David gave me great advise as we had a power surge here and he gave me the pros and cons of fixing or replacing the machine . He highly suggested replacing the machine even though he could fix it . David wasn't looking to make money if it wasn't in our best interest . We have found our appliance repair team ! Thank-You David !

My dryer is about 12 years old and was not drying clothes very well anymore. When I talked to them on the phone they already knew what the problem was and gave me a very reasonable quote. They arrived when they said they would and fixed the problem quickly. I really like these guys and will definitely use them again.

Initially, a little hard to contact. Then highly professional, asked for details about what was not working properly, then informed me that they would have to order a part, requested the model number of machine to make sure they got correct part, projected accurately how long it would take before they received the part. Came when promised and installed the new part efficiently. Extremely friendly and professional.

Broker washer, no show with different service. David was very helpful on the phone ...knowledgeable, made suggestions for me to repair without coming out. Took my serial # /model# and actually researched my model and called me the next day without having paid a cent. Oscar came out and was on time, found the problem and repaired within an hour (having the part with him). EXCELLENT! Would use again.

I called and told David the problem with my mother's washer (drum getting out of balance) He sent Oscar out the next day and he diagnosed the problem, but he didn't have the parts he required with him. No problem, he came out the following day and completed the repair and ran a load of laundry to confirm the washer was working fine. I am fine with the price I paid and definitely fine with the quick response.

Update on a repair recently done...Johnny is now long gone and David took money for a repair that fell apart very quickly. Keep your money and call Oscar!!! Johnny was early and polite and articulate. He took the dryer apart and showed me what went wrong. I had way too much lint in the dryer and the lint had started to burn. Fortunately I had the dryer duct and vent cleaned out before Johnny got to my home so he cleaned out the machine and turned the gas back on and made sure that all was in working order. Turns out that the gas would not stay on because the dryer duct still had a clog. Johnny then cleared the clog and re-tested. After he was sure that all systems worked he put the dryer back together and took a look at my washer. He confirmed Dave's phone diagnosis and replaced a switch on my washer. After testing the washer he cleaned up, packed up and said goodbye. I am always amazed when a service experience goes so smoothly for such a fair price. My experience with Paul's was terrific from the time I picked up the phone to inquire about the possibility of saving my dryer to my goodbye to Johnny. I would recommend Paul's to anyone. My 10 year old Frigidaire Gallery Series front loading washing machine was making unusually loud noises during the spin cycle. I called David and left a message describing the noises I heard. He called back about 90 minutes later and told me straight away that it sounds like my bearings are shot and it's cheaper/more cost effective to buy a new machine. He went on to say that it was very expensive to fix the bearings and he currently recommended LG machines. I thanked him for his candor and that was it. If he wanted to he could have come out and told me the same thing and charge me for a service call with the same diagnosis. For that, I thank him.

Oscar and Johnny were very efficient. The repairmen had the product back in order within an hour. They brought all the parts they needed in their truck, so that made the job go so smoothly.

My washing machine stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. He arrived promptly and was able to tell me immediately that the problem was the switch triggered by the lid. He also noticed a problem with the agitator that I had been unaware of - but once he pointed it out, I realized that he was right because the problem he described that would be caused by the agitator not working right had in fact been happening (I had just chalked it up to it being a very old machine). He was able to fix the agitator also, and for a very reasonable price. He also told me a couple of things I should be doing differently to prolong the life of this old washing machine, which I really appreciated. It was an A+ experience!

Called and phone call was answered immediately. I described the problem with my clothes dryer and was told the problem was probably the motor and would cost too much to make it worth repairing, if getting a replacement motor was even possible. This didn't seem right to me, so I was inspired to look up the information about my dryer online, and went through one of those diagnostic programs. None of the symptoms of the dryer problem I entered in the grid resulted in a diagnosis of a bad motor, plus motors for my dryer model and serial number were readily available for $100. I was able to get a friend to look at the dryer--he opened it up and cleaned it out, and it seems to be working better. I'm not sure it is "fixed" but I am pretty sure it is not beyond hope! So I give this place credit for answering the phone and talking to me about the problem, and also that they didn't come out to my house and charge me to tell me my problem was beyond repair. But I wouldn't recommend the service at all, based on my experience. I would recommend looking online for information a a first step, though. That's what I learned!

My clothes dryer stopped drying and the door wouldn't stay shut. David diagnosed the door-related problem immediately and had me send him a photo of the dryer's make and model so he could buy the part before arriving. Unfortunately, the lack of heat was another problem which required a second trip to fix. It was difficult to get David to respond to my phone call, but once he started to fix the problems, he was punctual and efficient.

Left a voice mail, which was returned within an hour. Told about horribly squeaky GE Profile dryer. David said one way to repair would be to replace one part, but it would throw everything else out of balance and the squeak would return in a few months, and that proper repair required replacement of three parts, which would come to $200. As my alarm bells went off about getting gouged, David said he realized that sounded like a lot, about half the cost of a new (cheap) dryer. He said his personal opinion is to fix a GE once, then pitch it, as he doesn't like their appliances. He said he wouldn't blame me if I said no thanks. Either he's a really good salesman or super honest about his work. And actually, his bid was only a little more than other repair places that would only replace the one part and not all three. I didn't have the $ for a new dryer, so I told him to come out and do the fix. Only then did I discover I happened to live outside his service area, but he had a technician who lives nearby-ish. So I was the first appointment for his tech a couple days later. Tech was prompt, clean, courteous, well-spoken and had my dryer taken apart and back together in minutes. He didn't mind me watching what he did. Dryer works like a dream now. Recommend.

After reading the rave reviews, I chose this company. I left messages on 1/29, 1/30, 1/31, and 2/1. I also sent an email on 2/1. I talked to an answering service the first times and then left messages on what seemed to be the owner's message machine. To date, I have not received a return call or a return email. I am disappointed and wonder if the problem is my area code (310) or the brand of dryer (Kenmore) or??? It is especially baffling to me because I see others left positive reviews of work performed on the very days I was waiting for contact from the owner.

My elderly dryer suddenly wore out its belt- was not rotating the drum. The problem was accurately diagnosed over the phone and an estimate was given at that time. The technician arrived the next day promptly and performed the work efficiently and professionally. Highly recommend Paul's and would use them again if I need (hopefully not anytime soon) washer or dryer servicing.

Called and left message. Call was returned by David in less than 2 hours. Arraigned for service to be done the next day at 4:00 PM. Serviceman Oscar arrived on-time at 4:01 PM. Turned out that the pump was clogged with debris and just needed to be cleaned out. He explained how to avoid this happening again. I asked him if this was something I could do in the event it ever happened again and he was glad to show me what I had to do. He cleaned out the pump, and ran a sanitizer through a cycle. The total service call was about 45 minutes. I definitely would recommend, Paul's!

Arrived on time-looked over dryer very carefully. Said dryer has two major problems-not worth repairing. Honest-terrific-call David-he's great!

David recommended that I save the cost of a visit, and try a duct cleaning service first. Very satisfied with his telephone advice.

Dave diagnosed the problem over the phone with me. He brought the parts with him on the service call. He fixed the machine in about a half hour.

We have used this company once before, and both times they were excellent. Paul was timely in returning our call, getting the needed part, and scheduling an appointment. He arrived on time and performed the repair quickly and to our satisfaction. If you need your washer or dryer fixed, this is a great company to call.

My dryer went on the blink this past Sunday and I placed a call to Paul's. Knowing that they probably would not be in on Sunday, I left a message hoping for a return call the next day. Monday morning when i still didn't hear anything, I called again. I was told that I would receive a return call from someone within an hour. I am still waiting for that call. Needless to say, promptness and professionalism are two very important qualities for me when hiring service vendors. I never even botherred to call back because their inaction and non-responsiveness spoke volumes to me.

Called to get an estimate on a major part replacement for my badly-leaking washing machine. The guy on the phone was friendly, knowledgeable and straightforward. Not only did he give me an honest opinion about how much the repair would cost (I knew it would be a lot from prior estimates), but he advised that it was probably not even worth repairing (which I suspected), and then volunteered some recommendations for good washing machines. I was kind of on the fence about whether to repair or replace, so this was really helpful, and it was so nice that he took the time to give me suggestions on which machines would be good replacements. I will definitely keep their phone number on hand for future problems.

Prompt, efficient, careful work. Problem found and fixed. Appreciated the extra time spent making sure there were no other problems.

The response and repair went well. The owner even came on the 4th of July to determine what the problem was. The parts were found the next day and the repairs we done in the afternoon. The repair estimate was what he had quoted.

I contacted Paul's because my washer and dryer both started to fail. Based on what I described and the age of the machines I was told it would be better to replace them and I got a recommendation about what to buy to replace them. I appreciated the response and the help and I will definitely call them whenever I need an appliance repaired.

Our LG Washer was making a heck of a noise. I called Paul's and described the problem. The gentleman was able to tell me what he thought the problem was and specifically advised that since it was almost 50% of the cost of a new machine that we should consider repalcing it rather than repairing it. He also told me what had likely casued the problem (overloading!). A great piece of advice to have someone tell me that he did not want us to waste money and that overloading and machine abuse "kept him in business" but that this problem was best solved with a new machine.
