Craig was very prompt and came by the house before the project started. He gave us all the information we needed, including possible options, and gave us a sense he really knew work in the neighborhood. Alex and Tyler, who did the work, were very professional, personable, and happy to answer any questions I had.

We recently replaced the flooring in the master bath, removing carpet and installing CoreTec laminated flooring. The flooring installers removed and then replaced the toilet to get the best fit for the snap-in flooring. Some days after the work, the base of the toilet started leaking. We turned off the water inlet, flushed the toilet to clear the remaining water and called Craig's Plumbing. As it was not an emergency (we have two other bathrooms), we agreed to next day service. The plumber arrived during the 2-hour window after calling us that he was on his way. After a brief inspection, he pulled the toilet and showed us that the wax seal had been damaged and was leaking. The flooring installers should have replaced the wax seal when they installed the new flooring, as a good installation practice. The plumber replaced the wax seal (cost $13), reseated and repeatedly tested the toilet. He noticed a small leak under the tank and found that a bolt holding the tank to the base was loose; a quick tightening fixed the leak. He also checked our two other bathrooms and found no problems. He was courteous, clearly explained what he was doing and why, and, generally, was a very pleasant fellow. We'll add Craig's Plumbing to our speed dial for future needs!

They did an excellent job from start to finish. Dealing with them was such a pleasure and I would have no hesitation in using them again. I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Showed up next day with his crew promptly when promised and work completed in the promised timeframe. The crew was very professional and nice to deal with and provided before and after pictures of the work. The owner called the evening the work was completed to do a customer satisfaction review.

In our household there are no handymen; knowledge of home repairs, reasonable costs, and associated details are completely outside of our wheelhouse. So, calling in service for small things — clogged drains, faulty appliances, etc. — creates stress and worry. When it came time to find a provider for what felt like an insurmountably huge project — a complete copper re-pipe of our ancient galvanized plumbing — we went through dead-end conversations and quoting with three different plumbers and one general contractor before finally joining Angie’s list and reaching out to Craig’s Plumbing. As a trial run we had them come out to do some emergency drainage work and, based on that positive experience, we asked them to do our re-pipe. The experience was positive from start to finish. Here are some key points: • Craig is very responsive. Send him a question and there is always an answer within 24 hours and often within 24 minutes. • Communication on all relevant components of the job — price, what’s covered and what’s not, when you’ll have water and when you won’t, how long things will take — are straightforward and professional • The quality of work is good (or at least it sure seems so to me; as mentioned I’m no expert and therefore can’t speak to this subject with any authority, but I can tell you that the water in my house has gone from a pathetic trickle to a river-like flow) • The people on his team are friendly, helpful, and professional In all, we couldn’t have been luckier to have found such a great service provider to work on what was, for us, a scary and intimidating project. While we don’t anticipate a frequent need for a plumber anymore, we have found our new go-to solution for when the time arises.

Craig is a smart and seasoned plumber who understands how to get the job done. We used Craig?s plumbing to install a new copper water line for our apartment building. The old water line was leaking and was located under a concrete area crossing multiple car ports. This was a pretty large job. Craig recommended a pipe location detection test to be certain where the water line is located under the concrete. This was a good call because it helped us feel confident that we won?t miss a section of pipe that could affect our tenants when we cross over to the new water line. This particular water line affects all of our tenants so it was very important to have a solid plan on the installation and the process. The job was to take 3 days and it did in fact take 3 days. The day we crossed over from the old to the new water line, all went well. The job was handled professionally with attention to details. I will use Craig?s plumbing for future jobs at our properties and I highly recommend him and his crew.

When Adolf first arrived at our house, I did not know how it would go because I felt he expressed a lot of doubt in repairing the minuscule gap at the base of the kitchen sink spout where water would leak through from the top of the sink drain. And I had originally spoke with Craig about this over the phone prior, where I felt that there was confidence in being able to address this issue. Having said this, looking back at the entirety of the work done, and the professionalism in how it was done, and how personable Adolf was, Craig's Plumbing earned all A's. Adolf did arrive at our house a little late (by only 20 min which for busy contractors, is pretty good time in our book), and had to pick up parts as part of the job (I noticed he did not bill us for this time to pick up parts). But as he worked through the various tasks in repairing our kitchen sink, he showed us how the parts worked that he was repairing, and how they might break down that could result in the same problems we were experiencing. So for the leak at the base of the kitchen spout, as well as for any parts above the sink, there isn't a whole lot of water proofing that is built into these parts. I expected to see rubber washers that would tightly fit, but this is not how spouts are installed (at least the one we have), or even in the air gap or sink cap that was installed. So from what he had to work with, Adolf had tightly fit each of these parts in, along with plenty of plumbers putty, and we felt comfortable with what was done there. For the drain leak under the sink, there was a missing slip washer, which he installed. And for the dishwasher drain, he disconnected the drain and cleared it. He tested everything before he left, which appeared fairly thorough, including running part of the dishwasher drain cycle, and after this he cleaned up, and prepared the invoice. In being present for most of the job, we felt Adolf was very knowledgeable and diligent, and completed all of these tasks noted in this review in about 2 hours (this excludes time to pick up parts). In addition, we found Craig himself to be very responsive, and felt he was on top of everything. We are happy with the work done, and how it was done, and would recommend Craig's plumbing to family and friends, and would use their services again.

This is a professional plumbing service with years of experience. It is evident. They reviewed the premises and gave a fair estimate. They inspected everything well in advance of the work to be done. They arrived promptly. My wife had confidence in them and felt quite at ease with them being in our home. Plain and simple...these guys know their stuff, have a good service ethic, understand their customer and are just nice people. I recommend them highly.

On Sunday night our shower backed up leaving about 2 inches of water in the shower. I snaked the line for about 25 feet but no luck fixing the clog. I checked on Angie's List and found Craig's Plumbing. At about 9:30 p.m., I went to Craig's website and filled out the contact form. At 6:43 the next morning Craig called and told me he could get someone out at 8:00 a.m. I asked that the plumber call 10 minutes before so I could get our dogs in the backyard. I received a call at 7:49 a.m. letting me know that the plumber was on the corner waiting for me so I could put the dogs in the backyard. They showed up about 5 minutes later. A plumber [Alex] and his assistant [Arturo] listened to my description of the problem, inspected the shower and then went outside and found the one of the cleanouts was backing up. The clean out had been buried and Alex dug it out so he could access it. They ran a snake about 75 feet to where the lateral line hits the main, and cleaned out a bunch of roots. Just to make sure they got it all and the line was cleared, they ran the snake to the main two more times. I've had other plumbers come out and snake the main and usually after the clog is fixed, the just stopped. After fixing the clog, Alex cleaned up and made sure that the work area was clean. He replaced the rubber gasket in the clean out cap and left it exposed for easy future access.

We just had Craig come and do the set-up for a washer and dryer and the whole experience was great. We had gotten several bids and Craig's bid was by far the most reasonable. They were also fast and considerate of our house while getting the job done. We will never use another plumbing company and have referred Craig's plumbing to several of our friends.

I ran into issues almost immediately. My drain lines had been replaced incorrectly (amongst other illegal repairs) and, as a result, my downstairs neighbor was required to open up HIS bathroom walls in order to correct the issues. Obviously, this extended my remodel FAR longer than I had planned for, but Craig and his guys were amazing throughout the entire process. He even came out to meet with both the inspector and my downstairs neighbor to ensure everything proceeded according to plan. I highly recommend him for any and all plumbing issues!

Stop your search and call these guys now. I just got off the phone with them about our failing garbage disposal. They were up front with me about costs, recommended ways that I could save money, and even talked to me about the pros and cons of attempting to do it myself. After speaking with several other plumbers, I can tell you that this kind of honesty is unheard of in the this business.

The service was impeccable, from first contact (picked up after 3 rings) to last (summary of work and payment). I'm delighted to have found this service and will use them again when and if the need arises. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect was how Craig was absolutely true to his word and reliable; when he said he would do something at a certain time, then that is exactly what he would do, and when he would do it.

Craig answered the phone on my first call (which few plumbers seem to do). He got someone over here on the same day and was flexible about the time. The plumber was very nice and fixed our problem in less than an hour. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely hire them in the future.

After finding this provider on Angie's List, Craig responded promptly to my call and came to look at the shower faucets which needed new insides. After determining that replacement parts for our 20 year old faucets were not available, he suggested upgrading (and bringing into code) by putting in a thermostatic mixer with one central control. Advised what to buy. We ordered the in-the-wall component and trim. Nelson came and opened the walk-in-closet wall to access the shower controls and installed the new unit. He also took out some of the shower tiles. This was a complicated and precise installation between the tile wall and the closet wall. He did an excellent job. It took several hours to do, and he cleaned up after himself, although there was tile dust remaining. It was expensive compared to other plumbing repairs I have had done in other units, but Craig said Nelson was his best man, and when I saw how unforgiving the space was, I felt it was money well spent. Retrofitting is so difficult, some plumbers I have spoken with won't do it, and only want to do new construction or installation. When the backordered trim arrived Nelson put it on to confirm the fit. We are now waiting for tile to arrive to get tile replaced around the new trim. The wallboard cut out was fixed today by a very capable handyman Craig recommended. I really appreciated Craig's responsiveness to text and phone calls. I was always able to confirm or change plans easily. His recommendations for tile and wall repair in connection with this plumbing repair were excellent also. He had the complete project well in hand.

I bought a Big Deal, got an appointment within a day or two, and the job was done quickly.

Craig and team are great. Easy to get a hold of, clear communication, and each portion of the project was explained clearly. From the get-go, we knew we could trust Craig. We initially thought we had to deal with the city's sewage line, and during our first phone call to Craig, he recommended another company that was licensed to work on city plumbing. That was refreshing to hear that he wasn't just going to take any job for the $$$. That sort of honesty continued throughout the entire project. He didn't try to sell us on anything that we didn't need. Craig and team continually made honest recommendations. The entire job took about 3.5 days and he explained how each step of the project would go. We received daily updates and he sent photographs of each phase without us having to ask for them. His pricing is also very fair. We shopped around and there were cheaper options (and more expensive ones as well) but we didn't feel like we could get the same level of service and communication as we did with Craig. Would definitely work with him again in the future for big and/or small plumbing needs.

I went to visit my daughter in Los Angeles and she reported that there was no hot water. She called the gas company....they came and said that there was a gas leak and then proceeded to shut off all the gas appliances and said that it would remain off until a plumber could find and fix the leak....no indication where. I took to Angie's list on my laptop and found a coupon for Craig's plumbing and looked at his ratings and comments. I called and talked directly to Craig about the problem, asked if he could handle such a situation. He said he could and came out the next day. Long story shorter...there were some issues with the gas company but Craig and staff were very creative, informative and efficient. They had to return a second day and arrived with a specific plan for dealing with the issues and gave me the Angie's price for the second day and finished the job in an hour. I found Craig and his team to be resourceful, competent, personable and reasonably priced. Their information will remain with my daughter In Los Angeles for any future plumbing issues that may arise. We would strongly recommend Craig's Plumbing.

They did a good job considering that water ran back into line from the house so they couldn't solder it until he went under the house to open the 3/4" line and drain the water from under the house. It took 4 hours to perform this work, good people!
