Description of Work: He did an excellent job. He has had a lot of experience installing devices for the disabled.

Description of Work: Neil did a little bit of everything for us. He installed our new shower fixtures, plumbed our sink, installed two different closet doors and set floor moulding. The work was well done and Neil was a pleasure to have in our house.

Description of Work: He did some painting, caulking, fixed shower so it did not leak onto floor anymore. Very nice guy. Have used him a number of times now.

Description of Work: I had an appointment set with the contractor and for the afternoon. A little bit past our set appointment time he called and advised he was still pretty far away and would not be able to get to me for about an hour. I advised that this was a bit late for us, and rescheduled for another day. We agreed on a new date and time. When that day arrived, the contractor did not show and did not call.

Description of Work: I had a broken window pane in an old wooden framed window that I needed to replace. Neil told me that because of the time involved in obtaining supplies etc. he might be too expensive for me and recommended a local glass company that provided service with all supplies for this type of work on their truck. I called them. Job done. Thank you Neil for your help and yes I will call you next time I have any handyman needs.

Description of Work: He did a bunch of handyman repairs. He fixed a drain, and a toilet that was running, he also fixed an exterior stucco work. He also did some cabinet and some locksmithing work.

Description of Work: Had a Weber gas BBQ that no longer would light even with direct match to grill. Unit had not been serviced since purchased new 5 yrs ago. 310Handyman (Neil Hassman) responded to message next day and came that afternoon to service the unit. Hassman proceeded to totally disassemble the grill. When it had been functioning, the level of flame was low. After completion of service, he felt the flame still could be more pronounced and suggested an alternative gas cylinder option as well as lava rock sheet for better heat dispursment. I called Hassman because of his proximity to my residence and his Angie rating...which he uses as a discount device (@appx 20% below his initially quoted hourly rate.) The rate was not inexpensive but certainly better than one other Angie source that wanted more than double the rate charged by Hassman. He's a former contractor who went off to the corporate world and came back to a hands-on entrepreneurial life style. He has a very thorough and a "let's see what this does" approach to things mechanical. He's been around the block, is intelligent, articulate, and basically a pleasant experience in a world of service people who are none of t he above.

Description of Work: Neil did the following for us over a few weeks' time: - Built raised planter boxes in our small front courtyard - Installed an exterior electrical outlet for a future water fountain (and plastered the wall where he had to poke a hole) - On the interior he troubleshooted a non-working fan-light fixture and a problem where two lights were on one switch - He hung shelves and a mirror perfectly in 1940's house I cannot recommend Neil more highly. He is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious. He listened carefully to my directions, explained issues/solutions thoroughly and communicated well with me. Neil worked hard and efficiently. Also, he is honest and will tell you when something is beyond his expertise as he did with a bathroom plumbing problem I asked him to take a look at. Description of Work: He did a concrete patch on a balcony and painted it. He also changed a malfunctioning electrical toilet and fixed a toilet. He spent a lot of time helping me with something he couldn't fix as well.

Description of Work: I needed three drawers fixed that had come off their tracks, a fairly simple job. Fortunately I had bought the plastic pieces but needed help installing.

Description of Work: We needed the fence gate repaired, window miniblinds replaced, back door secured, ignition switch on our grill fixed, and repointing on our brickwall.

Description of Work: He was able to cut down a shelving unit and reconfigure a butcher board top. Mount a shelf in the kitchen and replace all switch covers in my apt.

Description of Work: Neil fixed a propane fire pit that we had just assembled that did not work. The company that manufactured it was difficult to get in touch with and we just wanted it to work.

Description of Work: Every time something breaks I call Neil. He's fixed my kitchen cabinets, table and step stool, my bed, front door and several windows, as well as unclogged my drains and re-attached everything from toilet paper holders to towel hooks. I'd entrust Neil with anything from drywall and painting to weather-stripping and electrical work. Ever since my handy husband died, Neil's my man.

Description of Work: We had extensive damage in our home due to an overflowing bathtub. After one cleanup crew said we were ready, Neil advised us to check for mold. We called in an expert who found the mold and did more demolition. Neil then repaired two bedrooms, master bathroom, master closet, and hallways. The work entailed drywalling areas that had previously been lathed and plastered and making it match, installing new insulation, patching, painting, custom painting two bedrooms and the master bathroom, painting around custom cabinets in the master closet, repairing "vintage" windows, and generally doing anything and everything that needed to be done to restore the house.
