We were prepping a parkway area along the street in front of our house for river rock and we needed about four inches of soil removed. The strip is about 100 feet long by about six feet wide. Doing the work by hand would have taken me several back breaking days and I had nowhere to put all that soil. Hauling Away showed up with a crew of four, a nice, newer dump truck and a great little Bobcat front loader. They knocked out the job in no time and did a beautiful job cleaning up. It wasn't cheap but worth every penny! Thanks, guys!

Hector was very professional. When I called to make the appointment he was organized and polite. We agreed upon the price because of the extra work involved in removing a large sofabed from an apartment building. He and his partner were punctual and efficient.

We were in the midst of an El Nino rainstorm, but Hector and company arrived and discussed the price which we were able to negotiate. We actually added more to the negotiated price because Hector was such a pleasure to work with.

spoke with hector to make arrangements for services the next day. we specifically discussed the job, estimated charges, appointment time, and exchanged contact information. i arranged my entire day to accommodate his arrival and performace of services. one half hour after the appointed time, i phoned and left a detailed message with my return phone number. never heard a word.

Hector was extremely professional. Good communication on the phone. Scheduled an appointment and he was right on time. Like everyone else says, the prices are negotiable, so be ready and willing to negotiate.

Very well. Hector and his staff started immediately to work as soon as we settled on the price. They removed all the drywall pieces from the garage, a wooden table and a counter cooktop. They also swept the garage floors and got rid off all the debris. The garages now look super clean!

Haulaway was exactly on time. I had called the night before and he was at my door the next morning at 10:00am (His words since it was Saturday he didn't want to come to early and disturb the neighbors. Even though that would be when it was starting to heat up) We negotiated a price, he is willing to work with the customer on price. They went right to work and were done within the hour.

I am thrilled with the work that they did! They finished in less than 2 hours (it took us two days to dig out the other posts) and were extremely efficient, very nice and very professional. I had random concrete from old posts laying around everywhere and they cleaned up all of those too and made sure that everything else that was either old wood or concrete was taken. Worked with Hector directly from estimate, negotiation to finish of the work.

We were looking for someone to haul away all the pieces of cabinets that we had from a small kitchen remodel (about 17 cabinets total), as well as many cardboard boxes from our move that were being stored in our one car garage. I couldn't find a dumpster service cheaper than $125, so I went on Craigslist to see if I could find a hauling company who would do it for less. I found a company willing to come, pickup and haul away for $80, which still seemed a little high considering the relatively small job. I called Hector for a second bid -- he initially quoted me $120 for filling what I estimated 1/4 of his hauling truck. I told him about the $80 bid, which he offered to come out for free and offer an estimate. He arrived in less than 20 minutes and believed he could do the entire job in his pickup truck. We haggled over $60-$70 for the job (I ended up losing) and he and his crew got to work when we settled on $70. They had to make makeshift "walls" around the sides of the bed with cabinets to contain everything, but they were able to load everything in about 15 minutes of work. Like I said, it was a small job. They left nothing larger than a playing card on the floor. One of the nice things about this company is that they attempt to repurpose or recycle whatever they can from the trash. Hector told me that the cardboard would be recycled and that the wood would be chipped and reused as compost. I am very glad that almost none of our trash would end up in a landfill.
