We hired Jose from Zavala to do various projects including: replace dry rot wood trim around the outside of our house and shed, replacing decorative wood trim around outside patio beams, fix wood gate to our pool equipment, fix a lattice wood fence and fix our front door. Jose arrived the first day a half hour early, ready to work with all supplies needed. He worked the entire time, never even taking a break. He cleaned up each day extremely well. Very professional and takes extra care in what he does! Would definitely hire him again.

Before looking around I called the 2 well known fence repair services in our area. They couldn't even give me an estimate until 30+ days. Zavala Construction was able to come out, give me an estimate, and finish the fence well before the other companies would have been able to give me an estimate. Now that I know that Zavala Construction can do other work I'll definitely hang onto their information.

He did what we requested him to do. We are happy with his work. We will recommend him to others and hire him again in future projects.

Being a very small business they did everything to earn our business. Were able to do work immediately and in 2 days. Great quality and worked around the clock. The only knock is their lack of administration. No formal estimate or invoice for work completed by them. I filled out both. Would recommend they pay attention to this since the cost of many fence projects are bourne by multiple property owners who demand formal estimates and invoices.

The contractor called me within minutes of my posting, came that day to assess the job made a reasonable estimate based on what we could see and scheduled the job for the next day. He arrived on time , did a thoroug evaluation and provided an updated estimate. BEgan work, completed it next day, was couteous, timely and cleaned up after job end. My comments: Zavala Construction consists of just one man, the owner Jose Zavala. He was very conscientious, did an excellent job under extreme heat - the temperature was 105 degrees! Cleaned up the area after the job. One other point: He gave us a price ahead of time, but it did not include the cost of supplies, which we did not know until the end. We would use him again!
