They were very concerned that we did not have water and made every effort to repair this a quickly as possible. Arrived on time, very professional and did a great job. I was not easy to get to the broken line. He had to crawl the entire length of our house to get to the break, and do the repair in a limited space. I guess that is what plumbers do, but it seems remarkable that he was able to do it so efficently and quickly. We will certainly call them again, and would recommend them to all.

Came over on a Sunday night within an hour of my call. Very friendly and professional. Worked h****** a stubborn drain (this drain has given other plumbers fits) but finished in less than an hour. Big charge for emergency service but got Angie's List discount. Even got an unsolicited estimate for making repairs to the drain so it won't be such a headache in the future.

Our main drain line backed up on Saturday. We tried to clear it ourselves but it was too far down and too stubborn. We called at 2pm and Mike was there by 3pm. He was very knowledgeable about our type of house and plumbing - he didn't even have to come inside the house. This company turned an exasperating problem into a complete pleasure. Professional, neat and super-nice folks. I will be calling them back to permanently fix the drains by replacing the entire drain system.

They came to inspect a leak and found a lake. I was told of the problem and they recommended a company to drain and remove and sanitize the LAKE. The company they gave to me was great. They came out on a Sunday remove the muck so the plumbers could start Monday morning. Monday they came out and repaired everything and made sure nothing leaked before they left. Their office would call me to update me and kept me informed. It was a real blessing to have them work on the house.

Overall, it was a job well done. The plummer explained all he had done before giving me the receipt which had exactly what he had done.

The work was done well and he was good. It might have been a little expensive though.

I can't say enough good things about them. They were responsive and professional. I am planning on using them again.

this is quite simply one of the best tradesmen i have ever ever had the privledge of working with. my lucky day. i grew up with contractors and know when a job is done with talent and caring. i was desperate to find a high quality, caring, professional, knowledgeable plumber with utmost integrity, who could get my tricky job done perfectly. the family plumber is all that and so much more. michael and josh did my work and i feel so fortunate for that. i had interviewed 6 plumbers and none of them inspired confidence in me that they could do the job with the degree of meticulousness and perfection i was looking for. michael immediately impressed me. when he came to the job the first day he and josh got to work. they worked very hard with focus and attention to detail. they brought a brand new water heater in their truck to my house and installed it in a tiny area and had to drill holes which they patched so well i couldnt tell they had done anything. i am going to say that the person ( who i wont name) from another plumbing company who took out my water heater for purposes of my remodel dented it so severely and also damaged the door to the water heater closet so badly trying to violently force it through the door i felt i had to buy a water heater and door. this other plumber exhibited disrespect for me and my property and annoyance at having to do his job . michael of the family plumber installed the new water heater perfectly. and funny, he had no trouble getting it through the same space. and i appreciate it. the second day on the job the family plumbers' michael and josh had to install a tub with only a fourth of an inch clearance on one side. they tackled the time consuming and tricky job with precision and an amazing degree of personal pride in the job. the tub was perfect. when they left after cleaning up i couldnt even tell they had been there. amazing to me. notice i did not say they are cheap. they arent, but they are worth every single penny because i believe the peace of mind that a true professional like this ( your plumber i think is your most important guy on your job, as a leak can really !!! ruin your day) can give you is priceless. if you were lucky enough to be able to hire this company for your plumbing job, you would have a high quality job with high quality materials and you would be hiring someone with integrity. who has pride in his work. if this is your home and you want the peace of mind that the best plumber in the area can bring you, this is your family plumber.

My kitchen sink backed up on a holiday--July 4th! I opted not to call a plumber that day, but repeated plungeing and then Drano had no effect, so I knew it was a serious clog. I called first thing on July 5th (a holiday for many folks) but Family Plumber answered right at their opening time. I had constraints of when I could be home (having to do an airport run) and my cleaning people were coming in, so she sent a plumber over before 10:00 am. He was in the house, checked the sink, snaked the drain and verified that the other drains were ok within less than 45 minutes, knowing I had to leave. I was amazed at the responsivness and also the friendly and quick service. I will definitely use The Family Plumber for all my future needs.

Very professional, punctual and friendly. Finished in a shorter time and under budget than I expected. Very forthcoming and honest about the problems and what it would take to fix them, and then they fixed them!

They called to say they were finished early at another job and asked if they could come about 30 minutes early which I was pleased about. It was determined quickly that my hot water heater was leaking due to corrosion and should be replaced. They were very thorough in explaining the job and what would be needed to secure the hot water heater. The hot water heater is located in a closet in the homes in my neighborhood and the owner of the company used to live in the area so they are familiar with the layout and considerations. I was also told how to shut the heater off if needed and how to adjust the temperature. It was a good overall experience. They are polite, professional and do not try to oversell you as a customer.

I was very pleased with him. I was happy about everything. It's a small company; the wife and the husband came. They want to do a good job because they're representing themselves.

Overall, everything went great and I will definitely refer and call again when I need plumbing help.

Home water pressure went from weak to non-existent overnight so I finally called in a plumber. Found Family Plumber on Angies List, called the service on a Saturday. They took the request professionally and I was contacted by the on-call tech within an hour. Initial phone assessment was potentially a piping issue, but we agreed that a Saturday visit would be a good idea even if more work during the week was required. He showed exactly on-time with a pre-call to say he was on his way. He quickly diagnosed that the pressure issue was at the street side, he fixed the main street valve, re-checked the worst faucets and took them apart to correct the flow and clean all the aerators, etc. When he left after being on-site less than an hour, our water pressure is as-good as it has ever been. All for only $90 on a Saturday. I was dreading calling a plumber but this was awesome.

HE SPENT MOST OF THE TIME RUNNING WATER THROUGH AT MY EXPENSE AND CONVINCED ME AFTER AN HOUR HE COULD GET IT OPEN WITH ANOTHER HOUR AT 1000 PER HOUR. WE AGREED AND THEN 240 DOLLARS LATER NOTHING. DID NOT SEEM QUALIFIED OR CONFIDENT IN HIS APPROACH/ VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We've only owned our new washer/dryer for two months. We had an intermittent problem where sometimes the washer would work just fine and other times it wouldn't fill with water completely. It got to the point it only filled with water for about 10 seconds then stopped. We had the company we bought the appliances from come out because the appliances are under one year manufacturer warranty. He said we might have a plumbing problem and not a problem with the washer but for some reason he disconnected the hot water hose and decided this wasn't the correct hose so he changed the hose, tested the hot water filling up in the machine and everything seemed fine. The next day I went to do laundry using a warm cycle (which needs to fill with hot and cold water) and it quit filling after about 10 seconds. Because he said we might have a plumbing problem and because it seemed the man from the appliance store didn't completely know what he was doing I called a plumber from Angies List. Anthony from The Family Plumber came out and knew right away what the problem was. He did a great job and my washer is back to working just fine. He was very nice and pleasant as well. So, overall I was very happy with my service from The Family Plumber. They were very nice, fast, and knowledgeable. I will be happy to recommend them to my family and friends.

Within 2 1/2 weeks, it seemed just about everything in our house started to leak! I decided to use The Family Plumber after researching the category on Angie's List (first time I have used it). What an outstanding service company! From Megan who answers the phone to Mike and Anthony who did our work, this is one first class business. I called them and we were able to schedule the work within 2 days. The day of the work we received a comlimentary phone call to let us know the technician was on his way. The U-joint under the sink had to be replaced. It was done for $79 less than other estimates I had gotten. I had been told by 2 others plumbers that quite a bit of work was required; Mike did it in about 10 minutes. It turned out that the (obviously rotting) stem joints in the front bathroom had to be replaced. Ditto the shower stems. The original clear plastic shower handles were getting discolored, so I requested that new ones be installed. These had to be special ordered, which took about a week and a half. TFP called me when they came in, and they were subsequently installed. Throughout the process, both Mike and Anthony showed me all of the worn parts, and fully explained what they were doing and why. Any questions I had were fully answered. Both plumbers were also very personable and very tidy, and they cleaned up beautifully. When Mike was working on our back sink he even put down a drop cloth. All of the above was greatly appreciated. Since this job was done we have also used the Family Plumber to repair our dishwasher line and to root out our main line to the sewer (a 8:30 PM, Friday night emergency!). I HIGHLY recommend The Family Plumber to anyone needing plumbing work done. I will certainly always call them first. This is one first class service business!

The Family Plumber was very professional from the time I called them to set up an appointment to the time they finished the job. They honored their estimate even though the job required a bit more work than originally estimated. I am very happy to have hired them as I think now I have found a reliable plumber.

Had to go with the insurance plumber since they were paying but will call the Family plumber in the future for my plumbing needs.

Rick and Josh showed up right on time and got right to work. They were both super friendly and professional and obviously took pride in their work. Despite the nasty weather (crazy rain storm), they had a great attitude and took extra care not to track in a mess (a challenge in that weather), which we appreciated. We got a few estimates for this job and they came in at the best rate. We were very impressed with the customer service, both on the phone and Rick and Josh. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

They came out on two occasions: one, for the kitchen faucet and two, for the main drain line. Roots had gotten into the drain system, and so he had to dig down deep, put in a main drain line and clean it out. He had to install what they call a clean-out on the outside of the house so that he could access it. They were good, and I was happy with their service. They were responsive and on time. They quoted the estimate and stayed with it. I spent $125 for the kitchen faucet and $900 for the drain line. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Found the problem quickly and knew what to do. Put everything back in place as it was. Service men were very personable.

He fixed the leak and had also fixed the connection to the main water line. It was starting to leak and deteriorating. He had noticed it when he had first come out but I didn?t have him do it then. I had asked them to come out a day or two after they first came here. They were able to work according to my schedule very well. I later had to change the scheduling and they were very responsive to my need to change when I wasn?t available the first day. The person who came out wasn?t the one who had first come over to my house, but he was just as good and helped me with the repair.

I felt very comfortable with the plumber. He displayed good workmanship and expertise. The price was fair too. They were very responsive to my scheduling. They came out as quickly as I wanted them to and came out on time. I was very pleased with their service. I even had them come out a second time.

Everything went fine and they did a good job. The job was professional.
