Hauling Away: Junk Removal Service

They arrived on time. They were polite and professional. As they removed the junk they cleaned up after themselves. I had paid for 1/4 truck and I ended up needed a full truck so I had to pay an additional $450.00.

I sent Hector an email on Friday, he replied that same day. Came out to see me on Tuesday, gave me a quote that didn't change and completed the job on Thursday! His staff was friendly, spoke with me and completed the job even earlier than expected. I will use him again for any other jobs that arise and I will definitely recommend his services.

He arrived on time, cleaned area after putting items in the truck, was very cordial, wonderful to work with. Does not usually work in Orange County but since I had signed up through Angie's list he said no problem, he would come.

It went good. They came and did what I needed them to do.

All of the personal interactions (responsiveness, courtesy, friendliness, consideration) with Patty and Hector were top notch, from initial contact, to negotiating delivery and pick-up schedules. The bin I initially wanted became unavailable, so Hector provided a larger bin at no extra charge. The bin was clean and newly painted, and he was extra careful in positioning it without marring my driveway, and getting it as close as possible to my roof, being careful of my orange trees.

Responsive, professional and did a fantastic job. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were able to come the day after I called to perform the service. Patty and her team were friendly and fast. I will definitely use them again.

They arrived on time and took away all the material. They gladly accepted an additional item I added at the last moment.

Finally am able to think about hiring painter and handyman to prepare for a sale of the property now that it is empty. There were three different men doing the job. They were polite and efficient. Only problem is that other residents were annoyed about the noise that was made going down the stairs and the noise made in the alley when they broke down some of the larger pieces of furniture with a sledge hammer. Considering the task. I think it went smoothly. My only criticism is I was not told how much more it would cost if the load exceeded the 1/4 truck space I had paid. I had little advance info, but I am glad it is over.

It went very well. They showed up on time. I had a lot of things with different sizes. They picked up everything, as I had hoped and did so in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

Two young men came and hauled off an entire garage worth of junk, they were on time and even though I used more truck than I ordered, they were able to do it. I'll use them again. Much cheaper then 1-800-Junk!!!!

They hauled away exactly what they were supposed to. They were on time and professional.

The provider took my money but did not do the work. I want a refund. I don't have much money and $150.00 is a lot to give to someone for nothing. I deserve my $150.00 back.

This was one of the top 5 of 60 Angies List providers I have ever used.

It turns out that the provider doing our construction work will acutally haul away the debris for free so this service has become unnecessary. I had left I message earlier today with the provider prior to hearing back from my contractor about the free hauling so I haven't had any interaction with them but I was intially excited about the Big Deal so I'm sure it would have gone well. I have contacted Angie's List for a refund of the Big Deal purchase.

This could not have been better I would recommend these guys anytime! I got the Angie's deal and figured like most they would come out look at my stuff and tell me that it was too much for the deal and I would have to pay more. This is how it has always happen in the past. You could knock me over with a feather when they said no problem and no extra money. They hauled away old glass mirror closet doors other junk and an old sofa. I asked if they would move the new Sofa into the place of the old one. They did it with a smile and again no extra $$. Heck they even swept and cleaned up where the junk was. I was so impressed! Great work!!!

That was fine. I had no complaints there. It was just a junk removal service, nothing stood out about it.

I am so happy that Hauling Away came to clean my garage out today. My first contact was with Javier. He was far more pleasant and communicative than you normally find over the phone in these kinds of transactions. We scheduled an appointment. However (and this is why I gave a B for punctuality) no one showed up to do the clean out as scheduled. I called Javier and he plum forgot to add my appointment to the schedule. Well, he was very apologetic and arranged to come back at any time I wanted. I rescheduled for today and his people were punctual and gave amazing service. The rate he quoted me was $240 for half a large truck. His people came with an oversized pickup and said they would do it for $150. I might have been able to work them down, but honestly I just get anxious in those situations so I sucked it up. Javier also told me he would honor a 10% off coupon from Angie's List, but I forgot and then, got stressed about having to go back and renegotiate the numbers. My problem, not theirs. The workers were fast and very careful, asking questions so as not to take something away accidentally. My garage was a disaster and I was frankly embarrassed it had become such a dumping ground. They assured me they have seen worse. When the job was done, they swept up nicely. It was as easy and pleasant an experience as I could ever hope for. If I was overcharged, it was money well spent for the level of service. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Oh, the truck they used was a bit beaten up, but I assume that's the best kind of truck for junk hauling. So if the sight of a beaten up truck in your driveway is going to bother you, it's worth asking whether all of the trucks are like that or not. My guess is they all are because it's the nature of the business. Happy Hauling!
