Found a leak and affixed fixture to kitchen sink better. Ran new drain line for dish washer. We had a little scheduling conflict, but when they showed up they did a great job! Very fair rates and quality workmanship. I would definitely recommend their service!

I don't know who writes these A reviews, but I'm beginning to think it's relatives or employees posing as customers. I'm beginning to lose faith in the accuracy of all the A's. When the plumber didn't arrive by 2:30, I placed a call to the company to find out when I could expect service. At that time he was delayed on another job but would be there soon; they will call me when he's on his way. At 3:30 still no call so I called the office again, and the assistant says, "Oh he's not there yet?" To which I reply NO, do you only have 1 plumber???? The assistant THEN tells me, "oh, ALL OUR PLUMBERS are busy on other jobs, we're sending a subcontractor; a "rooter"." I don't know what that is, and obviously they don't know what the problem is so why would they send someone other than a plumber??? And, how did they not know yesterday that all the plumbers would be busy today? Why not be upfront about it. I told them to forget about coming at all, and proceeded to call another company who actually is interested in my business. Wasted my whole day.

Professional job! Arrived on time, fixed it fast, and charge a reasonable amount! I will definitely use them in the future.

We had gas leaking from pipes leading to our outdoor grill and indoor fireplace. The man from Rick Campos Plumbing came to assess the situation and arranged for a pair of his plumbers to come and test the pressure to determine where the problem was situated. Mauricio and his helper were very knowledgeable and clear about what they were doing and in describing what needed to be done. They performed the pressure tests. There was a concern that the leak might be in pipes within the bricks beneath the grill, but the testing showed that this was not the case. Mauricio and his helper returned again in a couple of days with the pipes and parts required for the repair. After they quickly made the repairs, they pressure-tested again to be sure that all the leakage was caught. Then they ignited the grill and the fireplace to be sure they were properly functioning. We are more than pleased with the skill, knowledge and care, of Mauricio and his helper in a job so excellently done.

I purchased a house built in 1946 that was in need of many repairs. I invited three plumbers to look and diagnosis problems and help me sort out what needed to be fixed now, and what could wait. From the moment Rick showed up for my estimate, I new he was the right guy. He spent over an hour with me on a Saturday as we went over all of my concerns. For most of them Rick told me there was no hurry to have the issues fixed immediately. We set a plan in motion for the immediate issues and went to work in stages. He and his team have now completed stage one and stage two and after both jobs I am completely satisfied. From his daughters in the office, to his men doing the job, to Rick himself, Rick Campos Plumbing and Heating is a quality high class plumbing outfit that will continue to earn my business.

I had an appointment and the job needed to be rescheduled as the plumber was stuck at another job. This was quite inconvenient for me. Given the great reviews online, I rescheduled. I was quite pleased that I did as the plumber was very professional and did an excellent job. I felt like I could trust them, which has often not been the case in the past for me with plumbers. They were punctual, but the fair score reflects that they had to reschedule the appointment.

Good. Tho I had to change my appt time. In which no one showed up at the 2nd time. I called and he came over. Not a huge deal.

Made appointment for next day although it was not an urgent job just small nuisance-type repairs. Mauricio arrived at the end of the appointment window but had called earlier to say he was running late from previous job. Mauricio was very professional and experienced and after showing him the work I had no hesitation in letting him proceed. (I am always concerned when contractors are working around tiled walls and counters.) His 20+ years of experience showed as he completed the work in about 2 hours as opposed to the initial estimated 4 hrs. He carried the right tools and parts on his truck. He also explained any problems he encountered and recommended improvements. As I always say, you can't beat experience and Mauricio has it. Highly recommend!!

They were fast and clean, and for eighteen months now we've no problems with it.

He was AMAZING. So helpful. He even checked in with me a few weeks later to make sure everything was working well. I'd definitely use him again.

I have 2 kitchen sinks. Each one had a 3/4 HP garbage disposal. One was no longer working and the other was no longer working well. I called Campos, they gave me a very fair estimate over the phone. 2 days later the technician arrived on time and very quickly, neatly and professionally replaced both units. He offered to look at the old ones to see if he could just fix them, which was nice because it would have been cheaper, but we decided just to replace both. Would definitely use this company in the future.

I set up a meeting at the property and arranged for the seller's agent to be there to let us in; however, Mr. Campos was stuck at a job in Hollywood and I received a call approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled time for cancellation. His assistant was helpful and had read the inspection report setting forth the plumbing problems and gave me a rough estimate as to some issues. They were unable to address the drip pain/drain issue without coming to the property so I asked Mr. Campos to come to the property after he was done in Hollywood -- which meant I had to bring the seller's agent back out later that afternoon to accomodate Mr. Campos. When Mr. Campos arrived, he was very non-chalant and kept stating that it "wasnt a big deal," although if it overflowed it would leak through our floor to the condo unit underneath. I expressed my concerns and had to push surprisingly hard to get any sort of proposed work to fix the issue, which surprised me because I would have thought that he would be interested in the work -- especially since he later estimated the project to cost $2500-$3000. These statements were made in front of the seller's agent, which factored into the seller's decision not to pay for any repairs. After meeting at the property, I asked Mr. Campos to provide me with an estimate. I had to call his office 4 times the following day before receiving a "guestimate" in the afternoon of the second day. Overall, I did not find Mr. Campos to be very responsive; however, I cannot speak to his work. I just wouldnt recommend him for a similar situation as mine.

Both the lady who take an appointment and the professional who came to our house are very friendly and very honest. The professional guy was punctual and very careful not to bring any dirt into the house. Even though they couldn't finish the job, I had a very happy and satisfying experience with them. I guess I should have informed them about our under the slab vent when I made an appointment with them.

I called Rick Campos Plumbing at 8ish on a Friday morning. The woman I spoke with was very nice and professional. I told her that there was a leak in a pipe behind the bathroom sink and asked if a plumber could come out that same afternoon at around 2:00 pm. She checked and said that it should be possible and that she would call me back to confirm. She did call back to let me know that a plumber would be sent out and be at my house at 2:00 pm...he was there right on time. Mauricio was very friendly and professional right from the start. From his years of experience, he had a good idea of what the problem was right away. Not only did I have a leaky pipe, but there was a blockage thet needed to be cleared. Mauricio got right to work. He was very open and east to talk to, letting me know exactly what he was doing. The pipe was not only leaky, but completly corroded. He cut and replaced the section of pipe and cleared the blockage. He had all of the tools and replacement parts he needed with him on his truck which meant he didn't have to leave and come back. The work was done quickly, just over an hour. Mauricio showed me one of the blocked sections of pipe he replaced, and it was really badly clogged. When all of the work was done, I was happily surprised at how reasonable the charge was. The total bill was 188.00. With my Rick Campos/Angie's List 10.00 off coupon I had printed out, the total came to 178.00. The whole experience couldn''t have been any better. Rick Campos Plumbing will now be my contact for any future plumbing needs.

Called them because of Angies List...They had the part to fix it on the truck and did so...Was very satisfied at the service

The quoted price was $4,500. I called them and they gave me a very reasonable quote. They were very professional but I didn't end up using them. I ended up with a vendor that I had a better relationship with. They were my next choice. Their quote was thorough. It seemed like they knew what they were doing. They came back on time. They got the quote back in a timely manner. They answered all my questions. They very knowledgeable.

On the mid-afternoon of Chrismas eve I got a call from my tenants that sewage was spilling out in the back yard of my duplex. Out of deference I called the plumber that had dealt with this issue before and has performed well for me in the past, but I got there service. I left a message, but after I hadn't heard form them for 15 minutes or so, I was starting to get concerned (since it was Chrismas eve and I was leaving town the next morning). Rick Campos had recently done an excellent job for me concerning my water heater, so I called them. Rick answered the phone. After explaining the situation he said he would get right on it and would call me back in a few minutes with timing. A few minutes later he called back and said he would have someone out within two hours. I met the service man at the duplex a little while later, and he did an excellent job. The clog was due to baby wipes and paper towels. He explained to me the problems of this kinda stuff (in spite of the packaging saying they are flushable), and better yet, as my tenants stopped by to see the progress, he shook his head up and down when I explained to the tenants that every plumber will tell you this stuff is bad news for the plumbing, and they should be disposed of in the trash. I think they got the point. Anyway, I love this company. they are super customer oriented and have good pricing. I have recommended them to my friends that need a plumber.

We are a family of four and had been sharing one shower when the second bathroom shower faucet broke several months ago. Of course, I delayed in getting it fixed after I had an original estimate that said we would have to cut into the wall in the entryway to our house and cut through the ceramic tile in the shower to replace the entire shower fixture. So we lived with one shower. Months later, we had an unexpected house guest arrive, and I needed to have the shower repaired that same day. I called Maria at Rick Campos and told her my sob story. She told me she would try her best to find a plumber to send to our home that day. She called back within the hour and told me that a plumber would arrive within half an hour. Carlos arrived and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was a simple repair and he had the parts with him. Voila! The shower was functioning in less than an hour. Carlos was courteous and practical in assessing the problem and getting the job done. I now consider Rick Campos Plumbing and Heating my go-to plumber. I'll call them for any plumbing repairs or improvements that come up. Thank you for doing honest and efficient work.

I called on Christmas Eve, not expecting to get service but just to be first in line for the next regular working day. I was fully expecting to be washing dishes by hand for a few days. But miracle of miracles! They came, they diagnosed and they fixed! No sink full of dirty dishes for me!

First of all they were very accommodating in scheduling an appointment for me for the very next day. Their plumber showed up on time and was VERY professional. Since this was a german faucet in a german sink there were complications with the installation b/c of the difference in european measurements and ours in the US. Consequently the plumber had to be very inventive and skilled to make it work out. It was very apparent that this plumber really enjoyed the challenge and wouldn't give up until he got it right. They are 5 stars in my book; as a matter of fact I have scheduled additional work with them b/c they are so terrific. Two thumbs up, I recommend them whole heartedly!!

We called Rick Campos when our water heater sprouted a leak. The technician came same day we called and fixed it no problem. We thought the cost was reasonable. We had mentioned another problem when making our first service call - we had a bathroom faucet with a slow leak. The technician also looked at the bathroom faucet and told us it needed new washers. He said that he would buy the washers at a hardware store and call to schedule the follow-up repair.... and we believed him. Well about 2 1/2 weeks went by and we never got that call. We finally called and asked about the faucet and was told "I will talk to the technician and call you back" - of course, no one called back. We called again two days later and spoke with Jennifer Campos who was very apologetic and said that they would discount the price of the next service, that washers were not available and we'd need to buy a new fixture. So fine. I bought a new fixture, they replaced it, the repair was smooth. When the technician was here fixing the faucet, he mentioned that they fixed heating units too (we have a forced air heating/A-C with some damage to a few of the vents from a past under the home plumbing repair (different company). So we thought about it and decided to call Rick Campos Plumbing & Heating, Inc. to repair it. The person who answered took our number and said, "we'll call you back" - that never happened. We waiting 3 days and called again, they said they were sorry but were not able to reach their technician and that they would "call us back" (again that never happened) so we called again a few days later and the man who answered was again very apologetic and told us he would find out what was happening and call us right back and... (I am sure you can guess what happened). They never called. So, not being one for quitting, we called 3 days later again and were told that they still hadn't reached their technician, that they were sorry, but that we were mislead by their other technician as their service is the installation of new systems and not the repair of existing systems... Honestly, if you add the collective time we waited for anyone at Rick Campos Plumbing & (new systems installation) Heating, Inc. to call us back on any one of our service calls it would add up to a month. My feelings about Rick Campos are mixed... We have a thing in my office called the "sunset rule" which means that if someone is waiting to hear from you, even if you don't have the answer, you still contact them by close of business and let them know it is being worked on... Is that so hard? To call back when you say, "I'll call you right back?" Although we are absolutely happy with the repairs they did do - we are hestitant to recommend using them to anyone else - at least anyone who might need a return phone call....

So far so good. The gas company red tagged my tenant's heater due to what they said was a faulty floor heater and a leaking gas pipe under the building. Rick's guys Roberto and Jesus were able to come out within a day or two and fix it. Spent the good part of the day replacing the line and servicing the heater. These guys were courteous and professional and I'd hire them again.

Couldn't be more pleased. Office called to let me know the two plumbers were on their way. Guys worked all day, took a lunch break, returned and worked more. Cleaned up before leaving. Returned as scheduled to complete the job the next morning. They also suggested I call the office for a referral for someone to patch the plasterwork. I was happy with that work, as well. This was the second time I used Rick Campos Plumbing. The first was to change out a kitchen faucet. Job was done quickly and professionally, so I trusted them with the laundry room remodel.

When I first tried to describe the services I wanted performed, I mentioned the installation of a new toilet. The woman on the phone would not let me talk about the other services I wanted, she just told me that she would have to call me back in about 20 minutes. I tried to indicate that I wanted more than just a toilet installed, but she wouldn't let me talk--instead she talked over me and asked for my number. I gave her my phone number and waited around for an hour. I was never called back. It's been over 24 hours now, and I have not received a call-back. I have decided to give my business to some other company.
