CRAIG'S PLUMBING

Overall really well. The tech was late due to a flat tire, but they contacted me to let me know about the delay. The blockage was cleared out. In evaluating the leaky faucet he said there was a part required that may be hard to find. He hustled calling a few locations and was able to secure a part and complete the repair in that same visit.

The service person that came out Alex... He came over in the time range estimated, and he was very courteous. I was impressed right away because I've had issues with clogged drains periodically, but Alex was the first plumber that ever did the most obvious thing required first, and that was to go under the house and map out how the pipes were laid out. Other plumbers would simply go to the nearest "clean outs" and start rooting. When Alex completed his work, he cleaned up his worksite and left things spotless.

They were responsive. They contacted me back quickly. They showed up on time. The tax was respectful and professional with their work. All those things were positive. If I were going to give them a review, I would give them a favorable review except for pricing. I wasn’t aware with the hour they rate. I was surprise with how long it took and with the total charge ended up being with more than the original cost of purchase and install a garbage disposal.

It went great. I could never ask for a better response. I called Craig's Plumbing, and within 60 minutes he was onsite resolving the leak, called with an update, and was all wrapped up.

My toilet supply line had sprung a slow leak within the wall. I called Craig's plumbing 24/7 line from their website at 3:30 a.m. and received a callback from the owner, Craig, at 6 a.m. and a visit for 8-8:30 a.m. was scheduled. (Since DWP had come around at 5 a.m. to shut off the water supply at the curb because my mains wouldn't shut completely, the leak was temporarily stopped and the situation was not an absolute emergency.) Craig arrived at 8:15 (normally he doesn't do calls but today was an exception), assessed the situation from the toilet side of the wall and told me he'd cap the line for now so that I could have access to water (I have 3 other toilets, so no big deal if not fixed today). However, when he accessed the leak through a hole in the wall (a closet wall that backed onto the bathroom), he realized he could easily fix it on the spot. He identified the problem as an incomplete solder when the pipe had been added a few years ago when a non-plumber had moved the toilet. He cut out the badly soldered portion (impossible to fix/solder when still in the wall) and replaced it with a longer piece of pipe, which was a plus because the prior pipe was much too short where it stuck out of the wall to link to the valve. Now it will be much easier to turn off if I ever need to do so. He cleaned up the drywall, he was very conservative about the amount he had to knock out of the wall. As the drywall was moist, he advised me to leave a fan on to help it dry out. He was done by 9:40 a.m. and I had my water back on. I'm very happy that I called Craig's plumbing. I felt that he was not there to make a large profit; he was there to help me and charge a fair price. He was really focused and efficient, but also very personable. I would highly recommend his company's services.

The team showed up right on schedule. Two guys had the work done within the day and exactly as promised. A week later, when other construction was done, we moved the W/D into place and found one of the connections wasn't log enough and Craig had his team out the same day to make the change (free of charge). Now the W/D is in place, all connected up.

It was fine, he was matter-of-fact.

I telephoned Craigs Plumbing to install a new toilet as soon as possible. My regular plumber couldn't come out for 3-4-days. Craig told me that he would send two plumbers out the next day at 8am. The next day at exactly 8am Shawon & Erick arrived. They installed the toilet, cleaned up the bathroom area, and hauled away the old one. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I found Craig's Plumbing on Angie's list and decided to give him a try. Craig called me back within 5 minutes. He came out the next day, at the time promised, to evaluate the problem. Craig is a down-to-earth guy and obviously very experienced. On leak #1 he suggested I attempt a do-it-yourself fix in order to save money, with the alternative being a very costly re-do of piping and potential replacement of a tub/shower. With leak #2, he narrowed down the location and source of the leaking pipe, which was hard to get to, but nevertheless was able to successfully replace and repair a few days later. His worker, Sean, was professional and conscientious. I give Craig's Plumbing high marks and would use him again.

They called to speak with me about the work. They asked where I was located and said that it was quite a distance, but they would get back to me. I have not heard from them.

He was wonderful. He is very honest. He came out when he said he was going to come out. He told me excatly what the problem was and also showed it to me. The workers who came out where very efficient, did the job and did exatcly what they said they were going to do. The cost was what they said it was going to be. I had to call again another time for something else and he came right out. He didn't even want to charge me for the second time. He did a great job with good materials. He was very receptive to my needs and he cared. He is on my quick dial now.

A toilet tune-up became a toilet rebuild became a toilet replacement - with hours of waiting, wrong-sized equipment, and a loose toilet. At least it flushes now. Great thing - nice people and they came for a follow-up on Saturday (at 10 when they said 8 am) so I wasn't without a toilet all weekend. Bad things - the tune-up didn't work, there was no credit given when it turned into a replacement, I literally waited hours on Friday for any contact (missing an important meeting at work), when I tried the numbers on the invoice the voicemail didn't even give a name so I wasn't certain I was even contacting the right place, communication was very lacking, and I'll have to have the toilet re-done anyway because the screws in the base are already loosening so it moves when I sit on it, plus the plastic caps over the screws are too short (a screw is coming up through one, and the other isn't secured at all). Nice guys, and I appreciate the Saturday finish since I had 18 people coming for a party at 1 pm! but it was not a good experience and I would not recommend them, nor would I use them again.

The company never reached out to me to schedule the work so I went with some one else.

Great - suggested problem may be due to Softner requiring service. They were exactly right! Now water pressure is perfect. If that did not work they were willing to come back and replace the regulator.

Craig and his team showed up on time and did the preliminary check with the camera; Craig let us look at the entire length of the clean out, so we could see all the build up. Craig then left his team to do the root removal -- which they did in just under 1 hour! We have used Craig before and will definitely call him again. I have confidence knowing that Craig is honest and reliable.

He was very good and expensive. He knows his business and plumbing. He was pleasant and punctual. He was able to come up with solutions.

They were able to diagnose the problem quickly, gave me exactly what I needed to purchase a new faucet, told me why I was having the problem. No other plumber I had in in the past two years was able to say why the faucet leaked and was lose.

We had a plumber come in and quote $1500 in plumbing services and referred us to a water damage restoration company who quoted us $2800. After spending the day calling numerous plumbers and cleanup services, I spoke to Craig and knew from his straight shooter/analytical diagnosis of the problem that he was the person to give us an honest evaluation. He came in on short notice (literally an hour) and helped us out so much. He charged $165 and the cleaning company that he referred us to charged us $980. Craig saved us over $3,000. He is not one of those plumbers who take advantage of the situation and try to extract as much out of you as possible. I am so grateful that I met him and would recommend his services to anyone. The world needs more professionals like Craig!

I had some major issues with the company. He could not find the part to work on the faucet and said he could not do the work. I tried calling them 3-4 times to just replace the faucet. He eventually stopped responding to me. He never came out to my home to take a look and asked me to send a picture of the faucet. He did refer me to another company who may be able to help. I did end up using another company and never used the deal.

He has come out to help with a problem with a main shut off valve. He did that for free and let me hold on to the deal until I could use it for it's full value.

I sent three dates. He never suggested anything else except to state he was going on vacation.

I called Craig to discuss tankless water heaters. My own (tank) water heater went out and I had to replace it. I thought about getting a tankless, and called several plumbers to get their opinions and get a feel if I'd like to do business with them. Craig was very helpful. I was nobody to him yet he told me his opionions regarding tankless, he gave me the pros and the cons, he gave me estimated costs to help me make a decision. He was SO very nice and took the time to discuss my questions. I was convinced that if I went that route, I'd employ Craig to do the job. Thank you so much, Craig. I'll see you when I need a plumber! (I've since decided to buy another tank water heater, bought and installed by Sears.)

Very Well. They even told me how to correct other plumbing problems, for free. Very honest.

I've used Craig before and been very happy. When I called him this (Monday) morning, he text back to say he was out of town, but that his guys would be in touch. I was a little nervous because I've only dealt with Craig personally in the past, but I should have had no fear: Noor was every bit as wonderful as Craig! He had one other job before mine (not a surprise with a new call on a Monday morning), but he still arrived earlier than he promised. He called first to make sure it was ok to come early, too. He snaked the drain, pulling out multiple roots and clearing up the problem that had effected our shower, tub and washing machine drains. He also looked at our toilet problem (1 time out of 10 it won't refill automatically) and made a quick adjustment. Overall, we were very pleased with the service. I should have know that Craig would hire only the best and nicest!

Fast service. The two plumbers that did the work were exellent. On time for both days.I will use them for any future plumbing problems.
