The Family Plumber

The Family Plumber was very fast to respond. They accessed the leak in my kitchen faucet and told me the company that makes the faucet will replace it for free, due to the warranty. Josh, from The Family Plumber, helped me make the call to the manufacture and order the replacement faucet and all the parts needed for the job. I called The Family Plumber back after I received the new faucet, and Josh came right out to install it. I felt that The Family Plumber was very friendly, efficient and honest. Josh explained everything to us, and was easy to deal with. A job well done in our book. We would definitely call them again if needed.

I called in the morning, they gave me an estimate over the phone and arranged to have someone come out to the house between 3 and 4 p.m. At 3:30 the plumber arrived at the house, bringing with him the faucet that I had asked for earlier on the phone. He installed it, cleaned up and left within 45 minutes. This is the second time I have used The Family Plumber, and I will definitely call them again when I have my next plumbing problem.

I have lived in this house for over 13 years and have been looking for a reliable and professional plumber. I have finally found one.Paul (the service man) was prompt, clean and effecient. Took only about 40 minutes and took all trash with him, which is a rarity. He also asked something that I have never experienced in 35 plus years of home ownership: "Is there anything else I can do?"Plus: He liked my dog! Price quoted for install was a bit less than the actual, but I am not complaining.I would definitely use these folks again.

I called The Family Plumber based on Angie's list reviews, because my experiences with my previous plumber were getting worse and worse; shoddy work and a complaining attitude. The office staff at the Family Plumber was very nice, verified that the services I needed were not an emergency, and scheduled me for a convenient time the following week. They called the day ahead to remind me of the appointment. Rick arrived on time and made it a point to find a good parking place not blocking my driveway. When I showed him the work to be done, he explained that he would need to make a small opening in the stucco around my front hose bib in order to replace it, because of the way it was originally installed. I approved that, and he proceeded with all the work, working efficiently, quietly, cleanly and with a very pleasant attitude. Some of the work he did was corrections to the shoddy work done previously. All the parts used appear to be excellent quality, the work is neat, and he was careful to make a minimum of mess while working, and clean thoroughly when finished. He explained exactly what he would need to do, then did it. The price was quite reasonable, and I am very pleased with the service.

They are a bit busy so it took a few days to get the actual date to do the work scheduled. We were not an emergency service. We were given a date and window of time. The day before the job we got a reminder phone call confirming they were coming the next day and the time. Day of the job - their guys were runningabout an hour behind schedule so they called us in plenty of time to let us know so that we were not just sitting around waiting for them. Once they were on their way we got a another phone call to let us know they were on their way. There were to guys that showed up and the work took about 4-5 hours to complete start to finish. A+ for communication. A for an overall experience. While maybe not the cheapest on the market, you get what you pay for and they are definately customer focused and responsive. A for punctuality even-though they were running a little late. They made the effort to keep us updated and still showed up in our 'window' of time. We are pleased with their service and will use them again if necessary.

I like this plumber. I had messed up my kitchen faucets trying to fix it myself, and he told me the first visit that it could not be repaired, and if I bought another he wouldn't charge me except for the straight installation. He came back today and did just that, on time, charged just what he said he would, and did it with a friendly attitude and on time. I WILL be using this plumber again. The big guys with the big ads can say goodbye to my business.

The plumber, Josh, was great. He stuck to the job at hand and did not try to "up-sell" me on any other services. He was very neat in executing his task and we now have a new "family plumber"! These will be our go to guys from now on.

I would recommend him. He's a little expensive, but there was a lot work to do. He came back several times, to fix things right away. He was very cooperative and very nice, and his helpers were good as well.

He kept me informed of his estimated arrival time, kept it updated, and gave me a 30 minute window at the end. He was friendly, worked diligently, gave me suggestions and alternatives, and got my preapproval for what he was planning ond doing.

I was having some plumbing issues at a rental property I owned (Leaky valve under bathroom vanity and kitchen sink was backing up).I called The Family Plumber because they came highly recommended on Angie"s List. They normally don't work the Norwalk area but decided to help me out because I was a member of Angie's List. Vicky was extremely helpful and courteous on the phone and made sure that my plumbing issues would be resolved. Paul came out to my property and was punctual and very helpful. He fixed all the issues we were having, He also cleaned up after he was done with his work. It was like he was never there, except now the plumbing problems were fixed. The Family Plumber was great and I would definitely use them again. I just hope they would be willing to work with me and work my local area again because it is not part of their normal work area. Thank you very much for your help!

He was the only one that came out. I'm not sure if they have other employees. He was honest, and very frank. He was easy to talk to, and very informative. He was able to break down the problem accurately. He gave you different options. He was honest, accommodating, and forward. He was very responsive. He came out in a couple of hours. He gave me his personal cell phone number so I can reach him. He would pick up, or respond within a couple of hours. I'd recommend him to everyone. Overall, he's great.

One of my two toilets was clogged, and they sent out a guy who unclogged it in about 10 minutes with a snake. The toilet was old, and I asked him how much it would cost to replace it with a new one. He said $375, and he wouldn't charge for the unclogging. I took the deal, and a few days later, they sent out another guy who brought the new toilet with him and installed it in about 50 minutes. He left everything very clean, and I was highly satisfied with everything The Family Plumber had done.

He is excellent. I have an apartment building and he has always been our plumber. I cannot say enough. I should have gone on to Angie's List when he came last time. He is very friendly. He explain things very professionally. He gives us the options of what we can do. He is very efficient. I have referred him to a lot of people at our church and they just love him. I am okay with the pricing. He is very reasonable for the work and very professional. He is very available when I need him to come. His office is very friendly. It is a family owned business.

Overall project went well, they replaced the water heater within a few days of contacting them. Receive no complaints from my tenants.

AWESOME service! Josh was the only plumber that actually called us back and came to our house on a Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m. to clear out the main line. Josh was extremely professional, timely and courteous! Would definitely use them again!

They kept my frequently updated as to when thier plumber would arrive and the process went relatively smoothly.

They were local. I checked their licenses, and everything looked good. The overall experience was excellent. They were prompt, responsive, and professional.

I have listed them in my favorites. They did a great job of looking at what had to be done and looked at suggestions that I should take into consideration. They were not pushy and were very thorough. They were basically informative. I was pleased with them. They were responsive to my request and they scheduled a time and came on the time that they said they would. They did a great job of presenting themselves. It looks like they are going to be coming but I am not 100% sure, I still have to compare their quotes with other two companies that gave me estimates.

He was really honest and told me not to do unnecessary expensive work. His pricing was fair and reasonable. I would use him again in the future if I needed to.

This is the second time I used this company. The first time I didn't have the repair done, because it was a sub zero refrigerator that was leaking, not a line or pipe to the appliance. They were VERY helpful and honest. Because of that I told them that I would use them again if a plumbing need came up. Today I noticed a hissing sound in my garage, upon inspection I noticed a puddle of water under my water heater. I couldn't see where the leak was coming from. I immediately went in and called The Family Plumber. Josh and Ryan came out with in 20 mins. Josh found the leak and he and Ryan cleaned up and did the job with in 40 minutes. They were both very professional. I am very picky about contractors after several years of feeling like I was taken advantage of. You will never feel that way with The Family Plumber. They are an honest contractor very fair prices.

Overall, they did an excellent job!! We will call them to come back and handle all our future plumming needs. We highly recommend this company. In fact, in talking to our neighbor about their services, he has now decided to have them come out and add a trap to his bathroom as well.

If it is an emergency they will be out absolutely as soon as possible, otherwise it is easy, they come out as soon as they can manage and they try and fit us in as soon as they can. They charge us by the hour. They are not cheap but they don’t rip us off either. They are not overly expensive. They are good. They are fair. Last time they were here they fixed a leak under the sink. They have done things like replacing the water maintenance of the house. They have replaced all the faucet sets in the house. They put in a direct drain from the main for our spa. We have had gas leak and they have fixed that. We will continue to use them in the future.

I was dealing for some time with a slow drain in the bathtub and the kitchen and finally I had the Money to take care of them. I called The Family Plumber and I am very happy as to how fast they took care of the problem, their professionalism, and how clean was the area after they finish. I will continue to contract their services when a problem arises. I am very impressed how courteous Michael was and the effort he put into understanding my explanations since English is my second Language. Thanks Michael, Paul and Rick.
