This started as a $39 Angie's special coupon, for a garage door tuneup, and wound up costing me $164, including additional service. The workman showed up on time and explained what he would be doing. He did the basic maintenance and then pointed out that the door spring needed to be tightened and showed me clear evidence. The cost of the additional work was priced at $125, which I thought was high for the time and effort. The work appears to have been done OK, as the door operates more smoothly and with less noise than before.

I purchased the Big Deal Garage Door Tune up from Angie's List. I called Signature on a Monday and they were able to schedule an appointment for me on that same week's Friday. They gave me a 10am-11am timeframe and called me in the morning at about 930am to confirm. They showed up promptly, very professional. The Big Deal included a tune-up and a safety check and my garage door hasn't been opening fully lately so I was kind of expecting a hard sales pitch for services that would end up costing quite a bit of additional money. The two gentlemen that showed up completed the service check and told me my garage door was an older model but appeared to be working just fine. They did offer to fix the opening problem and tighten the coils for an additional $95 but that it was completely up to me on whether or not to do it. I opted not to have it fixed right now, but didn't feel any pressure whatsoever. Overall it was a good experience and my garage door is working great!

Installers were excellent. Estimator was a little iffy especially when he showed up in a dented, worn out looking work truck. Insulated door was twice was other doors were being advertised for but they did work with me on price to some extent -- using cash instead of cards or checks.. They did attempt to fix the existing door but were unable to brace it properly to work. They therefore had to return a week later with the door due to the holidays in between. Overall door has worked great and they even slaved both remores I had to the new door altough they didn't replace the opening mechanism.

I moved into a new house but the garage door opener looked like it was from the 60's. it worked but made a horrible noise. These guys came in, told me what I was dealing with, showed me the door was in good shape, lubricated the springs and track,and quoted me on a new opener. The opener was quiet as a mouse. Great service!

I called Signature Garage Doors on a Sunday because my garage door kept getting stuck while going down. They called back first thing Monday morning and came out to provide same day service. Joseph did a great job. He told me that the springs were about 10 years old and looking rusty. He said that I should think about replacing them in a year or so and put no pressure on me to do the job right then. I opted to have the springs replaced anyway, since my garage doesn't have a second entrance (if the springs fail, I'm simply locked out!). Joseph fixed it on the spot. That night when I came home from work, the garage door would not open. I immediately called Joseph, who gave me his cell phone number earlier in the day in case there were any problems. I explained that I was locked out and that nothing in the garage - not even the light - was working. Joseph came out the next morning to fix the problem. I suspect that he flipped the circuit while replacing the springs and forgot to flip it back on. However, he claimed that he had no problem getting in and that everything worked fine for him. Regardless, I would use Signature Garage Doors again because of their honesty, professionalism and availability. My garage door is working great now - it doesn't even squeak!

I responded to an offer for a tune-up on my garage door. The door opened fine, but was difficult to close. I got a call back the same day as my request and within a few hours the serviceman arrived. Very prompt, which pleased me. The door worked fine while the serviceman was there, but went back to the old problems as soon as he left. We replaced the garage door opener shortly thereafter, and everything has worked perfectly since then. So, not really the service's fault. He was prompt, professional and very friendly.

I took advantage of the $89 Angie's List offer for tune-up and roller change. He inspected and told us the springs needed to be replaced. He did so and performed the tune-up as well, adjusting the door opener to the new springs. Overall, good job.

One side of my front drive way entry needs to be replaced. The Iron Gate needs to be removed and reinstall with new concrete pilaster. I received 5 estimates and Signature Garage Doors Inc has the best price. My gate was located in public right of way, therefore it needs to be inspected by Public Works inspector. The owner Gabriel works with me on scheduling the gate welder to meet with the inspector. Everything works out perfect.

Gabriel, the owner of the firm showed up a few minutes early and went immediately to work. He asked if I would like to watch has did an evaluation of how my garage door was working and what he would do in terms of a tuneup. Right off left me say that I got a huge bargain for $39.00, his company is on the Westside so it probably coat him almost that much just to drive over to La Canada. First he opened and closed the door a couple of times and then pointed out a couple of problems with the cables that control the door closing and opening.With a few adjustments on the lift motor he solved that problem and showed me how to do it myself if and when that problem occurs again in the future. Then he did a full lubrication of the track and the hinges and when he was finished he had quieted the door operation by at least 50-60%. Great guy, great service and my garage door has had it's checkup and is in great shape.

Gabriel came to my house to provide a service/maintenance on my garage door---adjustment, lube, etc... He was very straight forward and prompt when we communicated on email about what would be involved, and he did what he said he would do, as agreed, on time, efficiently, and with a smile, which was refreshing. I would definitely recommend him, and will use him in the future if I have garage door issues/needs.

Joseph showed up as scheduled and did a GREAT job. He replaced the four springs and got the door working the best ever. I would highly recommend this company. Joseph is a great man and a great technician.

I called in for the Angie's List Big Deal tuneup offer. This was after several phone quotes from others to get my garage door fixed. This door and opener were old and failing intermittently. I was able to schedule a same day visit for the tune-up. The door was stuck actually when Mr. Gabriel showed up. He worked at it and the door opened. Upon evaluation I took his reasonable offer to replace the door and motor. The job was scheduled for the following day and the crew showed up in time. Looking good. Thank you Mr. Gabriel.

Signature garage doors came the day I bought the deal of the day. He lubricated the moving arms of my old door and straightened out the bowing of the door all for 39.00. Of course he recommended that soon I might need a new opener, but as long as this is working I'll keep it.
