Description of Work: Repaired frozen stems in both lab sink faucets, removing sinks to access |valves under faucets, checked all work, re-installed sinks, including caulking. |Labor was 6 hours and parts were an additional $200. | |Three previous plumbers could not identify Italian hardware and were unable to make repairs. Plotke researched and identified hardware, found installation manual and successfully replaced stems. BRAVO. | |Sounds like a lot of money but it was a big job and the repair enabled us to have hot water in the sinks after several months of frustration.

Description of Work: They were terrific. I am a tenant, so the landlord paid, so I don't know if this price is reasonable or not. It seems so to me. The price included a brand new water heater plus installation. The office people were very accomodating and the team that came to remove the old and install the new, were equally nice and professional, and knew what they were doing. A keeper!

+ 0 moreThey called at the exact time they said in the morning to confirm the appointment time and then showed up right on time. When they were looking at the leaking drain they also noticed that the entire faucet assemble was rusted and falling apart. They did not have this part on the truck, but agreed to be back the next day (a Saturday) to finish the work. They showed up at the exact time and installed the faucet. The washer/dryer hook-up was done perfectly, and very neat and clean with how they ran all the hoses and vents. They were even able to fix a gas smell that I had in the service porch by installing a new valve. Everything they did was great, and I would have them do more work in our house in the future.
Description of Work: Fixed a pipe that was leaking under the kitchen sink and also and hook-up a washer and dryer.

+ -1 morePlotke plumbing came out for an estimate the next day, and scheduled work to begin right away. They finished the work in two days, scheduled two inspections and showed up for one.
Description of Work: I needed a bathtub brought up to code with new valves and exhaust. My business needed a plumbing permit for this in order to finalize my Certificate Of Occupancy with the Department of Building and Safety. Two different plumbers had previously strung me along for months, telling me they'd find time to schedule my work, and then blow me off completely. Others would not return calls at all, and at least two told me they would NOT perform the work I needed, because it was a repair of someone else's poor quality work and it would be followed by an inspection by DB&S.

After he was done installing all the faucets and repairing the toilet, he took the time to tighten the toilet seat because he happened to notice it was loose. We're pleased with his work and would not hesitate to call again. The estimated time of completion given by their scheduler was accurate. Invoice was clear-cut and included the water heater estimate.
Description of Work: I had three bathroom faucets and a porch faucet replaced with new ones that I'd purchased. Had a fill valve on a toilet replaced and also asked for an estimate on a new water heater. This was for a triplex.
