Description of Work: 2 man crew, who worked efficiently to do as much work as possible in shortest amount of time. I was very pleased with both the quality of the work, and the attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Very conscientious craftsmen.

Description of Work: Willy and his assistant spent 3 hours repairing 4 separate plaster cracks and 2 ran into the ceiling area. They do excellent work. There was some delay as to the date they were coming and the time of arrival, but he was very polite and professional at all times.

Description of Work: I needed a window fixed, a new linoleum floor in my small bathroom, a new showerhead installed and the 2 mounts for my tv's installed in the wall. It was a lot of work and it was done flawlessly and quickly . | |The best service I have received in Los Angles ever. I would recommend and call them back without a thought. They were awesome!

Description of Work: Work was paid for in bulk hours... Workers extremely slow based on prior experience. After they told me they were going to stay a it longer to make up for a break.. They left about 45 min earlier then Stated. This happened after I expressed my frustration. They were super super nice!! Next time I would only buy " job pricing instead of hours "

Description of Work: I called the provider to set up an appointment. He responded in a timely manner however, he was all over the place during the conversation. I asked him when he was available and he could not give me a straight answer. I asked him if he could come on Wednesday and he could not figure out what date Wednesday was. He quoted several wrong dates in April when the appointment would be in May. I then questioned him if he was ok. Then once we set the appointment, he got my address but said that I was out of the range of the area where he worked. He said that the e-mail should have never been sent to me. He suggested that I get a refund from Angie's list. He later called back to try to schedule something but given his behavior on the phone and the horrible ratings he has gotten since I bought this deal I do not feel comfortable having him in my home.

Description of Work: I purchased the Deal to get an old kitchen faucet switched out with a new one I purchased. I called to make an appointment - indicating I had the Angie's list coupon - and was told that they are not licensed/covered to perform that type of work and I need to get a licensed plumber to do it. I told him the coupon listed minor plumbing as one of the services. He said that a kitchen faucet installation is NOT a minor plumbing job and that he was not covered should anything leak. The person I spoke with was nice, but I didn't catch his name as there was a lot of background noise on his cell phone. I will be contacting a plumber I previously found on Angie's List who is absolutely stellar in performance and price.

Description of Work: Simply stated, Willy was a no show to our appointment. which, we agreed to and arranged via a phone conversation. In addition, there was no follow up call from Willy as to why he could not/would not make the pre-arranged appointment.

Description of Work: Provider failed to return several phone calls. When I finally reached him, he was rude, reluctant to schedule a time, and began upselling beyond the purchased service before he had even seen the job. He eventually stated that he did not want to provide service in my area of Los Angeles and asked me to contact Angie's List for a refund. By this point, I no longer wanted this provider anyway, and was happy to end my dealings with him.

Description of Work: After several calls to the provider and conversation with the provider, we were advised to contact Angie's list.

Description of Work: Despite my better judgment, I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $49 for 2 hours of Handyman service. The jobs I had around the house were very simple, and I figured even a novice would be able to take care of them. Willy of RAD rooms was quick to respond, but seemed overwhelmed at the response from Angie's List members. I emailed him my preferred date/time (Friday, 3-29 in the AM), and he confirmed. About a week before the appointment, he called and asked if he could come around 1pm instead of the morning. Although annoyed, I agreed, and shuffled my schedule around to accomodate him. On the date of the appointment, he called about an hour ahead of time asking if he could come at 3pm. I said we had an appointment at 1pm and hoped he would come as soon as he could. He mumbled a bit and eventually agreed that he would come as soon as possible. I had a bad feeling... Then... that was it. He didn't show up, he didn't call to reschedule, apologize etc. I called twice to see what was going on, but to no avail. No response. I should have known better than to pay someone up front for a job he had not yet performed. What irks me the most is that my entire day was wasted sitting in my house waiting for him to show up and he did not have the common decency to call to try to explain himself. I will absolutely never hire Willy Martinez or RAD rooms again, and would strongly urge Angie's List members to avoid him like the plague. I find it strangely ironic that he would offer a deal on a website that encourages its customers to rate his performance, and then reneg on the agreement. This is called Karma.
