Everything went well. They called before they came and actually arrived ahead of the projected time they had originally given us. We've had trouble in past years with that sink due to the shape of the pipes, clean-out, etc., but they performed the service pretty quickly and efficiently. We haven't had any other issues with that sink since their visit. It was definitely a positive experience, and even though their prices for other quoted work seemed a little on the high side, I'm sure we would consider hiring them again.

They were very prompt. Put down a drop cloth to keep work area clean.cleared the clog in a timely manner. Even connected the stopper which had become disconnected

The leak had been discovered when they were replacing the over flow drain and toggle switch - in the master bathroom - their diligence inspecting the second drain (on their own) saved me a great deal of future expense. It was a two man operation with one man under the house fixing the drain and the other replacing the fixtures - they work exceedingly quickly and were done in an hour - they completely cleaned up after themselves - and provided a 10% Angie discount - I found Josh and Mike to be professional; neat and clean - they were extremely friendly and advised on other issues that I needed to watch out for.

The man who came out has been to our house before. The last couple of times he comes across irritated and judgmental that we call them out for the same reason. It's not our fault we can't afford a brand new line, or a new toilet right now. Besides, the price he quoted us for a new toilet is not reasonable. So, we are going to go with another company.

I called the Family Plumber after reading reviews on Angie's List. This was probably either late May or early June, I don't have the exact date on hand. They answered the phone in a very professional manner. Was told I'd get a call back to confirm a time they were available. I was called back as promised and they came out the same day. I had them deal with a pipe that had come loose and was leaking water all under the sink. Also I had a garbage disposal issue that needed addressing. They took care of both on the same day. I actually had the garbage disposal not working for a few months and had left it alone because I was afraid the cost would be too great. So when I developed the leak that needed immediate fixing I went ahead and asked them to take a look at both. I was not home when they came because of work so my mom came over to let them in. My mom was there and she told me they were very nice. My mom speaks predominantly Spanish and speaks with a heavy accent in English so she's embarrassed and avoids it when possible. The only thing that would have made them even better was bilingual capabilities. However, my mom is a bit of a nit picker and she had good things to say about the plumbers. They get an A++ in my book. I would definitely use them again!

Family Plumber was exceptional! Took care of everything and helped me stave off potential future damage. Explained everything so that even I could understand it. Attention to detail and fous on Customer was superb! BONUS - Cleaned out dryer lint build up near Water Heater. Heard a leaky valve in my Sprinkler System and gave me the heads up. Has Sprinkler Repair guy come out the next day and fix it

It went very well. I told him that the water heater was making noses. He came out and told me that it was about to go out and it needed to be replaved.

it turned out to be a simple problem,the overflow pipe had moved and was emptying on the floor instead of into the drain.

Very pleased with service and how fast they got to my house. They helped me out of a big mess as I attempted to do the job myself and made a bigger problem because of it. The Family Plumber saved the day.

Vicki in the office was wonderful and courteous on the phone. She set up an appointment with an hour window. About 5 minutes later she called me back with an earlier time, which was great. Rick came out quickly. He listened to my issues, brought his equipment out and did the job quickly. He was very courteous and professional. The cost was less than I expected and I got an Angies List discount on top of that. I will definitely be calling The Family Plumber again when I need their services. They were awesome to work with!

They were very careful and cut as small a hole as possible. They were also very careful to save the pieces of flagstone to reuse. An unexpected crisis happened that enlarged the job from the original issue and they were fantastic in the way they worked through the problem. Their repairs were excellent, they cleaned up everywhere they worked, they were smart and friendly. We will always use their services.

THE FAMILY PLUMBER did an excellent analyses BEFORE doing any work. We were shown everything, and the owner came out to review the plan. That was clearly the best part of the job from our point of view. They used a camera to inspect the pipes and showed us everything that they found. They discovered 2 major problems. One, a previous plumber tried to seal the leak by injecting a plastic sealer. That came loose and blocked the pipes. It could not be removed. Second, the flow of the pipes was at the wrong grade. Therefore, the liquids could never completely drain and then caused a back pressure to blow out the seals of the toilets, over and over. This was caused by an earlier repair to the sub floor which made it impossible to correctly install drain pipes. Related to that, the drain from one toilet was directly opposed to the other toilet, so when the drain became plugged it force the drainage from one toilet into the next. The plumbers replaced all of the drainage from the toilets down the wall to the exit from the home. In addition, they changed the diameter of the entry drain (still within code) to allow for a downward grade. They also offset the drain pipes from each toilet and used an angle that directed the flow toward the exit pipe. They removed and replaced all of the plugged pipes from the subfloor to the wall, and used a camera to ensure that it was corrected. Finally, they checked out and corrected all mountings and connections. The job was completed exactly when promised and on budget. They checked out everything and asked us to do the same for the next few weeks. We did that, and no problems whatsoever. The only downside for us is that all of the structure work is still left to be done, but they do not do that kind of work, but they did give us referrals. We have not done that repair work yet, because we wanted to be sure that the repair job permanently fixed the problems. We monitored the results for about 3 months, and there have been no problems whatsoever. The cost was a little higher than we have paid before, but the results justify the investment. We are very pleased with the work and gladly use this company again or recommend it to our friends and family.

The plumber did the job in less time and charged less than the estimate. The plumber did everything that was needed and was very knowledgably about the details of the plumbing in my house.

They were able to come out earlier than expected, got right to the route of the problem in the main line, and actually made the line more accessible for the future with a more accessible point and new plug. They then were able to quickly unclog the pipes, get the bathtub to drain, and even provide an estimate for redoing the tie-in pipes to prevent future clogging. All the work was done in less than an hour and it was quick and affordable.

We've used the family plumber several times. They are friendly, respond to calls quickly and do good work. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience with them. They were helpful, honest, very knowledgeable and they had an average price. We will use them again in the future.

Called about 10am when we discovered the leak. Courteous and efficient receptionist said she would call me back if she could get me on the schedule for today. She called back in a few minutes and said someone would be at our home between 12 and 1pm. She called back about 11:30am and said someone could come now if we were available. I think the plumber's name was Josh. He was competent and friendly. He replaced 3 shut off valves and installed a new faucet. Everything works great. Will use this company for any future plumbing needs.

Overall, I'm really happy with the work done. I was having water hammer in my kitchen and Rick from The Family Plumber told me that my water pressure was too high and that I really needed a regulator to protect my plumbing. I also told him I wanted to be able to shut off the house and sprinkler valves separately and he said he would re-plumb to give me what I wanted. Rick came out the day after I called to give me an estimate. He was able to perform the work in the coming days and did so as promised. He was polite, efficient, and helpful. I would definitely use The Family Plumber again for any plumbing issues.
