Description of Work: Very nice guy on phone! He showed up but said bolts to table weren't delivered so he couldn't put together! So I paid you guys and table is still on floor not put together!!

Description of Work: put tile on garage floor half paint inside walls move refrig 2 shelves in laundry room everything has to be done over very disappointed.

Description of Work: Barry was on time, friendly, helpful, resourceful and competent. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him to family and friends.....in fact we already have. |He hauled the washer and dryer to the second floor and installed them. He installed the ice and water lines to the refrigerator after replacing a part and purchasing the needed equipment. He hauled a mattress to the second floor and set up the bed. He moved furniture. He did need to bring a second guy to help with all the heavy lifting...but we understood that given the stairs and the weight of the projects. He advised us about future projects. When we need help in the future he will be our first call when we need a handyman.

Description of Work: Nothing, I pre-paid for services and Barry never had the decency to contact me through Angie's List or when I emailed and called him directly.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for four hours of handyman services. Everyone I have used from Angie’s List has been a disappointment. I have never had a good experience.

Description of Work: Installed 2 closets and a garbage disposal. Barry was great he even went and pick up extra parts and didn't even charge me for them. I would recommend him again.

Description of Work: I contacted Mr. Davis to install a kitchen faucet on 4/3/14 and we agreed upon a time in the afternoon. Unfortunately he did not show and I received no curtesy call for an explanation of why or an inquiry to possible reschedule (I have voicemail). Everyone's time is valuable -- not to be wasted. If you cannot perform a requested service, just inform the potential client that you are unavailable -- simple as that.

Description of Work: I called Barry to come and give me an estimate on an exterior plumbing job. He called me 2 hours prior to appointment time saying he'd be late because he was in traffic. I told him it was fine if he was late, but then he did not act like he wanted to come at all that day and proceeded to tell me that I could wait a few days. I asked him to please come and give me an estimate this evening and he said he would, then he never showed up and did not call again.

Description of Work: The plumber was okay, though the toilet still leaks. He should have replaced the flapper.

Description of Work: Called on Monday 7/23. Told them I lived in Laplace. No mention was made of a fee to come out here. Explained that I had a leak in a diverter valve in one of the bathrooms and needed it looked at to get an estimate. Told me he would call the next morning to schedule a time. Was told that I had an appointment and would be leaving by 2 that day. At noon I called him as I had not heard anything. He could not find the card where he had written my contact information. Got the zip code and directions. Around 3 that day he called my roommate and told her that he could not make it out here, he didn't realize we were in Laplace. Told her that it would be more convenient if he came on the weekend but that there would be a charge for him to come out here.

Description of Work: Barry was great, he was able to come fix our toilet leak on a Friday, so we wouldn't be without a toilet all weekend. On time, very courteous, clean and fast. He was in an out in under 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Description of Work: STOPPED MY WATER FROM LEAKING IN TWO BATHROOMS. SATISFIED CUSTOMER. WOULD CALL HIM AGAIN IF NEEDED.

Description of Work: Excellent work! Barry Davis Plumbing arrived on time and went straigth to work. Completed estimates for 3 projects, installed 3 shower heads, adjusted an electrical hot water heater in the attic, and replaced a defective kitchen facet all within a hour's time. Super job! the price was a bargain as well in comparison to other plumbing estimates!

Description of Work: Complete replacement of all bathroom fixtures; installation of new cut-off valves; and assisted in other aspects of renovation of bathroom.
