They did a really good job. I checked with other places and price wise they were about the same. He was there early.

Nick arrived within 15 minutes and he was very nice and professional. He was able to open the garage and then cut 2 keys for me on site. He even offered to help reprogram my wireless keypad for my garage door. I highly recommend this company.

They showed up fairly close to the window of time designated over the phone and finished the job in about 45 minutes.

Nick provided a quote promptly, scheduled the service around my availability, and every one of his locksmiths have been clean, friendly, articulate, and knowledgeable. The work is done carefully and we have been completely satisfied. They're at the top of our HOA's vendor list for this kind of work.

Job was good over all, but no written estimate was given before starting and one lock was left in unsecure condition. Technician charged for work on four locks, but worked on just three; might have been fair price, but no sure way of knowing (to be fair, I did not ask reason; in hurry and other things on mind). The technician was friendly and except for some loose screws I found later and secured, the job was well done. Locks and keys work well. I would probably use the company again, but will not be in the area much longer

Technician arrived right on time and after doing a walk through of the proposed project, he got right to it. Our tech was extremely friendly, clean and efficient and I would recommend Secure LA Lock and Safe to any homeowner or business that needs the services of a locksmith.

Nick came by a day or so after I called him. I wanted locks installed on all my windows. When I explained my security concerns, he recommended and provided information about Multilock deadbolts, and then he installed them. This was a big job, so it took a few visits. Throughout the process, he communicated effectively and professionally. He sent me information about several types of locks so I could choose which ones I wanted for different types of windows. He painted several of the locks to match my woodwork. He painstakingly drilled about a million holes in my wonky, 95-year-old window sashes so the windows would lock both when shut and when open several inches (he made sure he couldn't fit through the openings). He came by to finish the job at about 7 am on a Saturday so that my house would be secure when I went out of town that morning. He found solutions and didn't complain about problems. Great experience!

Went well however when I was quoted the price over the phone they neglected to tell me there was a service charge.

We called and a rep arrived within an hour with all the necessities on his truck. Locks replaced and keys made in one hour. Great experience.

Arrived on time to re-key all the locks in a a new home. I did not have the key for several off the locks, but they were able to pick them effectively so as to be able to re-key all the locks. Professional and courteous service.

Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The work was done well. The keys made all work perfectly. The locks work well. They did come quickly and seemed to fit me in during a busy week. However, I did have some communication problems with the locksmith. To be fair, I did change my mind once I had the locksmith on site, and saw some challenges with what I wanted (using the same key for an external gate and an internal door), but I would have liked more options and information from the locksmith. Also, the gate lock was changed in style from what I had before, which was not originally what I wanted, although it works fine. Again, in the end, it works, but I would have liked to know that before the installation.

I phoned Nick a day prior and asked if he could come at a specific time the next day. He told me he had a couple jobs in a different area but that he would do his best. He asked for more info, which I provided. He did some research, showed up during the requested time period and got the safe open within a few minutes. He was very efficient, and I really appreciate that he worked with my tight schedule.

Everything went as advertised from the initial phone call to the lock smith's work at the house.

I needed to update my locks to pass inspection when I was selling my house. My call to Secure Lock was answered promptly and they came out punctually the next morning. Steve was very friendly and accommodating and did all the work as requested and also several small additional adjustments to some latches. It was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend the company. The price was very reasonable.

Nick was responsive, answered questions via email and was willing to do an 8AM appointment to accommodate my schedule. He also managed to key two gate locks that were missing keys. Responsible and efficient service!

Great. Secure was able to come out the same day I called. Their Tech 'Steve' arrived on time, sized up the situation and got to work. Although some unanticipaed parts had to be replaced, Steve was able to get the job done correctly & completely.

I recently purchased a new home, and wanted to get the locks changed. I got a follow-up call from the company office on the day of the appointment telling me more specifically when the technician would be showing up, which was helpful. Once he arrived, he was very professional, going the extra mile to make sure all my locks were in good working order (some of them had apparently been in disuse for many years, and I did not have all the keys from the previous owner). The front door had something called a mortise lock, which was not working. He tried to take it apart to fix it, but it wouldn't come out of the door. Nevertheless, I appreciated the effort, since it was not something I had originally asked for. He offered me a good discount on the work, but when it turned out not to be possible, he did not charge for the attempt. With the exception of that one, all my locks are in good shape now. Overall, a very professional job at a reasonable price.

Our outer gate had an old handle that had probably been stepped on and was totally destroyed. I found LA Lock & Safe though Angie's list and within 2 hrs of my call they had a worker there who was kind, honest, and professional. I spoke to the owner over the telephone and he asked if instead of just fixing the damage if I wanted to replace the handle completely with a stronger option that had a clutch, so if anyone tried stepping on it again, they wouldn't be able to, and it wouldn't break. After considering the price to fix vs buy a new one and have it installed while they are there, I went with the new one. The service itself was under $75, it was the cost of the handle that pushed it up to $200. The guys worked with me on the price and were efficient with the installation. We're all very happy with the work and I'd certainly use them again. The owner even called later in that afternoon to make sure I was satisfied with the work, which I thoroughly appreciated; it made me feel like they care about their clients.

The response time was quick -- I called and they were they in 20 minutes. They were very friendly and professional. They fixed it in 5 minutes by spraying silicone spray into the lock. It turned out that my original solution of spraying WD-40 was actually causing the lock to dry out even more. I realize that it was a quick fix and that they had to charge me for the service call ($45), but I was surprised when they charged me $20 for "supplies" for the silicone spray. That seemed a little excessive.

I called and made an appointment for two days later. Nick and his associate arrived on time and completed all of the work in one day.

Representative was extremely professional and friendly during the initial contact. Scheduled a convenient time for me within 24 hours of my call. Arrived on time and performed excellent work with a smile. I will absolutely use them again.

They were here when they said they would be. The guy was very professional and he gave me some good options. He was better than other places I have used in the past prior to joining Angie's List.

Overall, the job went well. The only downside to the entire job was the up-sell. The worker that was sent to the home tried to sell me on a set of security locks with a marked up price of about $200 apiece. I was able to convince him to use a different brand at a much more affordable price point, but the up-sell was unnecessary and unprofessional. Offering a few more choices for hardware and locks would be a better way to instill a sense of trustworthiness and professionalism.
