Description of Work: We had 2 windows in our living room with vertical blinds, and one Hunter Douglas Duette blind done. The vertical blinds are plastic on the backside and cloth on the front, probably over 10 years old, with dog hair and dust. I've never had them cleaned, and I was very pleased with the results. There was a reaction with the glue on the bottom of some of the blinds, but it is not noticable unless pointed out. For the Hunter Douglas blind it is on a back door off of the kitchen so it is heavily used door, many times a day. Put in about 10 years ago also, and never cleaned. I had forgott how white it used to be, it looks gorgeous! By the door handle there is a small area of a residual spot, but MUUUUCH cleaner! All in all a beautiful job, the 2 workers very professional and kind, I wish I would have done this sooner! Very convenient to have them come to your house, the over the phone estimate was spot on and very reasonably priced. Would use again and reccomend!

Description of Work: They advised against cleaning my Starlight Blinds from 3 day blinds. They were so straightforward, explaining that the blinds of that type and age were somewhat defective and may not come out well after cleaning. they told me not to waste my money because I might not be happy. I will use them to clean other blinds as needed. I totally appreciate their honesty.

The convenience was the most outstanding aspect because the cleaning is done on-site in a fully-equipped truck. Our 20 year-old shades look & function like new. I only wish I'd hired Ultrasonic Blind Service years ago.

 + -1 moreThey were wonderful. I told them a time when I would be back. When I was a few minutes early, they were waiting for me. They were very pleasant. I was amazed at how quickly the work was done. They perform the services in a truck outside. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: They did ultrasonic blind cleaning for us. There was mold removed from the bottom of some of the blinds. They cleaned the blinds on four windows. Two smaller and two larger.

 + -1 moreThey got here a few minutes early. They took all the blinds down and took it to the vehicle that had the cleaning equipment. They had every blind in the house cleaned, dried and hung up again. They did an excellent job. It took a little longer, because I did not have them cleaned for quite some time and there were some different blinds as well.

 + -1 moreRick was friendly but professional. We were impressed that he even called us back about 3 weeks after he had done the job, to let us know he was in our neighborhood and could clean additional blinds for us without charging the $60 minimum to come out.
Description of Work: Rick Fields, who covers our section of Los Angeles County, came to our home. He took down 5 sets of aluminum blinds and cleaned them outside in his truck. He then rehung all the blinds. We were very pleased with how quickly he did the job and how good the blinds looked.

 + -1 moreCould not have gone better. Glen and Matt arrived on time. Removed the blinds, thoroughly cleaned them (which they sorely needed), and reinstalled them. For one blind they showed me the situation and recommended a repair which I accepted. They were also pleasant to deal with.
Description of Work: Had 13 mini blinds cleaned and one repaired. All were aluminum mini blinds. They ranged in size from 33" x 33" to 69" x 58".

 + -1 moreI wanted the work done immediately and they made an appointment to come the next day. Since I was scheduled to be at work that day I left the blinds laying outside on a blanket. I received a call from the repair man to say the work was complete and although they could not repair the cord mechanism, they replaced it with a twist mechanism so it would tilt vertical. He also told me that when they picked up the set of blinds, one of the slats fell out and broke. I do not have a replacement slat so I have to super glue it back together and hope it stays, or I can go back to the place where I special ordered them and pay a fee to get a replacement slat. I do not know if the company gave me a discount for the broken slat, the quote over the phone was $95 total. The invoice says, "Service Call= $50, Repair Tilter= $45", so I doubt it. The repair man did not offer to replace or repair the slat.
Description of Work: The company repaired a set of blinds that was no longer tilting horizontally.

 + -1 moreUltrasonic arrived on time, removed the blinds and cleaned them in an ultrasonic tank located in their truck parked outside. They cleaned all the blinds in about an hour or two. They were pleasant and did the work competently. There was a miscommunication about cleaning a difficult to reach blind, but returned within the hour with the required ladder and cleaned the remaining blind. My blinds were super dirty, but now they are super clean.

 + -1 moreThey were very courteous and helpful on the phone. We set up an appointment, and they arrived promptly. It took about one and a half hours to take the blinds down, clean them in their truck, and then remount them. They were careful and friendly, additionally, I needed some extra mounting brackets for the blind on the back door, and while they did not have them on the truck, they told me how to get them from the manufacturer. I followed their directions, and I received several new brackets, free of charge. I was pleased overall, and would call Ultrasonic again. They charged more than the prior company, though. I sort of knew this would be the case, and besides, I didn't ask for an estimate. This is not a job I would do myself.
Description of Work: Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning came to my house to clean twelve faux wood blinds and three levelers. I called them because the other company I did business with no longer does this job. The other company told me about Ultrasonic, and I looked on Angie's List, and viola! They were there with good recommendations, so I gave them a try.

 + -1 moreThe workmen arrived promptly and were very friendly and hardworking. They managed to save the blinds I thought I was going to have to replace, and they were as good as new by the time they finished. There was almost no downtime since they had all the cleaning supplies and extra parts with them on the truck. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Twelve sets of very dirty and broken mini blinds were cleaned, restored, and rehung. Some of the broken parts are no longer being made, but they figured out a very acceptable workaround for it.

 + -1 moreI was very happy with the service. Two guys arrived right on time (8 AM as promised), got right to work, and were finished in a little over an hour. They were friendly and efficient. They perform the entire cleaning and repair service in their truck, which they park right out on the street. Considering how much time and effort it takes me to try to get the blinds that clean by doing it myself, I felt the price was fair ($16 per blind, $15 service call to come to my area, and $30 for the re-string on one blind).
Description of Work: They removed, cleaned, dried, and replaced 11 blinds. They repaired strings for one blind.

 + -1 moreThey were polite, very reasonably priced, and extremely professional. They were about 20 minutes late, but I live in Venice and they are in Redondo Beach and were coming to me at the height of the rush hour.
Description of Work: I needed 5 Hunter-Douglas Silhouette blinds cleaned. They had bad mold on the bottom of the blinds due to condensation on our windows. These blinds are beautiful but delicate and notoriously difficult to clean. Two of the blinds were the ''Bon Soir'' type. Ultra Sonic warned me in advance that the cleaning process might affect the night black-out effect of these two blinds. The situation with these blinds was so bad that it was either take the chance or replace them (at $500 per window), so I went ahead. Ultra Sonic cleaned the blinds beautifully, they look like new (they're 5 years old). The ''Bon Soir'' blinds were not affected by the cleaning process.

A COMPANY HIRED TO POWER WASH OUR HOME INADVERTENTLY DID SO WHILE OUR WINDOWS WERE SLIGHTLY OPEN! OUR NEW WHITE SHADES WERE SPLATTERED WITH BROWN SPOTS. THANK GOODNESS FOR ULTRASONIC. THEY WERE PROMPT, WELL-PRICED, AND IN A FEW HOURS OUR SHADES WERE JUST LIKE NEW. WE ALSO HAD THEM WASH OUR MINI-BLINDS. THEY JUST SENT US A REMINDER THAT IT'S TIME TO CLEAN THEM AGAIN. WE'LL USE THEM FOR SURE.
