Nick came out when I had an emergency and was very friendly and did a good job in a short time. He was professional and good about explaining things.

It was a Saturday call so it was double time which I thought was a little much. I've used them on multiple occasions.

When the technician came to give me an estimate, he told me to call the makers of the part to have it replaced (under lifetime warranty) so he didn't have to charge me for it. When he came back after the part arrived, he was early for the appointment. Everything went well and my faucet no longer leaks.

Steven came asked me a few question and got right to work replacing the disposal. My wife and family are very happy the sink is working. Thanks

Work done was very professional and within the time frame as estimated. Technician was very easy to communicate with. There was one follow up item that needed to be addressed.......company gladly came back to hand the item with no problem. Will definitely use this company in the future for any future plumbing problems.

Everything was fixed quickly and efficiently, even waited for me to run to the store to swap out a damaged piece of my new faucet. Work was done when they said it would and everything looks great!

The plumber was very friendly and did a fast and professional job. He even installed a new kitchen faucet that we purchased before the service that we considered getting installed. He completely understood all the things we wanted done and took care of them.

They repaired some piping, replaced my water heater, installed a toilet, and installed washer and refrigerator hook ups for me. I called three different plumbers and this company was the only one that took their time to provide me with a thorough and competitive bid. They also provided me with a clear understanding of my options and cost saving alternatives.

The technician looked under the house and found that the toilet wax ring was leaking during flush cycle and water was traveling in the floor substrate under the tiles to the baseboard. Due to a 20+ yo toilet, I elected to change it out and the problem was resolved. Note: Owner repaired/replaced and painted baseboards.

They came out because I was having an odor coming from the sink that smelled like coffee grounds. They came out and inspected to make sure there were no known major issues. I was satisfied and I would highly recommend them.

When I called I was able to schedule service right away and they gave me a small time frame to wait. I was worried since it was the holidays. Gabe, the technician came within the time frame. He was professional and courteous. I showed him what the problem was and he explained what he needed to do. He was thorough, and he made sure the problem was resolved before he left. I would definitely use this service again.

I had a slow-draining bathroom sink, so I called The Family Plumber, and their man came out to the house at the agreed-upon time. He snaked out the drain, saw it was draining just fine, and left. But within an hour, that sink wouldn't drain at all, and neither would the sink in the other bathroom. I called the office, and their man came back about two hours later. I had failed to tell him on his first visit that the house has two bathrooms with sinks that are back-to-back. But now he guessed what the situation must be and that on his first try he had simply pushed the gunk plugging up one sink into the pipes for the other sink. He had to take apart several pipes, put in new traps for both sinks, and after a lot of nasty work he had both bathroom sinks draining perfectly. I was very happy that he only charged $95 for all that work.

After pouring my morning bath, I was unable to turn off the hot water faucet. I had to turn the water off to my home which is always disruptive. I called my usual plumber. Normally they are fairly good, but it took a second call to him 3 hours later to hear him tell me he wouldn't be able to fix the problem today. Jumped on the computer and Angie's List to find someone to help me. Wow, I was so impressed with this company. Their customer service is outstanding. I was told an employee would be at my home in an hour. As the time passed, I received a call from the company telling me they were on their way. The two men who showed up were very kind, courteous and addressed my issue immediately. I will use the company in the future and highly recommend them. The entire cost was $120.00, which is $30.00 less than my usual plumber charged for "labor". I am a senior and for the first time in a long time, I wasn't taken advantage of and overcharged. What a relief to me and my wallet.

Woke up to a pool of water in my laundry room. Called and was excited to hear that a plumber could come within two hours. He snaked/cleared two drains and whoosh, problem solved. Awesome job. Would definitely recommend. Friendly group of people

I have to begin by saying I'm usually highly suspicious of being gouged by home repair providers. I've had crews come over and be little more than thinly disguised salesmen. The Family Plumber crew was not like that. They explained what they were about to do in a best case scenario. Luckily it ended up that way. Josh and Michael were very professional and diligent. When they thought they were done they didn't feel 100% confident in the solder job and decided to do it all over again just to make sure it was good. And that was no easy task. They left the work area clean too. I had gotten an estimate from their office beforehand and it turned out to be less when the work was done. Their price was very reasonable. They came recommended by a coworker and now I know why.

Set up an appointment by phone for a 10 am visit. Made sure with the person on the phone that the plumber would have enough time to get the job done since I would have to leave by 11 am. Was assured it would be enough time. Arranged to be ready for the plumber at 10 am and did not arrive on time. Kept waiting and by 11 am had to leave and couldnt wait. Would have been ok with a call saying they were running late or something, but to not get s call is inexcusable. Will not give them repeat business.

I contacted The Family Plumber because they were local. I had a leak in my toilet. I was told that they don't work in Condos. When I asked why, I was told that it had something to do with insurance.

My old wall-mounted, single-pull kitchen faucet could not be replaced (no longer manufactured). I had to go with a countertop-mounted faucet, which also meant having to purchase new countertops (needed anyway). The Family Plumber is great to work with. They have been my "go to" plumber since I first found them on Angie's List a few years ago. Paul came to the house and assessed what would need to be done, then wrote up an estimate. I agreed to the estimate, and Paul was scheduled to return in about a week and a half (I had to wait on my new counter and sink). When he returned, Paul completed the work noted above under "Day 1." The next day, another contractor removed the old countertop, backsplash, and sink. They then installed the new ones. The following day, Mike from The Family Plumber came to install the new countertop-mounted faucet, air gap, and dishwashing liquid dispenser. He also reinstalled the garbage disposal, and tied the drains back in. Job went smoothly, and I REALLY appreciated the Family Plumber being able to schedule me so that I was only without water from one afternoon until about noon, 2 days later!
