Action Services Inc

Action Services Inc. were good. We bought a big deal for Action Services Inc. to have them do some capping off of a gas line. They did a bunch of work in our house and it was good. They did it very well. I don't remember the cost. They were nice guys. We hired them to do something they couldn't do it. We bought the deal hoping that they could do something but we didn't call ahead to find out if they were capable.

Excellent - Great very professional efficient.

They did the job well. The first time they came out they realized that they needed bigger equipment. He just had a standard rooter machine and he needed one with a water jet. I rescheduled with him and they did the job.

It worked out fine and was very thorough. I was satisfied with the work and would recommend them.

Purchased the coupon to have bathtub handles installed and in-line water filter for the ice maker. Figured the 2 hour $99.99 coupon would do, since the bathtub should have been no more than 10 min. Well, I was wrong. I bought the wrong handles, so the tech wanted $150 to get new handles and install them and $160 for the in-line water filter. Was here for less than 60 min. Since I paid the $99.99 already, it gave me a two hour "credit" so the in-line water filter install was only $99.99. Not upset at all. Just thought the price for the bathtub handles and installation was a little too much. $150? Seriously? But the tech was very, very nice and did great work with the in-line water filter. Super nice team.

He opened it up and said "I have never seen one like this and I don't know how to fix it". He closed it and said "what's next?" So I had him swap the tank from my other toilet onto this toilet, and he was able to do that. He did not even attempt to fix the first toilet. I was not very impressed with his plumbing knowledge.

It went great! He was very much on time and came in on budget, which was over 1000 less than the nearest bid.

Purchased a Big deal for Action Services Inc. Was very pleased with the service, very professional. The gentleman had to go get a part and didn't overcharge. Wish they would service my area, distance is to far away.

Did not do a particularly good job. The slow drain in the bathroom became slow again in about a month and we were told that we would have to pay to have it cleared again. The repairman told me that our sump pump outside was broken and quoted me a price of more than $700 to replace it (parts and labor) but it turned out that the sump pump was not broken after all. I got the feeling that they were trying to cheat me; it's fortunate I checked on the sump pump with someone else.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal Coupon, which gave me 3 hours of handyman services for $89. That's really hard to beat. I admit in the middle of the 3 hours, I was nervous, because everything looked a bit sloppy and messy, but the end results looked excellent, so I have no complaints. The guys were prompt, efficient and cleaned up afterward. I thought I had too much work for the 3 hours, but they finished it all under time and asked if they could do anything else. It was wonderful - highly recommend!

He did a super job, he re-caulked all the bathtubs. Very very timely, he was in and out in no time at all.

The service turned out very well. John, owner, was very good and pleasant to work with. Charles, job supervisor, was very knowledgeable and was very helpful. The only really bad thing that happen was the invoice. I asked for an invoice that separated the Re-pipe job from the Drainage Job but never received the two invoice. I wanted it for tax purpose but the company ddn't seem to care about that.

They showed up on time and completed the services I needed done. They completed the job quickly and efficiently.

He did a good job. He replaced a garbage disposal.

He was very good. He walked through the house through all the plumbing stuff. He was a very nice guy and tried to give me my money's worth.

They were great. John was very friendly and did the work that I asked him to. Cleaned up everything before leaving. It was a great experience. Would recommend them to others in the area. Will be using them again in the future if needed.

I was not impressed with them. I had a couple of things that I wanted them to look at and they said they could not because it was not their job or it was beyond their ability. They were nice. They knew what they were doing when it came to the toilet.

John did a great job and was friendly and helpful.

They fixed both very nicely. He was very nice and gave me a full explanation of the problems. He was very reasonably priced.

Professional and quick. I had 2 toilets and a wall mounted kitchen faucet installed. I did have to run out to get some unexpected parts but the work was done well and quickly.

I was told that my house is outside their service area and the service call was cancelled. I received a full refund from Angies.

. First off, the ad said they could do plumbing and electrical jobs, but I was later told no plumbing work could be done. So the sink drain was off the list. When the guy arrived to do the work, he said he could not set up the small TV and could not fix my squeaky floor. So I got little for my money. He was ready to leave after only one hour, although the ad was for 3 hours of handyman work. Maria, my contact at their office was congenial but obviously had difficulty finding people to do the work

The installation was great. The individual was prompt, and explained the additional work that would be required. (This wasn't a surprise, as the prior homeowner seemed to be a do-it-yourself kind of guy--which shows in many of his projects.)

I called late on a Friday; they were able to come Monday. They arrived within the window of the appointment--no mean feat, given that i am downtown, and they are in Long Beach. The plumber was personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. He cleared my drain and gave me advice about keeping it running smoothly. I have been happy with all my interactions with this company, and I will certainly call on them again should I need more help with plumbing issues.
