When I called I was not given any indication of what the price would be. Someone came out and cleared the line. He had to remove the old very small toilet to get the wipes that someone has been flushed in the toilet. He then put the toilet back. The entire process took 50 minutes and required no parts. I asked him what the charge was and he said he didn’t know and I would get a bill. Nearly a month later I got a bill for $270. I feel this is very excessive for a job that one person did without using any parts, and took less than an hour. This was a regular week day. When I called about this I was brushed off by a woman who Insisted that this was a reasonable rate. I don’t think it was. I think it was greatly excessive and very sneaky of this company to refuse to give the price either before or even right after it was done. They demanded a carte blanche on the price. I don’t think this is any kind of professional way of doing business. I will never use them again and I would recommend that nobody else does either.

On the first hot day of the season, we turned on our A/C and the fan came on but the compressor did not, so we were only getting warm air through the vents. We called several HVAC repair companies, but they either wouldn't return our call or called, set up an appointment but never showed up. Fortunately, a friend recommended RICK CAMPOS PLUMBING AND HEATING. I made one call to them -- they answered on the second ring, took my information and said a technician would call me back to schedule an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from the technician (Eduardo) within 20 minutes -- he came out the very next day. Eduardo also phoned when he was on his way, arrived on time and was very pleasant, professional and eager to help us get our A/C going. It took him a just few short minutes to determine that two wires had apparently been disconnected when our heater was repaired, he reconnected the wires and now everything is back in working order. The repair was covered as part of the minimum $95 service fee. Before we found RICK CAMPOS PLUMBING AND HEATING, we called the company that repaired our heater and asked if perhaps something had happened during their repair of the heater that would disable the A/C. The person who answered the phone didn’t know the answer and said he would look up our repair record and have someone call us back. We never received that call. I have now contacted that company and requested they reimburse us for what we had to pay to RICK CAMPOS to fix their mistake. If they do not comply, I will be doing a follow-up review of that company.

Called early morning and they were able to come to repairs within couple hours. Instead of replacing the water faucet at a higher price they just replaced the stems and then also replaced the garbage disposal. The quotes I got from other plumbers to do this simple work was very high but this company did it for a reasonable price and did the work in fast time frame. Very friendly and professional work. Will use them again.

Water was spewing out of the Air Gap all over the Kitchen Counter and new wood floor each time the Dishwasher was used. I contacted RICK CAMPOS PLUMBING & HEATING INC. in the morning and there was a representative plumber that repaired the problem in 20 minutes later that same day. They sent Anthony Crespin who was pleasant, worked diligently, quickly and was very professional. He identified the cause to be not only the Air Gap, but also the Discharge Hose from the Garbage Disposal that was kinked. By replacing the Air Gap and repairing the Discharge Hose, he rectified the problem quickly and competently and cleaned his work space when he was done.. I would highly recommend anyone using Rick Campos's service and, his plumber Anthony Crespin, in particular.

I found Rick Campos Plumbing off Angie's List and I was impressed with the good reviews. That means a lot to me. Plumber was a nice guy, friendly. He dismantled the toilet valve, but was having some challenges with it. It is an older toilet, but I made sure I had all new parts for him. He accidentally broke one of my parts. He then told me he needed to go back to the shop for a replacement part and that he would be back - this was on a Thursday. He did not return until Monday, 4 days later, leaving the toilet dismantled and unusable. I never got a call telling me he wasn't coming back. I had to call the office. The office said he would come the next day, Friday. I waited but no one came. Again, no call to me letting me know he wasn't coming. I asked them to reschedule for Saturday, and they said I would have to pay their emergency rate, and that it would be best to just wait until Monday. I was outraged that the office staff didn't take this that seriously. I asked to speak to the owner, and the receptionist said that he was on his way out and couldn't talk. I emailed the owner and I sent the owner a message through Angie's list asking him to call me. I never got a response. The plumber arrived Monday put the toilet back together. However, it was not done properly. Some gaskets were missing, the toilet leaked and he used a rod arm that should have been made of brass but instead was made of some material that started to deteriorate immediately. I called the office, spoke with the receptionist, told her about one of the issues, sent her a photo. At the time I didn't know about the missing gaskets. She told me I would get a call back, but I never did. So instead of wasting more time with them, I hired another plumber to undo their work and do it correctly. Now the toilet works well. I lost some of the new parts and having to pay two plumbers for one job, buy two sets of new parts made it more expensive, but I'm just happy to put this behind me.

The plumber arrived on time, fixed the problem, and then asked what else he could do to fill out the hour he had to charge. He went around the house checking our other sinks for leaks. Excellent work.

It went great. We now have a functioning heater.

The technician (I believe Eduardo) and his assistant showed up on time and got right into the job. They were great! They worked from 9AM-6PM and finished the job. I came home from work and the technician walked me through everything he did and why it was necessary. There were so many code violations from the contractor's work and we were lucky that the technician was so educated because we were really in jeopardy of not only a fire but gas leak.

Terrific business -- setting up appointment was quick, friendly and professional. Mauricio showed up exactly on time and was friendly, extremely competent and thoughtful in both fixing the problems and explaining what to look for in the future. He also spent a few minutes going over some possible solutions to a sink issue I will be having and explaining the costs and benefits of rebuilding versus buying a new part. I am so glad to have found a good plumber who I would always look forward to calling in the future when I need help. Highly recommended.

I specifically signed up for Angie's List yesterday when my husband called me from our rental unit to search for a plumber who could come after hours to fix a pipe issue. I chose to reach out to Rick Campos P,lumping because of the good reviews. I called and spoke to a man and he said they did 24 hour service for emergencies, so I told him my husband would call him right back since he was at the location and had more information to give. Later on, when my husband got home I asked if he liked the services and he told me his call was never returned. He said he spoke to a woman who took a message and said someone would call him right back. It's pretty annoying that our message never seemed to make it past that woman or if it did they didn't want the business enough to call us back. Bad experience with this plumber and bad first experience with Angie's List, but I guess this just happens sometimes.

It went perfect. They Came our right away and were very friendly and helpful. They didnt try to up sale anything.

We noticed a slow leak from our 10-year old water heater and needed to find a new one. We wanted to buy the same brand, and the heater's dimensions had to be small enough to fit the cramped space that housed it. After calling several plumbers, we found that Rick Campos Plumbing would be able to get us the brand and size water heater we were looking for. Their plumber, Roberto, arrived on the date scheduled and successfully installed the new water heater. He was very professional and also left the work area cleaned-up. Thus far, we are very satisfied with the water heater and Roberto's work.

I was the general contractor for a renovation in my apartment. Rick Campos and his crew were the best contractors I worked with throughout the experience. Rick came personally to provide the quote and suggested some changes that saved me at least $1000 from the start. We agreed to an hourly rate with a not to exceed. His team worked quickly and did a quality job. When the code officer noticed a few small changes he wanted, Rick and his team were over in hours to correct them. Overall, Rick and his team took pride in their work and a good rating on Angie's list was important to them. From my experience, you can count on them to do a quality job for a fair price and, importantly, when things go wrong, they care more about doing the job right than about making an extra buck.

Went reasonably well. Everything now works great. My only wish is that it hadn't been so expensive, but I suspect that the prices were comparable to other plumbers. Mauricio was very pleasant to deal with and worked hard to be as efficient and accommodating as possible.

Called during last Thursday's heat wave. They said they could not get anyone out until Tuesday. We scheduled 10-12. Got a call at 9 AM on Tuesday from Eduardo confirming he'd be here from 12-2. I told him that was not the time agreed, but since I had already taken the day from work to stay home, I agreed to the new time. Just before 1:30, I get a call from Eduardo saying he can't make it, could I do tomorrow? No, I can't. Entire day wasted. Moving on to someone else.

When I first called, the girl was very pleasant and said someone would return my call. An hour later another girl called and said she'd have someone return my call the following Monday. No call. On Tuesday I messaged them again and sent them photos. Weeks later, still no response. I ended up going with another Angie's List plumber. Aint nobody got time for that.

The plumber arrived early. His attitude is excellent. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Had proper equipment and parts He did the job quickly and cleanly. His back office has a great attitude. The entire experience was excellent.

Rick accomplished this work efficiently and carefully, also installing a section of piping that needed replacement. He is exceedingly pleasant and professional. I am delighted to have discovered him through Angie's List and will call him for all future plumbing needs, let alone recommending him to family and friends.

They replaced my water heater and did a great job. He had given me a consultation previously when another plumber had tried to rip me off. Great company and and great owner. Highly recommend!

This was my first time using their service. I felt they were average. He got on it right away in terms of getting me a quote and telling me what needed to be done. I did not compare estimates so I am not sure how reasonable the price was. The workers left trenches open in the backyard even though I had told them little kids lived at the house and everything needed to be closed up each night.

I used him a couple weeks ago and I paid $154 with him. I had a leak in the old toilet. The ring was leaking but I have a couple senior citizens who use the toilet so I bought a higher toilet and the guy came and installed it for me and was out in less than 2 hours. I have had no issues after he installed it.

My kitchen sink was overflowing from my neighbor's garbage disposal use. On Christmas Eve! I called, they picked up, and showed up even sooner than they told me they would. He fixed it! He said there was a clog 35-40 feet deep, he helped explain that my upstairs neighbor's plumbing was connected to mine, and told me that since I've only been living here a few months that I probably wasn't the person who caused it. He was responsive, punctual, and I was really appreciative that he came out at 10:30pm on Christmas Eve.

Rick came out and did the estimate himself, along with a plumber from his team. Rick was a nice guy and right on time for the appointment. He was super thorough in identifying all the elements of my renovation that would need to be addressed with his work and he provided creative solutions for a few of the challenges my renovation would have. While I ultimately chose another plumber due to cost, I would definitely use Rick in the future... it is obvious his company is a success and so well liked on Angie's list because of the quality service they provide.

They did a fantastic job. They were so friendly. They cleaned up so well. They made it just a pleasure to work with them. I will recommend them to others who need a plumber.
