Overall, a superb professional job!

It went great. I called them because they had an "A" rating on Angies and because they were close to my neighborhood. They came in less than two hours checked the water heater itself...the vent pipes...and we went up on the roof to judge the exhaust, so I felt like they checked every step of the system. Because it was thought that there might be a compromise somewhere in the venting, they are coming back to more thoroughly fix the problem. BTW. In full disclosure, I haven't been given the total yet, but I was so happy with the work so far I wanted to leave a review before I got distracted. I'll post an update at the end of the job hopefully

Very satisfactory. He was experienced, pleasant, very efficient. He did not leave any mess whatsoever. He also gave great explanations of the work and what he was going to do to remedy it.

Again, we will be using Rick for all future jobs based on this short experience with him.

The service man who arrived was great. He was very professional and kind. He took a bit of time to show me what the problem was (I suppose so that I didn't feel like we were being had). He was pretty quick too, the job took about 40 min but he was non - stop the whole way though.

I called the company and left a message to get an estimate - Rick called me back and left a message; I called him back and left another message - he called me in the AM and I explained the project - need sewer repair and repipe of a 2400 sq ft house - he said that they were really busy and he would get back to me - never heard from him again Will move on to another company that wants my business and will not recommend Campos Plumbing Provider called me back to explain the communication error - I did say the house was in escrow but was advised they were busy and would call me back - anyways at least they have not called - I will try them again Thanks,

I called in the morning. The dispatcher set a time period in which the plumber would come over. During the time period stated the dispatcher called to notify me the plumber was on his way. We looked at and talked about the work to be done when he arrived. He gave me an estimate that was reasonable. I told him to do the work. After a brief call to the dispatcher he started and completed the work. He left the job site clean and in the original condition.

They arrived on time and did a great job for a reasonable price.

We discovered a drain problem in our toilet over the weekend. Contacted RC Plumbing because we'd used them before. Plumbers arrived on time and worked all day to clear drains. Very patient and thorough, and about what we expected for the price.

He did a good job, we will call him again.

Carlos was very neat. He put coverings over his shoes and drop clothes on the floor. He was honest with us.

I called Campos because of their great Angie's List reviews. They sent somone right over even though it was the end of the day. They put a patch on the line that was leaking. They could have told me that they have to replace the pipe and cut holes into my bathroom wall to do so, but they didn't! I explained that I was going to have my bathroom redone in the next few months and so a cheap temporary fix was perfect. They charged $1 for the patch and I got a discount on the price of the service call because of Angie's List. It's only my first time using them, but I got the feeling that this is an honest business. I will definitely call them again.

He was prompt and got the job done. His price was competitive.

We had water dripping through a light fixture in the entryway. Since we had had water dripping through here before and it had been a roof problem, I called the roofer. $800 of roof repairs later, it was still leaking. In desperation, I joined Angie's List and found Rick Campos who is based fairly closeby and who had good local reviews. By now it was Friday afternoon after hours. Having first discussed the extra expense of coming after hours, a serviceman arrived promptly, and he was neat and courteous. He spent maybe 30 to forty minutes removing a piece of wallboard and examining the problem - then asked me if I agreed that he should tape the join where the water was coming down and schedule the major repair work for a regular workday (the least expensive course of action ). He returned Monday and found it was necessary to remove and replace a length of copper pipe and he showed me the minerals built up inside the old one. He cleaned up the mess, removed the old pipe and all was - and still is - well.

Rick was great for a couple of reasons. 1. He evaluated the situation better than others. This was a serious amount of work and the solution he provided was smarter and more thought out then the other bids I received. 2. His price was much less than the other bid I got. I have received bids for re-piping from house to sewer before. For some reason they always come in at about $9500. Rick did the work for $5500. I feel I got a good deal and good work.

It all went well and done professionally

I am totally dissatisfied. I chose them because they had straight “A” ratings. I would give them an extremely bad grade. I called them first thing in the morning, and they said they would get back to me. After a couple of hours, they still hadn’t called, so I had to call them back. They said they would send someone over within the next hour or two. The person came out and he spent five minutes looking at the leak from the tubing under the sink. There was a split in the hose. He said that he would have to drive to Santa Monica as the other parts shops around here were closed. I found that ridiculous, but I wanted that stuff so I agreed. He said he would return the next day. They called me the next day and said he would be here between eight and ten. He didn’t show up and I had to call them. He showed up around noon and he spent maybe ten minutes putting the hose in. I was at home, and I was working on a deadline, so I thanked him and told him that I appreciated the buy. After he left, there was still some leak down below. He left it in such a way that the water was barely running. It might have been another problem, but the water was barely running from the faucet. I called them back and told them, and they said that he would be back between eight and ten. He didn't turn up and I just decided to wait and see what would happen with them. At five, they left me a message saying that they were sorry, they had had a busy day and that he couldn't get here. They said that he would be here on Thursday first thing in the morning, then, he would have to drive out to Santa Monica again. I asked them if they expected me to pay again for him to drive to Santa Monica after leaving the faucet barely running, and they said yes! I told them that I was not going to wait around another day for him. I found the name of the plumber we had used before. I also found two places on Peco that had the parts for this Grohe fixture. There was no need for him to drive to Santa Monica, and they were ready to charge me to go there again. I spoke to the plumber I had used before and he said that there were places in the neighborhood where I could get these parts. Grohe is a German company, and there was even a European parts dealer on Peco. I don't even know if they went out to Santa Monica. The price they charged was totally unnecessary. I will never use them again in the future. I don't trust them.

Rick Campos plumbers arrived the morning after I called (yea! quick response) and removed my gas floor furnace. They even hauled the old thing away, saving me $$ and a trip to the dump.I've had 3 or 4 plumbers at the house for various reasons over the past year. From now on I will always call Rick Campos.

Had to have a toilet reinstalled because another contractor had put in a part backwards that was making it leak. Rick Campos was responsive and professional. They diagnosed the problem and were able to resolve it quickly and at a fair price. My only minor criticism is that they didn't caulk all the way around the base of the toilet to seal it up properly. There was a gap in the back. However, I caught the problem as they were getting ready to drive away, and got them to come back and fix it. In the end, I was happy with their work, and have called them back to fix subsequent problems around the house.

I was not here when they came. My husband was here and as far as I know they came promptly and fixed it. We are very happy with them. We will use them again. I rate them high overall.

Rick came out and gave me a very fair price on a toilet replacement in my bathroom at my business. His guys showed up early the next day performed the work with laser precision, and were done in under 2 hours. They charged me for the work and didn't add anything to the price. I found my new plumber, for sure!

Great experience from the initial phone conversation to the job finish. Showed up on time, courteous, knowledgeable, HONEST, and efficient. We thought the garbage disposal needed replacing and told the phone person to please bring a new one. The plumber found the problem within a couple of minutes- no replacement needed. In and out within 2 hours, and a $10 Angie's list discount! My first time using a vendor since I joined Angie's list, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you.

I called at 10:30 in the morning with an urgent request to fix the pipe which had burst in my basement, resulting in a flooded basement and no hot water. They estimated their time of arrival to be between 12 pm to 2 pm. A plumber arrived at 12 pm sharp. He diagnosed the problem and gave me options as to whether to repair the ancient water heater or have it replaced. He did not pressure me to go either way with my decision. I decided to have the water heater replaced, and within a couple of hours I had a new water heater installed in the basement. Three men were brought in to work on the job. They worked quickly and clean up after themselves.

These guys were great. The technician arrived on time and quickly finished the job. Unfortunately, I was exercising when he left so my husband let him out without finding out what, if anything, I needed to do. When I came to the kitchen a little later, the water was steaming and spraying. I gave it some time and tried it again. The problem continued so I called the company back. The woman on the line talked me through some steps, and we tried it several times throughout the day, but I was unable to remedy the problem. She had the technician come back later that day, WITH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, to fix the problem. It turns out that my husband had asked the technician to make it as hot as possible, which he did, and it unfortunately kept boiling over. Now maybe it's my husband's fault for making that request. Or maybe's it's the technician's for agreeing to do it without telling him the ramifications. But these guys were so nice about coming back. It was later in the day and I'm sure they were tired, but they had great attitudes and didn't charge me any extra money. You will not be sorry if you hire them.
