made an appointment with them for 11/7. When they'd not arrived, I called around 11:30, I was told that they had no record of us or our appointment.

The consultant (I think his name was Steve) from Stanley Pest Control came to my house on time and inspected the roof and surroundings for free. Steve found the most likely entry way and told me what the next steps would be. His estimate for the work was pretty priced very competitive, but he said I could do it myself if I'm not afraid of rats. This company is great, and they will get the job should I not be able to catch those critters.

Chad is a true professional and very good at his job I live on an ant hill so may have Stanley Pest Control back monthly.

they arrived on time and did the chemical portion of the control. they advised me to by the sealant from lowes or homedepot and spay it myself. this saved me $100.00 in additional charges.

John sprayed around outside of house and property and inside garage. He was very quick and efficient.

I'd like to preface this by saying that I have written 12 previous reviews for a variety of services, and gave all of them A ratings. I called on 7/13/16 to schedule an initial appointment with Stanley Pest Control. We were having issues with ants, and they said they could send someone out the next day. With the great reviews and $75 off coupon, I decided they were worth the wait. I mentioned the Angie’s List coupon over the phone, and the woman I spoke to said she would make a note in the computer. Ramon showed up the next day, on time, and gave us a price for the work--$95 for the initial visit and $60 a visit after that. We were happy with the quoted price and the promise that the ants would be gone by the next day. When I handed him the coupon, Ramon said that Stanley doesn’t take coupons from Angie’s List anymore. I let him know that I asked about the coupon over the phone and was told it would be fine and that the dispatcher would make a note in the computer. He then excused himself to call his company. After about 10 minutes he came back and said that they would do the initial visit for $85 dollars and that I should have told him about the coupon before he gave me prices. Since I had informed the company about the coupon 24-hours beforehand, I was baffled at this response. The prices he quoted were actually not terrible, even after they refused to honor the coupon, but out of principle I sent him on his way. It is unfair for the company to put Ramon in the awkward position of having to be dishonest for them. I would recommend using another company instead of wasting your time with the coupon they’re using as bait. Luring people in with false promises is a shady, unethical way to do business, and I hope others don’t have the same thing happen to them.

They did the service package back in 2014 and they informed me of estimates for future services. They were helpful with answering questions. I was very impressed with the technician, Alaum Garcia, that came out. He was very personable and did not try to hard sell me anything.

I think it was fine. I paid for them to come weekly to check traps but they only came out three times in the month. I guess I was supposed to call every week and request this? I'm still not sure. Service was fine.

Provider was friendly, proactive, and professional.

He did what he said he would do.

He was OK, but the services he preformed seemed very minimal because we did the Angies special. Felt like we were not as important of a client with our pest problem.
