Description of Work: I am sad to write this review because I believe these 2 ladies are a small business, and are trying to get going, however, if I were a potential customer, I would not want this to go without mentioning. | |As you may be aware, I purchased the housecleaning services on Mon, 29Aug16. It was late evening when I made the online purchase, so I did not expect to hear anything from Catalina until the day, about noon. Much to my surprise, no word from Catalina the entire next day. | |On Wed, 31Aug16, at approx. 8:30am, I emailed Catalina requesting a confirmation of 1 of the 3 days/times I listed as possible times for the service. At approx. 6:30pm, I receive a voicemail message from Vickie, on behalf of Catalina, requesting that I call her to schedule the service. | |On Thu, 01Sep16, at approx. 8:48pm, I sent a text to Vickie giving new available days of Sun, Mon or Tue. | |On Fri, 02Sep16, at approx 9:03am, Vickie replied "We have Tuesday". I replied, "Ok. 10am? If not, what time do u have available on Tue?" | |On Sat, 03Sep16, Vickie replied "We are coming from 8-9am". We agreed on 06Sep16, and Vickie's suggested start time of "8-9am". I thought it was strange, and wondered why a specific time was not given, as opposed to window start time, but still I agreed. | |On Sun, 04Sep16, Vickie texted me to ask my address, which I gave her, but wondered why she did not already have that info from the online system. About 30 mins later, she asked if I wanted them to come tomorrow (Mon), instead of Tue. I replied that Mon was no longer convenient for me, and if Tue was a problem, then please suggest another day to reschedule. She then replied back, "Ok, we can come Tuesday". | |I guess I should have known better by this time that this was not going to work out, but I was thinking that they are a small, start up, and that I would not be too harsh by comparing them to a big company. | |On Tue, 06Sep16, I was up early and waiting for Catalina and Vickie. 8am came and went; 9am and came and went; 10am, 11am, 12pm, ok, now I'm upset. I understand they may be running late, or had car trouble, or what have you, but to be so disrespectful of MY time, by not even calling or texting, is totally inexcusable. | |I had to leave to run errands, however, I felt no obligation or desire to call them because I felt it was their responsibility to honor their commitment to provide this service and build credibility of their brand the Angie's List brand. | |At approx. 1:38pm, I receive a text message from Vickie, "We're here". I did not even reply. What a nerve!! You are 5 hours late. You did not bother to even call or text, and now you just show up. Well, I wasn't there, and wasn't interested to even acknowledge them. If this is the level of business sense you have, I don't want you to clean my house, or even pick up dog poop from my yard. I am not interested to do business with Catalina and/or Vickie, and would like a full refund. I will clean my own house.
