We wanted to install a pocket door ASAP - we were moving in on the weekend, and wanted to have the pocket door installed. I only found 2 places that would install one - Action Services, and Al Martinez. They came on a Thursday morning, and told us that they could put it in the next day (fri) and the day after (sat). For that, I'm very happy we used them. The work was good and the workers were nice people. A young man, and his uncles were very polite and accommodating. The pocket door looks good, and I'm happy with it. Quality is great considering how quickly they did it. All in all, it took two them two full days to install. The pocket door was installed to separate the bedroom from the bathroom. I'm not a fan of having an opening that you can't close. Only downside is that the office is a bit disorganized: - Going from sales person to work person was confusing - -- Received estimate at 4pm for a job that was going to happen the next day - They mishandled the paperwork a bit (deposit paperwork, payment paperwork) - But they corrected their mistakes, so I'm not angry. The main guys (John the owner and the workers) were all good.

I asked three vendors to give me a quote on the job. All three were licensed, bonded, insured, checked out with the state licensing board, no complaints on the BBB website, and all were highly rated on Angie's List. In addition, all three promptly returned my calls and gave me an estimate on the job. My contact at Action Services was John Santore. Our initial decision to use this company was based on our impression of John as a professional and straight forward person. He was the only one of the 3 vendors to give me a price and stick with it, meaning that the other 2 vendors had gimmicks to offer in order to lower their quoted price. John was competitive, and remained so, despite catchy discounts from the other 2 vendors. Finalizing the contract was pleasant, John was very amenable to our terms and conditions. John estimated 3 weeks, and finished early. Workers showed up at and left our house on time, were very respectful, polite, and quite, and cleaned up after themselves daily. We are satisfied with the services performed. The job came out looking very nice. John helped with suggestions, e.g. colors, design, etc. The process was not painful. Having made the final payment today, I should also note that there were no hidden costs, no surprise change orders, no mickey mousing every last screw. The initial bid was the final price. Out of courtesy and fairness to all involved, I did not disclose the amount I spent on this job, nor the names or bid prices of the other two vendors.

Overall everything went well. As for the price, I have nothing to compare it to, but I am trusting that we were given a fair price. We have used this company to replace our water heater before and the service was good so we decided to use them again. The project took a few months because midway we were told by the city that we needed a city permit for the work. Action Services went and got the permit but didn't charge us extra for it since they already quoted us a price that we agree upon. The owner is very nice and worked with our family and our situation. We are pleased with the work that was done and will use them again for our future plumbing needs.

This company has very good technicians. They showed me how to flush out my water heater in between proper cleanings and tune-ups.

They got here 30mins after I called them. That was quick for a weekend. He was fast and reasonable.

Never could get an appointment with these people. Office person Maria, never responded to my last email requesting a service date. I guess my job was too small for them. She even suggested I get a refund from A-list. Which is exactly what I plan on doing!

We wanted a faucet replaced on the kitchen sink of our condo. The man showed up on time. The job was done quickly & neatly.

He came right out and was so accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was a fabulous man. He got me what I needed and was very responsive and helpful. He took a personal interest in the situation. He provided me with a written quote and with helpful comments. I was just very impressed by his terrific service. I tried contacting other people and I have had very poor responses in comparison to Action services. I was particularly happy with his attention to my request.

All good. The technicians were on time, respectful, and professional. Each product installed works very well. Gil took the time to explain the pros and cons of the items I wanted to purchase, as well as the impact it would have on my plumbing system. They didn't push any services or products, and honored their bids. The front office scheduled each work order promptly. I will use their services for future projects.

Everything turned out well as expected.

I first called the provider (Action Services) when I saw the deal. The deal included 8 windows and I only have 7 in my home. The rep generously offered to include window grids in our 7 windows in lieu of an 8th window. I was kept informed of the progress every step of the way. Someone came out (on time) to measure my windows and help me decide which options to get. Our custom-made windows were installed about 10 days later. They were retro-fit on our aluminum frames. I couldn't be happier with the new look of my entire house. I notice that my windows are not either freezing or hot to the touch because of the dual panes. The installers were friendly and clean. The windows are not a brand I'd heard of before (the obvious Milgard and Jeld-Wen options) but once installed, you cannot tell the difference in the quality or appearance. I'd definitely recommend Action Services.

The plumber was on time, very professional and friendly, expained to us how to avoid stopping up our toilets, how long the parts should last, etc. Any question we asked, he answered in a very warm and friendly manner. The experience was wonderful and worth the price.

I tried to use the Deal, but everything we’ve asked them to do they’ve been unable to do: we asked them to scrape away some paint from rails, sand, and repaint and then also asked them to rehang a loose light fixture. They were unable to do either job. I asked them what kind of things that they could do and they couldn’t give me any specific examples.

I bought the deal more than a year ago and my coupon had expired, when I called,they honored my coupon for $35 plumbing service plus an extra $50 to take care of clogged kitchen sink. the guy was on time but after spending 4 hours he was not able to fix the problem. so he suggested hydro pressure cleaning. they asked for $150 to do the job. since they did not fix the problem, i asked them if they would apply that $50 toward the charge for pressure cleaning, they did not accept . so I paid the guy and decided to pure some liquid drain opener in to the sink and see what happens, to my surprise the sink was unclogged the next morning.!!

See above. It was a disaster from start to finish along with a nasty surprise at the end.

I am very happy with the services, very polite and professional. I would use the again.

Gil came in and we showed him our new faucet for our bathtub. He had to look around to try to find the best access to under the tub. He took out the old fixtures that had practically deteriorated and installed the new ones. He needed to go get a part that had not been shipped with the new faucet, but he was back very quickly. He only charged us for the straight cost of the parts over his estimate. He worked on the installation for about 4 hours. Considering his time, the cost was very reasonable. He did give us a $99 discount for the original cost of the Angie's list deal. We will reschedule the water conditioner and also have them come back and install our kitchen sink Insta-hot and faucet.
