I was aware of termite infestations in both my detached garage and under the house. I called Stanley Pest Control to arrange a professional inspection. The inspector, Brandon Ledford, was punctual, conducted himself professionally, and was generous with his time, answering my questions thoroughly. When I had additional questions, Mr. Ledford was always available to the phone, courteous, and helpful. The technician who performed the work was punctual, explained what he was going to do and how, and went about his task with professional demeanor. For administrative issues, Gretchen was helpful, courteous, and excellent on the phone.

We have a contract with them. They are on time and are really good. We used to have roaches everywhere, but it is totally under control now. They come in once a month to carry out the treatment. They are reasonably priced too. Stanley Pest Control is an excellent company, and we are very happy with them.

Went fine on first visit, recall in about 10 days for recurrence of problem....when recalled a secon time, no response from company...subsequently found a bill for $45 on my back door...when called, company said that I had signed up for monthly service, which I never knowingly did. Service manager was rude and insulting..I would never use them again...

Rats had got into the garage. Stanley Pest control sent out a worker who patched up a hole in the garage and set traps. The worker checked for any other openings, and said there were none. Several rats were trapped, and I was told that the problem appeared to be solved. However, not being satisfied that all openings were sealed, I called another company who found several other openings were rats could get under the house as well as in the garage. The other company also checked the crawl space under the house, and conducted a much more thorough inspection. They also found a tear in the mesh that covers a vent under the house, which left a hole large enough for a small squirrel to crawl through. I was not satisfied that Stanley Pest Control was thorough. When their representative was questioned about what appeared to be other openings, we were assured that those openings were too narrow for rodents. We didn't believe this, and neither did the company which we hired to take over the job later.

I called Stanley Pest Control and told them I needed my house (exterior) sprayed for spiders. They asked me if it was a one-time call, or if I wanted to sign up for their monthly service. I said one-time call (I only spray my house once a year - in the summer - for spiders, and that is usually enough). She quoted me $125, and told me I qualified for a 10% off coupon, because it was my first time using them. But when the service technician showed up, he recommended (and kept pushing) that I get the monthly service. I told him I didn't need it, but he kept pushing it. Finally, he said "If you're not going to sign up for our monthly service, I'm going to have to charge you more for this visit" - at $225 ($100 more than I was quoted). I was outraged at the waste of my time, false quoting and what I felt like was bait-and-switch service. I told him to forget it. I would NOT recommend Stanley Pest Control!

I couldn't even tell that they had arrived- no smells and nothing had been moved. They keep sending me a bill of $700. I will not pay this. I keep trying to call them, but they ignore my calls.

The following Monday morning, Stanley arrived 1/2 hour early which I was very happy about (it was supposed to be between 9:00-12:00). The two servicemen that arrived were very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They explained any questions I had regarding how they remedy the problem, what impact (if any) the poison they use could effect neighborhood pets (not a problem), etc. They suggested I go with the month-to-month service but I decided to see if the one time application would work and if so, good enough. There is a 30 day guarantee. It's been about two weeks and so far no new holes. I would hire them again.

They came over and he took care of it, he came back and sprayed twice to make sure that they would be gone and we had very good results. He had very reasonable prices, he was very friendly, he was very personable.

They came out and treated us on a monthly basis and also came out for emergency service when we found ants in the house. They were gone as quick as they came. When we received a package from out of state that came with a creepy looking spider in it, they consulted us on containing it and came out and picked it up and had it analyzed to determine if it was a poisonous brown recluse which luckily it turned out not to be. Very impressed and all at no additional charge!

Just about every homeowner I've known in southern California has had periodic problems with pests, be it ants, rats, bees, pantry pests, you name it. The house we bought some years ago came with some pest problems and one of our first acts was to hire Stanley to fix things. Since then I have continued to have them come by monthly for a quick check on things. They are prompt and reliable. Most often now there is no problem, but if there ever is, I feel sure Stanley will be there quickly to deal with it.

The serviceman they sent out was not dependable. They refused to give me a new serviceman, so I fired them. He was very unprofessional and not dependable.

I have used this company for several years for the monthly treatment sand also for special "one time" things like removing wasp hives. They completely resolved all pest infestations and the monthly treatment is great. The service technician is always reliable, knowledgeable, and does what he says he will. I recommend this company without reservation.

They tried to sell my husband on this notion that they have a process where they clean the attic. We thought it sounded unnecessary and that their estimate was overpriced. In the end, we did not use them to exterminate the rats because of the estimate.

They were efficient and courteous.....identified the spider by calling me back after the technician went back to the office. I haven't had any more "vermin visitors" and I would use Stanley's again in a minute!

See above, it didn't go at all. It was a waste of my resources and time.

Inspector arrived on time, did all of the investigating, was very professional. Active termites found under home. Written report said termite damage on eaves more extensive; but that damage is actually from water & gutter (so Ive been told by other contractors). Was quoted a tenting fee, as well as replacement fee for wood damage, which seemed reasonably priced. Felt like was trying to get more work out of me than justified for termites. Eaves do have water damage, but not extensive, and I dont feel its in the realm of termite control to fix. Had a 2nd opinion come in; apparently obvious termite evidence in attic not found by inspector, and none under home. Eaves noted with water damage, not termite. Termite accessed attic through rafter, which I was advised was adequately treated/patched and didnt need replacement. Waiting on written report from 2nd contractor, but dont expect a recommendation of as much physical repair as from this one.

A timid technician arrived late only to explain he was only there for an estimation visit and wouldnt/couldnt do any work today, especially removal. He also said that due to the nature of the house, no guarantee of reinfestation could be given. Nor could he give any guarantee of finding/removing the dead ones Update: 1/25/2012 Just saw the "Provider Response": THE MEMBER BECAME UPSET AND THE TECH. LEFT THE PROPERTY. MANAGEMENT BECAME AWARE OF THE SITUATION AND PROCEEDED TO CONTACT THE MEMBER. TWO MESSAGES WERE LEFT AND THE BRANCH MANAGER DROVE BY THE RESIDENCE TO TRY TO RESOLVE HIS COMPLAINT. AT THIS POINT THE MEMBER HAS NOT RETURNED ANY PHONE CALLS. This simply isn't true. No phone calls, no visit. I stick by my version. Used "Already A Better Choice" and they COMPLETELY sealed my house, so in fact, my house wasn't all that difficult to service.

Called them and they went out and took care of the problem. Job well done.
