Yosef is great! Initial quote process was easy, seems like he understood exactly what I wanted to do in backyard. Once work was started, his crew was really nice, very professional, kept the area as clean as possible. Also, they fixed small issues here and there, that were not originally part of the quote, which is good, as it showed that they care about quality of their work. Yosef also helped a lot with picking proper plants for backyard and helped with overall design of backyard. They did really great job! Yosef usually would stop by in the morning, make sure everything is good and direct his crew, and would leave for the day. Seems like his crew know what they are doing and do not require much supervision. It was pleasure working with him. And when I would need some other work done (maybe front yard eventually), I would definitelycontact him again.

Our experience with Rain Forest LA was very positive and we would definitely recommend them to our neighbor and friends! Yosi and his team, including lead Alberto, were wonderful to work with! Yosi was timely and responsive in meeting with us, providing estimates, and offering solutions to unexpected issues. He was on-site every morning, making sure things were on schedule. The team's attention to detail was admirable! No short cuts, or "good enough's" for them! They were thoughtful in the way that they laid the drainage pipes, leveled the area, poured the concrete, planted the plants, and placed the lighting. I was astounded at the transformation of my back outside area. What had previously been an eyesore and embarrassment is now where I want to spend all of my time. It appears that this will be very low maintenance which is a good thing since I am not gifted with a green thumb (or even little finger!). The workers arrived on time, worked continuously and were respectful of my home and neighbors. Although initially the quote seemed a little expensive, none of the other contractors I spoke to would even give me a quote and simply told me either they couldn't do or it would cost too much. Yosi gave me a firm quote two days after he first visited the site and he didn't deviate from the quote at all. Not only we will be able to enjoy this the outside of home now, I know that the improvements have increased the value of home by at least twice the cost. I would use Yosi and his team again and again! Thanks so much!

He came out and he did what he was supposed to do. He knew what he was talking about, but quoted me a higher figure for repairs and re-installation on our rental property.

My problem was with my sprinklers. He took a look at them and declined to touch them because they were galvanized and he said he only did plastic. End of job. He left and I'm out of $60 for his showing up. Bad deal.

It went great! We put the bid out to a number of contractors. Given that the job involved many elements, about half of the contractors failed to respond with a bid. Although Yosi's bid wasn't the least expensive, he is a very accomplished contractor and knows his stuff! The old adage, "you get what you pay for" came into play as my wife and I believed in Yosi. Yosi's crew was unbelievable and their workmanship, particularly with our Kayu fence, was spectacular! Yosi was always very responsive and make sure everything was executed at an exceptional level. We would certainly use him again on another landscape project.

I have met with him and we have plans to have him do the work by the end of July. So far he has been very good to deal with.

Yosef was professional and courteous. On the day of the appointment he called ahead and said he could come earlier than scheduled (always a good sign) and he showed up a short while later. He asked about any problem areas before he began. I pointed out some sprinklers that were damaged and he adjusted or replaced the necessary components. He then tested each zone for problems and coverage. After he finished that, he reset my timer to become compliant with the newly enacted city watering restrictions. He showed me how to program the timer myself and carefully explained how it all worked. It took him less than 30 thirty minutes to complete his work. He was a pleasure to deal with and I will use him in the future. Highly recommended.

Yosi is very knowledgeable, and it looks like he has been doing this for a long time. I had some crazy ideas that he was able to interpret easily and make sure it will work in actuality. His crew is very good, and clean. Overall the job was done faster than expected, and looks even better than what I imagined. I already recommended him to our neighbors, who are planning to do something similar. THANKS YOSI!!!

It went well. Easy to communicate, gave us some good ideas, the workers were professional, cleaned up very well after themselves and the job was done perfect. I have a few more projects and as soon as my budget allows, I will use rainforest again.

Yosi was very good at interpreting my vague ideas and suppling the missing technical requirements. Also suggested aesthetic improvements to the plans. Coordinated with the spa technical support so that the space where the spa was placed was sized perfectly. They began work as soon as I placed the order for the spa, so there was some unavoidable delay while we waited for delivery. The workers did an excellent job. When I spa technician came to instruct me on maintenance, he commented on the quality of the workmanship (his opinion is undoubtedly worth more than mine). My yard has been transformed from a total disaster to a pleasant place to socialize and exercise. Yosi was very reassuring throughout the process since I was quite nervous about taking on a project of this size. He was friendly, professional and easy to work with.

He contacted me but I am not able to get the work done right now so I decided to cancel it.

I met the owner and we told them what we wanted. They started very early in the morning. Scheduling was just fine and they were clean. We were not too impressed with the service. The plants seem very sparse. They were suppose to come back and there was some miss communication. I felt I paid a lot for what they did and they were not here the full 24 hours.

I advised him of the project in mind and was told it would be a small job. Yosi stated his workers were booked for all of March and that I was looking at a late April work date. I agreed and was told he'd be in contact. The following Thursday Yosi left a voice mail on my home phone informing me of a last opening on Friday, however since I utilize my cell phone for business I never got the message. Once received I contacted Yosi to thank him for keeping me in mind. On April 7th, I emailed Yosi to ask whether a date had been selected for my Angie's list $799.00 for 24 hrs. of landscaping deal. His response was that it was a first come first serve situation and that I was now looking at a mid May schedule date. I was shocked. Wasn't the purpose of the March 19th visit to place me on the first come first serve list? Additionally, another Angie's list deal from Rain Forest had been posted on March 25th advertising a similar deal. So why would a company advertise for more business when the Angie's List customers currently waiting for service were backlogged? Very disappointing.

It was fine. The owner that we met was not very pleasant to deal with. He needs to improve his customer service and be more personable with his customers.

Dealing with Yosi and his company, Rain Forest LA has been a pleasure. The work was done in a timely and professional manner with quality materials and at the agreed upon price. We are very pleased with the result. We had many people come and give us quotes and Yosi was the only one who took the time to do a thorough job measuring and making suggestions. At one point one of our sprinklers was leaking and Yosi saw to it that the sprinkler was fixed very quickly. It is nice to know there are still companies out there that stand behind their work.

They did a very nice job, and it gets lots of compliments on the results. They turned a wasted hillside into a thriving vegetable garden.

The job went incredibly smoothly and Yosef and Lanscape LA did an amazing job. Yosef came out for an initial meeting where we talked about a landscape redesign for the back yard. He was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. Once we settled on a general design, he met us at a nursery to pick out all the plants. He and his crew did the job over the course of just three days, they were all very freindly, on time, and hard working, and everything turned out great. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I had a "preexisting" condition dealing with bad contractors, but Yosi turned around my opinion about it - very professional, punctual, reliable, responsible, always had an answer to all the questions. Easy to reach by phone or email. Very accommodating to my busy schedule. My second project with him was building a BBQ island - came out great! Very happy with his work and already recommended him to my friend. Thank you, Yosi!

It took several attempts to get Yosi Rozen to stop by and look at the job site, which then took less than 15mins. No measurements were taken, no plans drawn then received a materials only estimate (without any detail). One of the main reasons I took the "Big Deal" was it included a Project Management Consultation which was to include; not only a site visit but discussion, planning and measurements. Not even a photo was taken or a plant/shrub suggested. The vendor told me I could go to the nursery and pick out what I wanted but he would not guarantee the work. If I wanted to to that why would I have engaged his services? The nurseries provide this service for FREE and guarantee the plants even if you plant them! Additionally, the vendor could not deliver services during the time frame that I had available.

We spoke via email. They told me they don’t service my area. They seemed polite over email.

Yosi, the owner of Rain Forest LA met with us at our house to discuss and plan our new back yard. we had several ideas that Yosi helped shape, and after he put a final estimate together, we molded the plans a bit more together to come up with a grand plan. a few days later, Yosi's team came to our yard and got to work. they were all friendly and hard working - it was a very good experience with them. we monitored their work thoughout the week, and advised and discussed how the work was progressing throughout. Yosi himself checked in consistently to manage the operation, as his team brought our yard to life. after one week (and an extra half-saturday added on to finish), our backyard had been transformed. overall, it was a really great experience. we are planning to have Yosi and his crew back in a couple months to add in the yard lighting. can't recommend Yosi & Rain Forest enough.

They were very fast and they landscaping looks very nice. We are happy with the work I just would have preferred a more detailed invoice so I could see how the discount from Angie's list affected the final price.

I bought this deal. Yossi came out to look at my landscape. He sent me a proposal which entailed another $1700 or so, $200 of which was for removing debris from the home. I didn't expect the latter, or the cost of the plants in order to complete the job.
