Description of Work: My shower stall was grouted and pictures/mirrors hung in living and dining rooms. The first attempt to grout was a disaster. I had to have them back several times at an additional cost to have the shower stall re-grouted. The guys were nice and friendly, but the grout work was not very professional in my opinion. I hired professionals because I did not want to do the job, but I could have saved money and did the work myself.

Description of Work: Work was never performed due to scheduling problems. I would still consider them if the work could be performed according to the special price available in 2013.

Description of Work: They no called and no showed on the day scheduled. Only after repeated attempts to reach them did "his mother" respond via text and said that her son the contractor was on the hospital. I took that as truth and waited as they requested for a week as that is when he said he would be back on his feet. A week went by and i didn't hear from them, so I reached out again to which I was told to with another week. This went on for two more weeks and by the time I gave up Angie's list 30 day money back guarantee was expired. I explained this to the vendor who essentially told me it was my problem now and he had moved on to another job. Thanks to Angie's list I received my money back and have since had the work done. I got the sense that this vendor was not being truthful and I wouldn't recommend them again

Description of Work: They did fine with the tasks at hand. I will be using my regular handyman in the future, he was just not available at that time. The guys were great though!

Description of Work: I contacted the provider by phone to schedule the work covered in the coupon (6 hours of handyman service) and left a message. Two days later, I sent an e-mail. The next day, I received a reply that the provider could not book the appointment until October due to being fully scheduled until then, but would be happy to do so in October if I chose. I prefer to receive a refund.

Description of Work: Service provider stated that because my home was outside service area by one block that they would honor the Big Deal, but that work might need to be done on the weekend. I agreed to this modification to the original potential work dates which I had submitted when purchasing the offer. Provider then strung me along for a very long time without committing to any date. Finally he agreed to do work on 8/16/14 at 2pm. Provider first stated that he would be delayed until 3pm that day. However provider didn't arrive until 4:10pm without explanation. After reviewing scope of work, he stated that it would take one additional hour to complete project and we agreed on a price. Provider then went to his truck for several minutes and upon returning stated he could start work but not finish the small project until the following day, Sunday. While I was not happy, he said it was only way to do work because he had "somewhere to go". Provider then went to his truck again for 15 minutes and upon returning said that he could actually not do any work that day and would need to return following day at noon to start the job. I told him that I had no desire to wait again over two hours for him to show up and would only agree if he could arrive on time, prepared to complete the job. I explained that my schedule was very busy and I couldn't waste time again. He agreed. The following morning I texted him to confirm that he would be at my home at noon. He began to equivocate and stated that he would basically try his best unless other things came up. I reiterated what I had said the previous day that I was only willing to reschedule if he came to my home on time the second time. He then continued to equivocate some more and tell me he would get back to me later. At that point it was 90 minutes before the job start time and I had no question that he was going to show up very late again. Given this, I told him that I was no longer interested in having him do the work. I simply did not trust someone who conducted himself in such an unprofessional manner to work on my home. He then stated that in contacting Angie's List I needed to tell them that the reason for my request of a refund was that the coupon was outside the service area, otherwise "I would have a problem." My belief is that the provider did not want what occurred here to be communicated to Angie's List.

Description of Work: Willy and his helper were great. Willy stayed in touch prior to arrival and kept me apprised as work was completed. They completed everything on my list even with compensating for some of my technical difficulties...installed tv mount, hung my 46" tv, helped me move some over sized boxes, fixed an appliance damage. 6 hours became 3 hours for 2 guys and it worked. I am happy with the work done.

Description of Work: Mostly they fixed drawers and cupboards. The work was performed very well and the workman were very nice and professional. However, we originally could not get a response by phone from the company. They just wouldn't call us back so we couldn't schedule the work. We had to go back to Angie's list to get them to place a call and then RAD finally contacted us.

Description of Work: I purchased their services on Angie's list. They didn't contact me so I contacted them after a couple weeks and they said they didn't realize I purchased their service because they had lost the list of people had bought their deal. They also said I was outside their service zone, but that was not what was listed on their deal. Then they said they would get in touch a week later and let me know when they could perform the service. After 9 days I called them again and got the same story, "we'll call you back." Finally they called me back, booked a service, they cancelled that date a few days later and booked another day. I told them I would make it work but i had to cancel and reschedule a couple days before our scheduled time. They said they would not be able to do the job anymore and didn't want to honor the deal. I asked why they didn't tell me that 6 weeks ago when I had initially contacted them. I told them their service sucked and they should do a better job. I also told them I would be writing a review. Instead of apologizing and thinking of a way to do the work, they threatened to sue me if I wrote a negative review. In the end, Angie's list refunded my money and apologized for the whole situation. This was my experience and I hope other people find it helpful.

Description of Work: We used Rad Rooms for drywall work prior to installing new cabinets in our kitchen. They were very accommodating with our requests and tight time frame and worked with us on price. They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Five days before Willy was suppose to arrive I sent a list of handy man projects that needed to be done. Fix two light fixture pull chains, fix garbage disposal switch, fix side gate, remove one piece of molding from a wall, plaster a wall where a door use to be (dry wall was already put up). When he gets here he says he can't do any of it.

Description of Work: William and his partner repaired drywall in seven rooms that had total electrical rewire work done. It took him three and a half days to complete the job.

Description of Work: I called Willy and he came quickly. He did odd jobs like: put a floor in an outside shed and a new door on it, patched a wall and ceiling that had been damaged by a water leak, put molding in part of a hall, part of the kitchen and my family room. He replace some mirror doors in a bedroom and replaced a cracked mirror in another bedroom, he closed off an electrical outlet that was left unfinished from a previous contractor in the bathroom and put a matching tile over it. He also put screens over openings on the house to prevent wild animals from living under there.
