Jobe Roofing Co

I had a leak in Jan 2016 and called this company out on an emergency. I paid $375 for an estimate ($1850) and for a temporary tarp to be placed over the leaky area. Initially, they could not give me a firm date. I signed a contract with no date; however, I received a date of March 14th about a week later. Feb 18th I received numerous messages from their office to see if I was available on Friday Feb 19, 2016. I had to work, therefore, I sent a text advising I had to work and was unavailable and would like to keep the original appointment date. In the meantime, I was considering canceling this job; because, "El Nino" was not happening and I could get other estimates and hopefully get a lower price. Nevertheless, I come home on Feb 19th approx 3:00pm and my gates are open and workers are on my roof! I was livid!!! I had not authorized them to come on my property and open 2 gates and connect to my electricity and begin this job. The workers said they had been at my house since 8:30 am. They knocked on the door and there was no answer, yet they went to work. The worker called the office the receptionist advised she "accidentally" scheduled me for the job, however, she never spoke to me. She kept stating that I needed the work done and I explained to her that no one works on my property without me being present. Her workers should have called the office and I should have been contacted. They wanted to take $100 off the job, that was completely unacceptable!!! I spoke to the owner - who has no customer service etiquette whatsover. Yes, I shouted and used profanity because I feel this company knew what they were doing. The wanted to get paid and they came on my property and did the work, because of the signed contract with no dates. After nearly 30 minutes on the phone, he finally apologized for the error and reduced the price to $1525. I did not want to deal with a Mechanic's Lien on my property. However, I am still considering suing them because I did not authorize this job. I have no idea of what they did to my roof. I would advise all to stay away from this company. I am still upset about this matter! Competely Unprofessional!

He came out to give me a estimate and charged me $300 for that esitmate. He was suppose to call me the next day with the esitmate. I never from him I called twice and got no answer .

I think they did a terrific job. We have a very unusual home. It is partially two story and partially one story. It is very difficult to seal that area. Actually we have had four or five roofs since we have been here. For the average person they would not have had that problem. They did the most impressive job of any roofing we have had done. It is just unfortunate that we ended up with a leak. But they have come back many times and are very responsive and very responsible. They have not ignored us. They come back almost immediately to work it.

The Jobe Roofing team was professional, and did exactly what they had promised. We love the roof. They were very busy during August 2015 and needed to delay our project for three weeks. That was fine with us. They replaced all wood that had dry rotted, and installed the necessary wood for proper installation of the roof. All edges were ssealed. We even had new rain gutters installed through them, by a subcontracting team. They also were very professional. The office manager was responsive and accurate and explained every question we had. We would use them again and would recommend them to others.

I phoned requesting an estimate to replace the roof on my house, they gave we a date six weeks away. They arrived on time and said I'd receive the estimate via email in a few days. I waited two weeks and phoned the office, the woman said wait another few days. It's been 8 days and I'm still waiting. I give up! Update: After my review posted I received a phone call from the estimator. He apologized profusely for the delay and stated I would receive my estimate later that evening, it never arrived. He also offered to cover a portion of the roof in case it rained, nice gesture. I realize we're all in a panic due to the impending El Nino and the estimator is very busy, however I feel as a potential customer I deserved better service. Hence, we have selected company to replace the roof.

I emailed Jobe Roofing for a quote regarding a couple of repair tasks for my roof. It has been over a week and I still have not received even a courtesy response.

I was told that the roof would take about a week and the solar would take an unknown amount of time due to getting permits from my city ( Glendale, CA.). I signed the contract at the end of June, 2015. The work did not start until August, 2015. My city was giving extra rebates for solar power. since I had to wait a longer period to get the roofing on, I lost out on the rebate. Apparently many residents took up on the offer and the City of Glendale stop rebates until July, 2016. I have wooden fascia overhangs. I asked the roofing representative if I should get someone to fix the overhangs before starting the re-roofing since the wood was rotten. The representative told me if the wood needed to be replaced, they would do it. They did not and the workers put the new roofing material over the above mentioned boards. I call the company and voiced my concern. I was told the roof had pass City of Glendale inspection and if there was any problems , I has a roof warranty. I was also told that someone would check the area I had a concern with. No one ever came and look at what I was concerned about. After the work was completed, I had to call someone else to patch the wood and paint all fascia boards of the house. To be fair, it was not in the contract to fix the boards that I signed with Jobe roofing. However, if you verbally tell me you will fix an area if necessary, then I would expect a company at least to come out and look at my concern. Many nails were left in the rain gutters of the house. I found this out after the recent rain we had and the rain gutters were clogged.

the roofing went well as expected and when my homeowner's Insurance wanted proof of work done they were able to fax the paper work to my Insurance agent. Plus Jobe Roofing will give you your monies worth and lasting materials that was worth the cost because I wanted the roof to last more than 10 years, and they do yearly inspections for a small fee, so that your roof will last almost to 20 years as long you continue your yearly inspections. the reason why my roof had cost so much is that I had wanted the top of the line roof and for it to last longer than 3 years, plus I have a flat roof which some companies don't want to be bothered with Sears was one of them. Jobe also specialized in flat roofs and they sold me on the materials that they used for a flat roof being that our weather are getting hotter these days and dry up the materials and make them soft and easy for leakage.

The work was not very cheap but they did a great job for the work they did. The materials I picked were expensive, which added to the overall price. They were very neat and honest. Everyday they were here they cleaned up after themselves to the point I would not even know they were here. The work was done in a timely manner. Anything I asked them to do, they would go back and fix.

Starting with the estimate Jobe was always punctual, thorough and all around fantastic. The estimate was complete and right on target. Jobe let us know that his estimate would not be the cheapest and outlined the benefits of using Jobe roofing. We are very happy with our choice and feel the quality of the work and better materials was worth the minimal extra expense. Jobe and his workers took the time to answer our questions and explain everything to us on a daily basis. The workers cleaned every day. We have kids who like to play outside and having a clean outside is essential. The front office was always helpful and friendly. We will be working with Jobe roofing again to have gutters installed and have every confidence we will be happy with the results. At the same time our roof was installed a neighbor was also getting a new roof. My untrained eyes could see the difference in quality or workmanship and materials. Once again so happy we went with Jobe! I would recommend Jobe Roofing to all my friends and family.

My experience with Jobe Roofing has been overall great. They put a brand new roof and solar panels on my multi-family old California Craftsman home. My rule of thumb is always get three bids and then choose the one that best fits your needs. While Jobe was actually the highest bid, I was convinced that he was the best due to the materials he planned on using (of which he provided copious amounts of informational material) and by his on-line reviews and reputation. Jobe's workers were timely, quick, and efficient. And the office was ready and available for any and all my questions and responded immediately to any issues (all minor) that I had. The quality of the roofing workmanship was readily apparent from the get-go. The upstairs was immediately cooler because of the insulation they used. The roof looks great and hasn't had any leaks during the recent rains. With regards to the solar panels, it is a no-brainer to have the roofer install them, as they have an intimate knowledge of your roof. Jobe assured me that they would provide the highest quality, up-to-date, most efficient solar panels. Now, of course, most people say that, and you can read informational material until you're blue in the face, but I was happily surprised when the LADWP rep came to switch on my solar panel power and was suitably impressed by the actual solar power system. That just reinforced my appreciation of the superior grade of materials that Jobe uses. I have recommended Jobe Roofing to friends who were very happy with the job done. And I'm about to use Jobe again to install more solar panels for my second unit.

Jobe Roofing was fantastic. Kevin came out timely, quoted everything I needed and made all the changes in the contract I asked for. I had got 5 other bids and his was complete and very reasonable. The workman were very clean and they finished timely. I would highly recommend them.

On time, ALL personnel courteous. Most important, the individuals who came and did the work in 95 degree heat. Professional, no loud radios, showed me the issues which were a problem caused by the original builder and fixed them. Dust kept to a minimum, special care given to stove vents so that gravel from the old roof did not fall in while they tore off the old covering. The materials used complied with California's new energy conservation demands, Title 24, and those regulations work. The house temperature dropped four degrees just from the roof replacement. I was very impressed with the neatness and orderliness of the crew members. At the end of every day, everything was swept up, picked up and carried away. The quality of the work is outstanding. the flashing alignment, the roofing material cut precisely at the edge, I am impressed.les

They were wonderful. They always showed up on time and let us know when there was a problem and how much extra it would cost. They were very open with their communication.

They were good. I like it because they did it without me being there. Its a rental property so I wasn't there. Quality was good.

After a leak in my den was discovered during one of the heavy rains, I called a few companies. Everyone that came recommended for me to dig up my entire deck. It would've cost me over $8000. Jobe Roofing came over, examined the deck, and immediately found the source of the problem. It was some caulking around the base of the windows that had come undone. The told me they could patch it up for under $300. They totally fixed it! These guys know what they're doing!!

I had to replace my 20 year old flat roof of my house and was shopping around for quite some time to choose the right company for this job. If you read this review, chances are, you are in a similar position. Maybe you also encountered already some very sleazy companies and sales persons in that business. After doing my homework and spending countless hours with various sales reps on and off the roof, I narrowed it down to only three companies and Jobe Roofing was my final choice. Many companies don?t realize that their consultant is their business card, the first contact and first impression for the customer. Franco, did the perfect job. He?s friendly, knowledgeable, providing all the options and information without being pushy. Followup questions are answered and the estimate adjusted for my needs for the final work order. The final estimate was very reasonable compared to other offers and on top of that, it was exactly what I paid for, not a cent more even they had to replace some extra wood panels. The crew that did the job was amazing. Very professional, on time, hard working, cleaning up every thing (after each day!) and on top friendly and always in a good mood. These little details help you when stressed out with such a major undertaking that you do for the first time.There were some challenges with skylights and other obstacles. But that never seemed to be a problem for the crew who always came up with a solution. Now I have a brand new ?CoolRoof? with white cap sheets that meet Title24 requirements to keep my house cool. Also, no problem with the final inspection by the city. He didn?t even spent a minute on the roof. I guess he could see right away that this is a quality, professional job done by a professional company. Thank you for Jobe Roofing, highly recommended.

The work was done timely. All the workers were very professional at the job site, especially the owner Mr. Jobe Carbajal, toke his time to explained the job in detail and handled my phone calls and questions promptly before and during the period of the roofing job. The main office staff handles phone calls professionally, which put me at ease when I have to deal out a large sum of money for this job. I had arranged the painter to paint the house at the same time when the tile roofs was being changed. Jobe Roofing did a fantastic job coordinating their work with my painters, so the painting was completed before the replacement of all the clay tile on the roof. I highly recommend Jobe Roofing , they know what they are doing, and I am glad I chose Jobe Roofing over six other bidders I interviewed. Thanks Jobe and the staff.

The service went poorly. A technician came out for an inspection and made some recommendations. They were supposed to come out at a certain time and they did not. They were also not prepared for the service when they did show up. Scheduling was terrible and I feel like they did not really do anything. Cb.na.affb-no

I just hired and completed my second total tear-off/roof replacement with Jobe Roofing. This time was for a duplex and garage with tile and flat roofs. Jobe and his team did another fine job. They show up on time, they take pride in their work, clean up well and attended to the level of detail that I requested. I was presented with several options for replacing my roof at different costs, which I appreciated. Olga who runs the office was also very professional and timely with billings and communications. As with any large job, some issues arose and that's when you know if you're dealing with professionals or not. Jobe and his team took care of everything and did not cut corners. They worked with me to help me restore a historic Carthay Square Spanish Duplex and I will definitely call them again.

The young man was wonderful. They were very professional. My roof is good and he put new gauge on the flashing that needed it. He found a couple of holes and fixed those little problems. He gave me a very nice package and there was actually a follow-up call from his office. They did a very good job. My overall experience with them was great.

It was okay. I wouldn't hire them again. I had a couple of singles that were loose. They said they didn't have enough time or they didn't have the proper equipment to handle them. They did very minimal of the water proofing, it was a little bit of a struggle for him. I felt bad for him. I need a new roof, they are not an organisation I will hire.
