Yosi was on top of the job from day one. His subs did the brick work but they were great to deal with and Yosi was on site several times. Scheduling was easy, and the finished yard looks great. The brick work especially looks fantastic. Would recommned Rain Forest LA.

The provider was simply not attentive, slow to reply, un enthusiastic and generally lacked quality communication skills.

Yosi and his crew were punctual, efficient, and thorough. They've returned to our property on two separate occasions to help iron-out minor issues with the sprinkler system, with no charge, and no grumbling. A couple of our new plants seem 'stressed' and they've offered to replace them if any of them continue to struggle. We met with several providers before hiring Rainforest, and their pricing was right in the middle of the quotes we received.

He showed up and looked at the system, but then I never heard from him again. He told me he was going to send me a quote for upgrades and he never did.

It went fine. They were on time and did what they said they would do. No complaints.

The quality of the work was excellent, and I would use this company again, though I would be mindful of the following issues: |1. Yosef's response times to e-mails could definitely have been improved. |2. Yosef gave me very little information about the follow-up care required by the lawn, and I had to send him several follow-up e-mails to get that information from him. |3. Yosef did not explain to me that the stones he was using would be so slippery, and in fact, three family members slipped on them, though luckily our injuries were slight. It would have been nice to have been given this information and possible other options for stones. |4. Yosef broke our garage door in the process of installing the sprinkler system. The garage door was very old and falling apart. However, it was still working prior to Yosef's job. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he went on the defensive and denied it, and luckily only my in-laws' presence during the time of the work verified that he was responsible. He did come to fix it after the confrontation, though we did replace the garage doors afterwards. |5. While he started the job on the agreed upon date, there ended up being a delay of several days for him to get the grass. As a result, our dogs were not allowed on the grass for longer than we expected. |I recognize that these things don't usually go perfectly, and the Angie's List coupon definitely helped us save a $1,000 on what the project otherwise would have cost.

Never sent over the estimate & would not call you back the same day. He wanted to sell me his system rather than fixing my sprinkler system.

Full scope landsacaping including demo,hardscape, concrete ,drainage sprinklers front and rear ,new grass,2 sets of planters , hedges, |was EXTREMLY efficient, reliable, responsible,honest, decent kind person to work with, told him what was wanted and got it done when promised, very reasonable in all areas, came back when needed to fix something , stands behind his product ,will definitely use again on future properties

Not great. Sprinklers were worse after service then before. We felt he only came in order to up charge to an expensive sprinkler renovation and repair. Our sprinklers were installed by a landscape architect and crew so we know there was only a few minor repairs to be made. A waste of time and money.

The provider was great, confirmed the date to meet with us several times and showed up on time. When we told him what we wanted done, he was gave us a very honest evaluation that any work he performed would likely not help our issue with street noise and it was him who recommend we try to have the deal refunded. I'm impressed with that level of honesty.

That being said he seemed rushed and not too interested in having input/feedback from me regarding the work. I would have liked the sprinkler water not to go onto the hardscape so much ( which is one of the reasons I bought into the service).|But he rushed off and we did not review the end result together. I guess I could have called him to discuss this but I did not. He was flexible with my appointment and accommodating.|I would use him again but we'd have to get clarification between us next time so I would feel that I could have complete satisfaction ultimately and that everything we would be doing was understood by both of us ahead of time.

I was hoping he could also determine the source of a leak, to be fixed sooner at add'l cost. He seemed uninterested in finding the leak as it would take time but said he'd offer an estimate for overhaul, which I am seriously interested in. I never received that estimate. Otherwise was very personable and seemed very knowledgable and competent, but doesn't seemto be interested in small jobs.

They did a very satisfactory job. We contracted with them after the initial Angie's List offer to do an irrigation system and unfortunately, although they did what we asked them to do, we're not happy with the result. It was not their fault, it just doesn't look like the type of thing we want but it has nothing to do with the company. They did what they said they were going to do. It was good. I wouldn't praise them, I wouldn't condemn them. I think they were adequate. The price on the deal portion was fine, the price on the extra work we did was rather high.

They were wonderful. He was there on time and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need.

He knew his stuff, he was quick and solved something I was puzzled about. He was perfectly satisfactory for that purpose. They were on vacation when I first called them so it was difficult to get started because nobody was there at that moment.

The work I wanted done was basically to redo the plants/shrubs in my front yard with a new scheme, so the removal of plants I didn't like and replacing/adding new plants. I expected I would pay for the new plants/flowers, and that the coupon value should more than cover any labor. But the quote I was given was for over $1800 plus the coupon, so with a coupon value of $1127 this would have close to $3000 which I felt was far excessive for what I wanted done. After receiving the quote I asked for a detailed list of plants and color scheme since the quote only indicated a specific number of 5 and 1 gallon shrubs, but was never provided that. Anyway, I feel I can get the work I want completed for a much more reasonable rate.

I purchased the Big Deal for the sprinkler check up and while it took a while to actually get a response, after that, Yosi was very nice and even accommodated my lateness on the actual day of the service. He checked all the zones of my sprinkler system and changed a few of the deals and adjusted the water flow.

it was a little hard to communicate set up the appointment. so there was some confusion and i waited one day and he didn't show up. he apologized and came on another day. we had a handyman working at the house who got really upset when the irrigation system was turned on without warning to him and made his equipment wet.

Within two weeks, Rainforest demolished and restored our entire cement courtyard in the most neat, efficient, and professional manner. From Day 1 to Day 14, Yosi provided personal attention to every detail. He ensured his crew started promptly (actually they arrived 15 minutes early!) and within two hours, almost a quarter of the demo work was done. Other contractors failed to provide confidence that the final concrete finish would meet our desires and specifications, but Yosi's crew exceeded our expectations. They left us beautiful yard that we will enjoy for decades to come!

Yossie, the owner, was very impressive, professional, showed up on time and went beyond the details of the Angie's list deal I purchased to give me advice on the timing of each of the sprinklers and where I could save water. As I said, he came exactly on time and left 1/2 hour later, leaving me a very happy customer. I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Rain Forest LA was very quick with their response after my purchase of the big deal. Yosi was very friendly and professional over the phone. When he learned that my home was outside of his service area, he was upfront that we will not be able to do business; saving us both time. I appreciated his consideration and respect for my time. Though he did no work for me, he made a great first impression.

Overall, it was fine. I felt a little pressure because the job was done quickly. Even though I was in the midst of travel and things like that, he had to be done during the weekdays and I worked full-time. I wasn't there to help with some of the decision making during the time that the workers were there. Afterwards, I saw things that I would have done differently. That was the thing that I was not happy with. It constricted me in terms of my being able to supervise the work and give feedback. Some of the feedback I gave when I got home at night didn't get executed during the time. They were prompt about getting everything done but ti wasn't done in the time frame where I could be a part of the process. I would not do it that way again. I want to supervise the work better. I wouldn't use the company again in the same way. I would insist that I need to be there at least for some of the critical times. I got a plan that existed already. I got an estimate for the entire job. I got one for doing the terrace porch and part of the front yard. We broke the job. The quality of the workmanship was good.

The owner did not respond after the initial consultation. He did not respond until I made a phone call to him. The Estimate he sent was outrageously expensive. I then contacted him about doing something using the coupon amount, and he responded curtly in an email that that was not possible. My sense is that he is only interested in trying to procure very very expensive landscape jobs and is using the coupon offer as a bait for these jobs. He is clearly not interested in providing any kind of service to the average homeowner who does not have a budget of $30,000+.

Yosi came to discuss the project. He was very professional and helpful. He provided the quote for the job, but it was out of my budget even with the big deal.
