Ron's company did a wonderful job. They were always on time, very professional, and I felt the pricing was more than reasonable. His web address states he has a fabric store attached to his business and he said that is no longer the case. If he did not have fabric that one likes, you could buy your own fabric and he would use it on your furniture. Fortunately he had something I liked because his pricing on material is MUCH lower than UFO or Calico Corners. And the quality is excellent. He also is a La-Z-Boy specialist. I bought a chair from them the day after receiving my couch back and mentioned Ron's name and they spoke very highly of him and his work.

The project went very well. Ron brought fabric samples to my home. When I couldn't find a fabric I wanted in the samples he brought, he suggested a fabric store where I might also look. I did purchase the fabric from that store, so the cost I listed does not include most of the fabric. Ron was very creative about how to solve the problem of the seat of the frame sloping back. He had a wedge of foam cut, and then covered that wedge with fabric so it would blend in with the color of the wooden futon frame. The upholstered cushions rest on the foam wedge, and everything looks great. (The cost of the fabric to cover that wedge of foam is included in the cost I listed.) He had me come to his shop to check the progress at each step. If there was something that didn't appeal to me, he had it fixed by the next day. I am very pleased with the quality of his work, and I am very pleased with the overall experience.

Century Upholstery was out to give me a bid within a day or two of my phone call. The woman on the phone told me to expect about $1500 to recover my two-piece sectional. Upon looking at the sofa, Ron suggested I consider new cushions, since the old ones were really quite worn out and not supportive. He was clear about the additional charge for the new cushions. He also provided many sample stock fabrics I could choose from. Happily one of them was perfect. Since the sofa required 27 yards of fabric, using one of their stock fabrics saved a considerable amount of money. They picked up the old sofa and delivered the "new" one within the time frame they gave me. The sofa looks great and sits like a new piece of furniture. The workmanship is excellent. The only, very minor, issue I had was that scheduled appointment times tended to slip a bit, but I always received a call to let me know there would be a delay, and to ask if I would still be available. My guess is that they're exceptionally busy because their work is so good.

I called Century Upholsterers because of Angie's list recommendation. They were excellent, prompt, and knowledgeable. Ron came to the house with many samples for upholstering my antique sofa, loveseat, and chair. The returned these articles in a timely fashion. They made repairs on some century-and-a-half damaged wood in my sofa, at little additional cost (I had thought the wood in this sofa was beyond repair). I have never had such good work done. This is an outstanding company.

Everyone I dealt with was very polite. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely use this company again.

Although it was a a busy time of year, they performed the work quickly and met the time estimate I was given. The first upholstering was slightly crooked and they acknowledged that it didn't meet their high standards. The job was re-done and they paid for the replacement fabric. While it's unfortunate that it had to be re-done, I was impressed by the professionalism and the willingness to satisfy the customer. It was a slight error that another company might not have corrected. They didn't make any money on my job but they will make money when I go back to them or recommend them to others because I was impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction.

We had company coming for Thanksgiving and we got it to them pretty late but they were able to get everything back to us the day our company came. They are nearby, they came out with samples, and he had a lot of opinions that made a lot of sense on what kind of fabric to use. He took the chair away and got it back to us in a fairly short amount of time. The price was excellent; it was way lower than I was expecting. I am planning on using them again.

They had a good selection of fabrics. I found them to be rather friendly as well. They made the whole process really easy by picking up and delivering my recliner when they were done. The chair looks great!

After having my den painted, I decided to have the loveseat in the den reupholstered. After having excellent results from this firm on a previous occasion, I called them again. After giving me what I consider to be a reasonable quote, I gave them the job. Not only did they do great uphlostery work, but their employees are friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Connie, in the office, makes every effort to schedule appointments to suit your schedule, and Ron and his assistant always arrived within the 1 hour timeframe promised for the free estimate, pick-up, and delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Century Upholstery to anyone.

Everything was handled promptly and with good communication throughout. I used my own material and alas did not have enough. The factory back ordered and once Century received it, the job was finished quickly. What I appreciated was their offer to return the chairs to me with the finished slipcovers while awaiting the backordered fabric. Although I declined, I truly appreciated that throughout My needs were placed first. I selected this company based on the A List rating and customers comments. All were true as stated.

He came for an estimate the day after I called. He brought samples but I decided on a fabric I had seen elsewhere. He was fine with that. He took the chair and told me it would be ready in about 2 1/2 weeks. It was, in fact, ready in about 10 days. I'm very pleased with the work and would definitely use his services again. I also recommended him to a friend who is having work done too.

It is just Beautiful! I have had this chair re-upholstered 3 other times and it has never look this good. They made arm rest & head rest covers out of the same fabric and cleaned up the wood at the end of the arms and bottom feet. Now 'my old chair' looks so good in the living room. They called me a week before Christmas to say that it was done!

Ron came to my house and showed me tons of samples of fabric which I could select for the sofa. He buys the fabric at wholesale prices in bulk and passes the substantial savings onto the customers. I could have also selced a fabric from another store if I had wanted. But I found a fabric I liked in his supply. He and a helper took the heavy sectional down a fllight of stairs and to their worksite. It was returned 3 weeks later as promised. He hauled it up the stairs and placed it where I asked him to. It never looked better. He did a great job.

It was a pleasure working with Ron Hanak the owner, and his assistant, Connie. They go the extra mile to make sure you are pleased with the finished product.

Century did a superb job. They came to our home with swatches, we choose the fabric, and they took the chairs to the shop that day. It took 10 working days to complete, and they even delivered on a Sunday. They are very pleasant, congenial people, and the craftsmanship is flawless. The chairs are good as new. We purchased the chairs in 1989 for $1400. Considering present day prices for the same chair and Century's price, reupholstering with Century was a terrific investment.

THEY HELPED ME PICK OUT REMNANT FABRICS, WHICH KEPT THE PRICE DOWN. THEY CAME TO MY HOME TO PICK-UP AND DELIVER MY FURNITURE. THE FURNITURE TURNED OUT BEAUTIFULLY. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED.
