Description of Work: I purchased the "Big Deal" from Rainforest to provide a plan for landscaping. I was expecting an architectural type plan of the yard and plantings proposed. What I received was a picture of my front & side yard with plants photo shopped into the picture. I was very disappointed at the lack of professionalism.

Description of Work: The drawings were fine. This bid was more than I could afford. I didn't really give him a dollar amount, just asked for reasonable cost. I would have liked the cost of the front and back yards to be broken down. I also would have liked to know what the plants are that were being included in the bid. I never received a follow up call from the company to check if I got what I wanted or if I needed more information.

Description of Work: No one ever contacted me regarding the landscape design project...can I receive a refund for this?

Description of Work: The landscape designer came & walked our property & then sent several suggestions for landscaping. Of course, to implement the ideas goes into another whole area of investment. In retrospect, I think most landscapers would probaboy come and give this bid for free.

Description of Work: The person who came out was timely and informational however, once I received the image of the companies suggested landscape design, I was terrible disappointed. The results were not what I expected. The product that they produced for $49.00 could have been done by my 13 year old niece. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: He came in the morning, said he'd be back in a few weeks. Then that evening sent cut and pasted pictures of how it would work, never asked me what I wanted. Also, he had put plants in the parkway, and according to the rebate you can't do that. I think he's incompetent.

Description of Work: I had to contact the company, after waiting for weeks after purchasing the package. They finally came almost three weeks later. The so-called "landscaping plans" consisted of amateurish photo-shopped pictures of our landscape--but half of the pictures were of some other properties that had nothing to do with our needs. This appears to be a cookie-cutter operation, not what we were expecting.

Description of Work: Spent 10 minutes at house and took pictures. Then later received quote and 4 house pictures with unidentifiable plants in email. No plant names and no plans. An offer to go shopping for plants was made, but I am not ready since I was really looking for an overall plan to execute over time.

Description of Work: Came to property and discussed options. Measured the area to be worked on and followed up with some pics and ideas. This is a hill side that needs complete redo including all the walls and fences, walkways, lighting, irrigation, purchasing and planting.

Description of Work: Gave estimate. He wouldn't itemize the service, just a lump sum i asked him 3 times to break it out. He never replied.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $549 for 16 Hours of Landscaping, Hardscaping, and More. That turned out fine. They built stairs and railings for me.

Description of Work: I have a beautiful garden into which I have put a great deal of time and effort. I needed my automatic sprinklers adjusted and checked. I hired Rain Forest because my lawn cutter speaks very little English and I wanted to be sure there would not be any confusion as to what I wanted. The Rain Forest guy came and gave a very cursory examination, fiddled with a few sprinkler heads, actually broke one of the sprinklers in my presence, made some weak excuse about it and left. I think he made the Angie's list offer because he was trawling for new landscaping jobs and when he saw I was not looking for that, he just wanted to get out as fast as possible. I ended up showing the broken sprinkler to my lawn cutting guy and he went and bought a new one and installed it, all for $10. I should have worked with him in the first place!

Description of Work: More than a month after I returned the signed contract with the understanding that I would be contacted with a choice of days in May when Yosi Rozen would be available to do the work, I contacted him at Rainforest on May 20th to express concern that I had neither received a choice of dates or, for that matter, ANY correspondence from him at all since I returned the signed contract on April 11th. I also expressed concern that his lack of follow-up left me with no choice but to conclude that since the work we contracted was only a small part of his proposal and did not generate additional income over and above the cost of the Angie's List offer, he was not interested in completing the work we contracted his company to do any time soon. | |Given the circumstances I suggested to Yosi Rozen that it was in both of our best interest to void the contract, refund the cost of the Angie's List offer, and we part amicably. | |Unfortunately, Yosi's response was that he would do his best to complete the work by the end of the May or early in June. | |When I purchased the Big Deal, I was looking for a landscape company that I could work with to improve the landscaping of my new home. Unfortunately, after a meeting with Yosi where I explained what I wanted to do, I received a proposal that was nothing like what we had discussed and that was way out of line with my budget. It is very clear to me at this point that I made a mistake in purchasing this Big Deal and would rather get a refund of my money rather that have Yosi Rozen do the work I contracted his company to do. |

Description of Work: I thought they would do some landscaping for the price, but after what I told them what I needed, the price for the work almost doubled because it included more materials also. I just had them do a cleanup of my front and back yards for the price, $799. They did a decent job for the cleanup.
