Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Long Beach

I called three other plumbers I have retained with good results in the past. The problem arose and needed to be addressed on a Saturday, and I only received automated messages from two of the plumbers with no indication that they were available over the weekend. The third plumber was available, but not until late in the day because he was very busy. I called Mr. Rooter and immediately was able to speak to someone, who arranged for a plumber to come within an hour. The plumber was very professional, carefully inspected and diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. He also gave me advice about what could be done in the future to remedy the problem. The standard cost of the service ($175) was higher than I have paid for another plumber ($150), but: (1) Mr. Rooter was immediately available; (2) the work has a 1 year, 1-trip warranty, which the other plumber did not provided; and (3) the Mr. Rooter plumber had and used a video inspection system to diagnose and assist in remedying the problem, which the other plumber did not have (and who charged me several hundred dollars and a special trip to video inspect the line, because he had to rent the equipment from someone else and had to make a separate trip to do the inspection). Consequently, the $175 price was fair -- and arguably better than fair. Most importantly, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. * I should also add that I provided the cost information above based on their standard rate for fair comparison with other plumbers. However, Mr.Rooter had a special purchase deal available for this work to be done for $75, which I purchased, so the work only cost $75 (and still with included the 1-year, 1-trip warranty).

The crew was on site ahead of time and started work on time. The crew chief pointed other defects which needed correction and which were then done. At the proper time they called the city inspector to approve the job. Work was completed on time and the site left clean. We are completely satisfied with the manner and quality of the work. We recommend them and would consider them again.

We initially spoke with Candy who was very pleasant. Shilo came out on site to fix our plumbing issue and was prompt. We were very pleased with the service and outcome. We will use them again if need be. We recommend them definitely.

I wanted to have 2 toilets installed and a simple steam dryer water line put in. I saw the promo for $99 for $200 of services. I figured the total estimate would be about $350 for the job based on other comps. The company came out to estimate and gave it on the spot. They wanted nearly $900 for this job less the $200 but really it still cost $99 so the net job cost is $800. This is way over market price for a less than 2 hr job. The company is responsive and friendly for sure. Just way overpriced! Thanks!

It was fantastic. He told me what model to get and I went and bought it so I didn't have to pay them extra. They were courteous. It was quick service. He took care of the problem-it was very easy.

My husband was here with him and was very impressed by his service. Very professional and just areal nice guy. My only "complaint" is that on the online work request I had listed an upstairs bathroom sink that was draining very slowly, but he forgot to fix that. My husband didn't mention it either so I can't totally blame them but it would have been nice to have had that taken care of too.

My kitchen faucet stopped working completely. I purchased the $99 for $200 deal, then I called Mr. Rooter. Candi answered the phone and had a plumber on his way in minutes. She updated me that she had received the deal information and the plumber was in transit. Shilo arrived to put in the new faucet we had already gotten. We decided to have other work done the next day. Unfortunately, Shilo was sick for a few days which delayed the work. We were called early each morning to update his status. After Candi called us to let us know he was able to come, Shilo arrived to do the rest of the work. He is very friendly and professional. Candi called after he reported he had finished the job to check if we were satisfied with the work. We will be calling again for other work we need to have done. Since we didn't get other pricing I don't know how it compares.

It was 2pm Sunday and my girlfriend had just gotten out of the hospital. In a stroke of genius, I managed to jam a small cleaning brush in my toilet. I tried but failed to dislodge it. Mr.Rooter sent Steve, who tired to auger it loose?it was hopelessly jammed?which I pretty much knew. The toilet needed to be replaced?which I had been contemplating anyway. I explained that my regular plumber was out of town. Steve He told me it would save money if I would purchase a toilet myself but that they had one available; it was the make and model I was thinking of purchasing later. Again, this was now 3pm Sunday with a convalescing girlfriend and no toilet. The closet bolts were spinning and Steve told me the flange might be shot. I asked if he would pull the toilet and check?if an new flange was needed and it was more than just an install, I would wait for my guy to get back in town. The flange was fine so I chose to solve the problem at that time, despite the added expense. The new toilet was in by 6:30 pm. It was not cheap, but I feel it was fair. Mr. Rooter and Steve were professional, punctual and honest?thanks.

The gentleman that handled our situation was awesome! Derrick arrived on time and stayed hard at work until the problem was solved. He didn't want to give up on our clog, even though his supervisor suggested that may be the need, as it was not clearing no matter what was done! Derrick kept at it and eventually, after about 3 hours, he was successful. He kept expressing how happy it made him that he was able to help us out. What a wonderful work ethic and upbeat personality! We will keep Derrick and Mr. Rooter of Long Beach in mind for all future plumbing needs!

Mr. Rooter is the only plumber you need to know about in Long Beach!!! The plumber dispatched for my service call, Shilo, was prompt and friendly. He quickly assessed the problem that involved a total lack of water pressure in the master bathroom and walked me through the best and worst case scenario for repairs. He provided a rough estimate and helped wherever possible with the cost. The repair went flawlessly. Unfortunately the repair was extensive and required opening the wall behind the shower pipes, but everything was done quickly, professionally, and affordably. Shilo told me to call him for any reason if there are any future problems associated with this repair. I will certainly use Mr. Rooter's services in the future and will recommend them to anyone that needs prompt quality plumbing service. My only disappointment was that they don't work on heating systems too!!

We bought the coupon for $75 to clean the main drain. The guy came 45 minute late. He tried to snack out twice but it did not work. He suggested to repair part of pipe which may cost addition $1,900. We called another company, it cost $180 to snack out the main drain.

It was great.I called the same day I made the purchase, and they had someone who was available to come out that very day. I purchased the big deal offered on Angie's list for $75. I told them of my other concerns and they will return tomorrow. There are so many services they provide that I was unaware of....such as selling and installing kitchen faucets, water line for the ice maker, running a camera through the vents to see the sewer. I now know who I will call. Mr. Rooter.

They were very good. They were quite responsive. They did put a camera through the drain to show that the roots in the pipes were on the city’s end of the pipe and it was not their work to fix. They called the city for me to have this work done. The copper piping works very well. They have always been responsive to my calls and any questions I have. They always showed up on time.

I've used them for atleast ten years. I have had no problems with them at all. They are very clean & efficient. Their prices are fair, I didn't really do a lot of comparison though. I will continue to use them in the future.

I THINK THAT THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS O.K. IT WASN'T ALL THAT GOOD, BUT IT WAS COOL. I WOULD PROBABLY CONSIDER USING THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. MY DRAINS AREN'T CLOGGED ANY MORE.
