They come pretty much right away when you need them and they?re very professional. They might be a little more expensive but I feel like they do really good work.

We called and left a message. They called back promptly and sent someone out quickly. Their plumbers always know what they are doing and this time was no exception. The diagnosed and fixed the problem swiftly. On another occasion, I had them fix some leaky faucets. They were a type of faucet more often used for businesses than residential. Another plumber who had come out first couldn't figure out how to get the handles off the faucets, let alone how to fix the leak. The Plotke plumber knew immediately what to do and arranged to order the parts. There was a problem because some of the parts he ordered were wrong, but Plotke returned them and ordered the new parts and did not bill me for the time spent trying to install the wrong parts, so in the end, I was very satisfied with their service. Plotke is very reliable and very professional. They take care of their customers and I am happy to continue to use them. They may not be the cheapest plumbers in town, but they are definitely worth it. I particularly like that their office mails you a bill for their services and you don't have to haggle with the plumber every time and end up wondering if you got ripped off.

It went well. I will probably accept their bid for the hose bib.

It was amazingly simple, it took him all of 10 minutes, but I never would have known where to look for the correct (very tiney) screws to change the faucet.

I had a problem with hot water pressure at my house. I had several plumbers come out to diagnose the problem and provide proposals. Plotke was the only one who figured it out and provided a simple solution. THe others wanted 3 or 5 times the amount with no real idea that their solution would solve the problem. They also found out that my pressure relief valve on the water heater was not working and although they did not have a valve that would work offered to come back to fix and showed me how to replace it myself. Very simple and saved me money.

They are extremely professional, extremely good and very easy to work with.

Emailed company a photo of type of faucet that needed to be replaced. Company promptly purchased and installed new replacement faucet.

Service man promptly showed up, checked water heater, and corrected issue with water leaking from heater. Also answered any questions I had.

Plotke is just great. Mario in the office takes care of things promptly. Cesar has been my main guy and he and the others at Plotke know their stuff and are prompt and professional.

Service person came on time we agreed on. Ran snake down the drain. It appeared to work, however, the next day the problem continued. Called them back and they immediately sent someone back again.....no questions asked. Fixed it this time. They answer their phones and are very good about getting someone to your house promptly. Have used their plumbing services many times. I like the fact that some of their employees know my house and have worked there before.

Beginning with the first meeting, through the estimate phase and eventually the work, Mario and his guys were first rate, professional, prompt and courteous. I have used many plumbers through the years and never have they been as first rate as these guys, whom I found on Angie's List. My neighbors ended up using these guys to slip line their sewer line after they saw how nice of a job they did in adding a clean-out to our sewer line.

They did a good job, everything went very well. They were very prompt and professional.

I contacted the provider based on positive reports on Angie's List. The plumber (Cesar) showed up at the expected time. It was a small job, but it was done to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price.

Plotke Plumbing answered my call after I had already gotten a call back and made an appointment with Malcolm Rooter. So, I don't have any information to report about this company.

Now, this plumber has great ratings on Angie's List. But after this disastrous experience, I looked them up on yelp and they have exactly two reviews, both "one star," with lines like "never use this plumber."

They were very skilled and they fixed something that a few other companies couldn?t fix for me. I found them to be a little pricey but I would hire them again because they were good.

They seemed to be responsible. It was a small job. The work went well and everything looks fine now. They had cleaned up after themselves too.

Plumber was quick to respond and arrived when promised. Fixed toilet quickly with no problems.

I have used Plotke Plumbing for years. From a complete re-pipe, drain cleaning and general plumbing problems, they have done it all at my house. They are a good company with a lot of experience working on older homes in my neighborhood. The cost is pretty much in line with most plumbing companies. Nobody likes to pay as much as it costs, but it's best to have the job done right. I have them snake out my main line once a year. Their workers are experienced. Mario, one of the owners is usually available in the office. If there is a problem or question regarding the work or the bill, he is understanding and fair. I continue to use them and so do a lot of my neighbors in the Hancock Park area.

The man came out and asked if he could remove my toilet to snake the drain-which he did in less than 35 minutes. Today, I received a bill for $212! Only one man came out to do the work, yet I was charged for the labor of two men. I was asked by the worker to sign a form stating he worked for an hour and half, which I refused. They also failed to tell me I would be charged so high for the snaking. I was initially told I would only be charged $96 per hour, no mention of parts or extra charges for the machinery. I feel they charged fraudulently. The bill contained inaccurate information as an apparent attempt to beef up the bill. *I marked quality as N/A as I am not aware whether or not the worker solved the problem. Updated: Mario Sanchez, the owner of Plotke, gave me a call after I have mailed him a certified letter explaining the situation. He called to give me an explanation of the bill. He seemed to think I didn't understand why I was given such a high bill. I mentioned the information regarding falsely stating there were two workers and other inaccurate information. He was willing to take off the $96 for the "additional person." This would bring the bill down to $139, which I will pay. I will be expecting the bill in the mail shortly. He was rather unpleasant on the phone. It sounded as if he felt he was going out of his way to give me the discount, when I shouldn't have been charged that amount from the beginning. They were completely unresponsive until I mailed the certified letter. I would still never work with them again in the future.

Called and left a message to make an appointment for an estimate on a water heater. I was called back by a man named Lyn and an appointment was set for Friday, November 27th around 12pm. I was told that I would be called again when the person was on their way. They never called to follow up. I didn't call them again since I knew that they had my number since they called me back before. This was a test of their reliability, which they unfortunately failed.

Super easy. Came for estimate, I was happy with price then the next week he did it. The work looks good. No complaints.

The plumber came over to find the source of the leak. He punched a hole in the ceiling where the leak was occurring. Worked hard to determine the precise source of the leak. After investigating various possibilities, and crawling in the crawl space above the ceiling, he explained to me what he thought was happening. I then wondered if the source wasn't the water heater and showed him where the water heat is located. As we stood there discussing the possible leak source, I noticed water on the floor. When I pointed this out, the plumber traced the water back to the heat and identified the water as the source of the leak. We then began discussing options for replacing the water heat. He said he would have the salesperson come talk to me about the option of a tankless water heater. In the meantime, I determined that I did not want a tankless water heat because they are very expensive to install. The salesperson (who is the owner of the company I think) arrived he was ready to sell me a tankless water heater. I told him I did not want to buy a tankless heater and asked about the price of replacing our heater with the same. He gave a quote of $1700.00 which I knew was too high based on research I had been doing. I said I would think about it and call him. I found another company that charged half the price to install the water heater.

On time, clean, neat work. Courteous and helpful.

I called Plotke to repair a leaky kitchen faucet and repair my sprayer attachment. I didn't do any comparative shopping because my first experience with Plotke had been so good I felt I couldn't do better. Plotke sent someone over to take a look at the job. He helped me remove all the stuff I had under the kitchen sink to get in to see where the leak was coming from. He told me the faucet wasn't repairable and I needed to order a new one and suggested I call back when I had it. I don't think I was charged for his time and diagnosis. I called Plotke when I had obtained the new faucent and sprayer attachment. The man they sent this time was different buy equally helpful and pleasant. He removed the old faucet and sprayer and installed the new one with no problem and it's been working perfectly ever since. I really like this company. Their staff is friendly, competent, efficient, honest, pleasant and they go out of their way to be helpful in ways that one doesn't often experience in our increasingly careless world. Hooray, Plotke!
