Jeff Miller Masonry

Jeff did an excellent job. He was punctual both for the initial meeting and look-see as well as for the actual work. I was very happy with the work and the process and would not hesitate to hire or recommend Jeff again.

Jeff was always on time and completed the project within the estimated time frame. He did an excellent job, even though the project was not an easy one. I had prepared my design for the fireplace makeover, but the original fireplace was a do-it-yourself job by the original owner, so parts of it were uneven and not level. However, Jeff was able to complete my design, and make it all work so that the fireplace is level and looks great. I couldn't be happier with the results! We are planning to re-do our back yard bar-be-que island next Spring, and we will definitely be giving Jeff a call!

I have had Jeff work on two other jobs for me in the past and he always does beautiful work, whether it is a big job or a small one. He and his crew arrive on time and all are very nice. The concrete path took 2 days to complete, including wood framing, rebar and making sure that my existing fence was protected. Jeff does meticulous work and won't consider it finished until it is perfect. He told me that the sign of a good concrete job is that no one notices it. He really takes pride in his work and it shows. Jeff and his crew always clean up so no one would ever know they had been there. I kept my garage door open so they could use the electricity and because it was a windy day, my garage had some leaves and other debris. Jeff's crew cleaned my garage even better than I would have done it. I highly recommend him.

Mr Miller showed up on time for an estimate appointment. He came on time on work day and worked until the job was completed. He cleaned up his materials etc. and left a clean drive way for us. Simple job done correctly.

Jeff was punctual and reliable. His work was good and he proceeds efficiently. Jeff is easy to communicate with if there are any problems or questions. We had some issues with completion of the job, which Jeff resolved with skill. He is neat, and obviously made an effort to minimize damage during the demo. Jeff was nice enough to remove and rehang the wrought iron patio gate. This was not easy, as this gate is heavy and he had to figure out how to hang it so it cleared the newly tiled area. We really appreciated this extra service.

The project went very well. Mr. Miller is an experienced mason and knows his craft well. He appeared at my home each of 4 days and was professional in his task. Priced reasonably. He is eager to please.

Jeff is very professional. He showed up to the every meeting with inspector. Did very good job on the concrete and the quality of work is outstanding. I do have a quote lower than jeff however, I think his rate is competitive and you get your money very well worth with the quality and his professionalism. He's always on time and does his work like he said he would. I find it kinda rare to find honest and reliable contractor as he is. Very good job Jeff. Will hire you again.

Excellent! The workers were pleasant and efficient, with Jeff working with them much of the time. We much appreciate Jeff's ingenuity and professionalism.

Jeff was wonderful! He showed up to do the estimate in the pouring rain on the weekend. He showed up on time to do the job, and finished in 2 days instead of the original estimated 3. The final cost was exactly what he said it would be, even though he had to do a little extra work to remove cement from the house. When he arrived, we asked him to do a few extra repairs around the house that we had noticed after the original estimate-he did them no problem and charged far less than expected. And there is absolutely no debris left behind, no stucco accidentally dropped on the pathway, no trash-nothing. It's like he was never there! The people we had replace some windows a while back managed to get stucco everywhere-on the hose, the water shutoff to the house, the cable box, our ladder, and all over the ground, all of which we were left to clean up ( I won't even get in to the garbage they left). Jeff left nothing. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this is as a homeowner to know that he treated my home the way he would treat his own. I feel that I can trust the quality of his work even more because I know the amount of effort he put in to just cleaning up! I will absolutely use Jeff again, and only Jeff. And Carole was also a pleasure to deal with scheduling the appointment to fit with our work schedules.

Working with Jeff and Carole was a fabulous experience. We gave Jeff conceptually what we were looking for and we couldn't be happier with the final design and end results. Jeff transformed our small, crumbling, and ugly concrete front steps and back steps creating much needed curb appeal. Jeff and his team did a fabulous job and his attention to detail and creativity created exactly what we were looking for to transform our house.

I rated this company with an overall C. They might do good work but I was never able to find out. The bid was done on April 1st, I confirmed the bid on April 2nd and requested a start date. I spent the next 24 days trying to get on their schedule and was never able to get them to commit to a start date. I placed repeated phone calls and emails and would receive calls/emails back but they could never give me an exact start date and would only tell me they would call me back the following week. After waiting as long as I did I decided to give the job to another contractor who completed the work and was 20% cheaper and performed outstanding work. It was only after the job was completed that I received an email on 4/26 telling me they could start the job the following week, 5/3. If they had only given me a confirmed start date they could have had the job, scheduling seems to be an issue as well as follow-up. At least we saved money by using someone else.

Jeff Miller and his crew handled this job properly from start to finish. Great communication with Carole Miller in the office. They completed the job on time, used quality materials, and cleaned up. Very satisfied.

Great experience all the way around. Jeff is the owner and did all the work. Showed up on time. Clear on the bidding. Had a great crew with him. Very professional with positive attitudes. He had to work around my schedule as there was plumbing work between demo and pour. Looks great.

Jeff and his crew worked a full day, kept the work area clean at all times and when the work was complete Jeff made another check to make sure nothing was left behind. Jeff started when he said he would and finished when he said he would. The new wall is absolutely beautiful and the shade of cinder block that Jeff used blends perfectly with the rest of the backyard. Both Jeff and Carole were accommodating and flexible while I worked with the insurance company and the bank to secure the payments. Not only did i find a wonderful craftsman but I found kind,trustworthy, goodhearted people as well.

They had to begin a bit later than they expected, but they arrived early every morning and worked the entire day. Jeff estimated that it would take about a week and it did.

We had some issues to resolve during the process which were all resolved amicably. Customer service and workmanship are both tops !

Jeff Miller is one of those professionals you wish hire. From his (2) on-site estimates throughout the work, he and his crew were professional, respectful, and clean. I was probably "difficult" as I was around during their work and doing some repairs myself. No problem for Jeff and his guys. They were always willing to listen and make sure I was happy with their work. You won't find a more competent and pleasurable masonry company to work with.

They showed up when they said the would, responded quickly to phone inquiries and did a great job, on time and on budget. If you need masonry work hire Jeff Miller!

Jeff and his crew arrived and promptly began to trench around the front yard in order to lay a foundation for the wall. The wall was built and looked level and the same height from start to finish which was tricky to do as we are on a hill and most of the walls at other homes show a definite reduction in height due to the slope. The work went smoothly and I have received compliments from neighbors on how the wall looks. This took several days of effort. The next project was refacing our brick fireplace with stone. After we picked the stone we wanted, Jeff picked it up and delivered it to our house. It took two days to complete the job. The brick in the hearth was removed and replaced with the stone flooring. The vertical brick facing was then covered with the stone veneer. Jeff's crew cleaned up after every visit. Jeff is very personable and is willing to make any minor adjustment without a problem. I would definitely hire him again when I need masonry work done.

In a word; HIRE HIM! He is the consummate professional. Jeff clearly loves what he does and it shows. He comes from a family of Masons and I love it when professions have a familial history. There is no detail too small for him (and believe me i am a nitpicker) and he is a total perfectionist. There was literally nothing I would ask of him or his team that they didn't do gladly. Although he may not realize it, he is an artist. He always came up with ideas and ways to make things both look and function better. He may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and I was more than thrilled with the quality of the work. I would have Jeff and his team back in a heartbeat.

He is easy to communicate with and attentive to all of my questions. He presents options and ideas. He is an excellent masoner. The work so far is excellent.

The company did a beautiful job; they were responsive, professional and exceeded our expectations. They promptly hauled away all debris. We would definitely hire Jeff Miller Masonry again for future masonry and concrete projects.

Jeff showed up on time for the est. showed up on time for the work to be performed.Did ex what he said he would do.He did excellent work as a artisan craftsman that he is,hard to come by any more.Im very pleased with the job he did.Everything was left very clean when he was done.I will use him again if i can get him again.

After several rain delays, Jeff Miller scheduled work for a Saturday that forecast clear weather. He and crew arrived on time and were very efficient in the demo work. After cleaning debris from the immediate work area, the crew formed up the area and then started mixing the concrete for the pours. After the concrete was poured, the crew started the rough finish work. The crew did not rush the completion and waited for the concrete to start setting before the final finish was started. The crew's trowel work was very impressive (My perspective as I have done small concrete jobs and never quite get the final finish I want) and showed real skill. The finished surface was excellent and blended well with the adjacent concrete sections. The final cleanup was done and only a small amout of sand and gravel was Ieft. I'm very satisfied with the work and would recommend Jeff Miller Masonry to others.
