He did a really good job so I hired him to do a painting job as well. He was on time, knowledgeable, polite, and clean.

It was great. Making the appointment was easy, and we worked out an appointment date and time. The service provider showed up on time, and cheerfully tackled the job of sanding down the peeling varnish, and restaining and weather sealing and waterproofing the wooden slates on the garden bench within the 2 hours.

I was unable to use the Big Deal due to scheduling issues with this company.

Mostly went very well. Best to work out in advance who buys what material and how much -- to save last minute trips to Home Depot. The work was very neat and professional. The price was right and wasn't charged for going over time agreed upon.

It was good. They did about four or five extra hours of work, so I paid for that.

Did the work quickly and efficiently. While he was here he also repaired another problem on outside wall, for additional cost.

They did an excellent job in the time they quoted.

Show up on time., finish project within time frame. However, I feel his quote price is on the high side. I will use him only through deal by Angie's again.

I've been a designer for 10 years, and these guys are the best subcontractors I've ever met! Will is very courteous, polite, respectful and best of all has integrity. This was my first time using Angie's list deals and found a coupon for $100 for 2hrs of drywall patching. We have a home built in the 1940's with 1" thick plaster and had a leak from the second floor bathroom that damaged the ceiling drywall in the living room. Will and his team shimmed up 1/2" drywall (that we provided) to match the 1" drywall and patched the large hole. When he was halfway finished, he could tell that it wasn't going to look right so he said he would pick up a piece of 3/4" drywall so that it would match the existing seamlessly and didn't charge us for the work done the previous day!!! Now that is what I call integrity. It's so refreshing to come across contractors that care about providing good service and quality work. We liked their work so much that we had them complete more drywall and painting tasks around our house. They are a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use their services in the future.

Willy is a wonderful person, patient, accommodating, and professional. He is easy to communicate with, and listens very carefully to instructions. Moreover, he is easy to reach by cell phone, and texts promptly! He did great work in several areas of our home, from replacing a broken skylight, to patching plaster on a wall, repairing a window and gate, and painting indoors and outdoors. The jobs were done quickly and very well, and I would highly recommend him and his crew.

It was very positive. They were very timely and thorough. They did exactly what I asked. It ended up being two people coming instead of one. The main thing is to be clear about what you want and have all your supplies. It worked out really well. It ended up being about an hour, which was fine. I was very pleased. They were very professional.

The adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. I took some shortcuts here and the service matched.

Smooth experience from start to finish. RAD was on time, prepared and professional. They removed water damaged plaster and patched and repaired medium sized closet.

I am a new member of Angie's List (7/8/2013). In June, in the middle of the night, the water supply line broke on my upstairs second bedroom bathroom's toliet flooding my entire townhome from top to bottom. Several holes in the drywall in three rooms had to be cut out of the ceilings and walls of three rooms to facilitate drying and r***** mold formation. Needless to say, my townhome is now in need of extensive repairs. I joined Angie's List mainly to be able to separate honest, reliable companies from those who were scam artists who did shoddy work. I went to the "BIG DEAL" area and soon found, according to Angie's List, an A-rated, award winning company named RAD Rooms and Patios that had a BIG DEAL for 3 hours of drywall repair work for $99. Minutes after I bought it, the phone rang. It was Willy Martinez wanting to make an appointment for Sunday morning even though it was late Friday afternoon. I told him I had 8 holes in the ceilings and walls of 3 rooms. He immediately started upselling me about the amount of hours needed and 2 men working would make the job go faster. He assured me the other man would not be his helper but an experienced drywaller who would work independently just to get all the work done faster. For 2 men now, the $99 would be for just 1 1/2 hours. I told Willy after I saw how much they could accomplish and the quality of their work after 1 1/2 hours, I would decide whether I wanted them to finish. He told me each additional hour would be $49 an hour. I called him on Saturday about measurements and thickness of drywall but I was unsure if I was correct so Willy said he would just come Sunday morning, take measurements, and go to Home Depot (5 minutes from my home) to get drywall and materials and not charge me any time until he actually started working. Willy and Ronnie showed up right on time Sunday morning not with a truck or van but with a small car with a hatchback opening. I knew that drywall came in 4' by 8' sheets but Willy assured me he knew what he was doing. He did the measurements in his head, told me he needed four 4' by 8' sheets, and he and Ronnie headed off to Home Depot in his little car. They were gone ONE WHOLE HOUR to a Home Depot 5 minutes away. (After the fact, I realized they spent 30 minutes in the parking lot cutting the drywall just to fit in their small car, not the sizes needed for repair.) He suckered me into paying 30 minutes of my 1 1/2 hours for materials pickup by asking me what I thought was fair. Cut to the chase, they did a shoddy job on my drywall replacement leaving gaps and holes that I had to pay a real drywall specialist to fix!!!! $49 an hour became $98 an hour for 2 men. Most of the time, Willy was evasive and clueless about drywall repair and what he had told me previously. Ronnie worked more as his helper than independently as promised. After they left, I went to his real company website on Angie's List. Willy and his company have very erratic grades---- as many D's and F's as A's and B's. RAD Rooms and Patios is NOT an A-rated and award winning company in my experience. No where on this site does it say they do drywall repair. I am a very disillusioned NEW member of Angie's List!!!!!!

Willy and his helper worked very professionally and performed the drywall repairs very efficiently. They cleaned up any residue left when they finished. Also, they reconnected and moved the washer and dryer back into place. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else who needed this type of work.

Willy was very professional. He worked quickly and didn't waste any time and did veyr good work. I would use him again and recommend him to friends.

Initially he believe that to remove and reinstall the ballisters was out of his expertise however he decided to atke the challenge He remove the ballister and that went very well. I agreed to pay an extra $75.00 to put it baclk in place, however when he came back he said that it was a big job and he wanted $500.00 to put back in place. I declined on the service and agrreed to pay him the $75.00 for the a removal and relocation of a doogy door. This job was poorly done. He doesn't carry proper tools to work. Its a very nice person, ponctual and follow up often however the handyman skills are not up to part.

Willy was amazing!!! He did a wonderful job and exceeded my expectations. I emailed him a list and photos of repairs needed. He came prepared with all the necessary tools and supplies. He was very efficient and professional. He explained everything, repaired items that weren't on the list that contributed to the problems, and asked me to review each task he completed. I've been looking for a handyman for a long time. I found a great one.

Willy was very responsive and did great work. He is courteous and easy to work with. He is conscientious and double-checks his work as well as cleans up. We definitely recommend him to others and we will call him again ourselves.

Willy was very punctual, polite, didn't waste any time. He had very good suggestions on how to do the job and finished on time, he was very considerate about any OT and explained it ahead of time. Willy brought a partner on the day we demolished the closets which really helped complete the job faster. I would also recommend him for exterior and interior painting as he did some additional work for us. Definitely will call him again.

It turned out fine. They were efficient, good working, and got the job done. I was happy with the work.

I purchased the coupon for 2 hours of handyman service for $49. Shortly after I purchased the coupon, the handyman called to schedule an appointment--very proactive and responsive. I wasn't ready to start the service yet so I called in a few weeks and was able to schedule something for the next day. I wanted my garbage disposal replaced but Willy was able to fix it without replacing it. He offered to still install the new garbage disposal but since it was working again, I opted for him to take a look at a weak spot in the bathroom wall where the toilet paper holder was hanging. He removed the part of the wall that wouldn't hold the hanger anymore which created about a three inch hole. He repaired the hole and even used my spare paint to paint over his repair. The wall looks great. You can't even tell that anything was done. He then hung a new toilet paper roll in a new spot which works perfect. He was professional, curtious, and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use him again in the future.

I was surprised that two men came, but it was great-they divided up the jobs so that more could get done in a short amount of time. Both men were curteous and friendly and worked well near my barking dog. The work was well done and I would recommend them highly.

He was very good. He was very respectful, he did show up a little bit late. His service was very good.
