Ron did a great job fixing a fabric sectional sofa and ottoman. The cushions had gotten soft and the webbing sagged on a 6-year old sofa. The cushions were sewn in, and had to be resewn to replace them. Ron replaced the cushions with much firmer ones and added in a lot of new webbing underneath them. The sofa looks just like new, and is now much firmer and more comfortable than when we first got it 6 years ago! He also resewed a torn seam on the ottoman.

Century is a great Company, good pricing and fantastic quality and workmanship. We found Century through Angie's List and the reviews looked good. We set up an appointment with Ron and he brought a hugh selection of fabrics to choose from. He spent the time to discuss options for both color and some slight changes to style to bring the sectional to a more modern look. Once we agreed on a fabric Ron explained the quote in full detail, offered options that would impact the price and explained timing and process. Only one person works on the job that assures consistency throughout the project. We signed up, scheduled and had all the work done. Everything was done exactly as quoted and explained. When Ron delivered the finished job we were blown away. The work was on time, on price and beautifully done. We couldn't be happier and will both recommend and use them again without hesitation.

We called the company to find out an estimate to fix three upholstered chairs.We like the price, so we took the three chairs (one at the time) to be fixed. They did a fantastic job for less that the price quoted and in the promised time. The chairs look great!!

We visited the store. The owner came took pictures and measurements. We chose the fabric.The couch was picked up a week later when they were ready to start our job. Two and a half weeks laterwe got the couch back and we were very pleased with the finished product.

Ron gave me a quote over email based on photos I sent, the price was very competitive. Once I decided to use Century Upholstery I brought the chairs and seats in on Saturday and they were ready the following Thursday. Everyone was very professional and the final product looks fantastic in my dining room! I will use them in the future and have already recommended the company to multiple people.

I appreciate the fact that Ron is very professional and courteous -- even if he sometimes over promises how quickly he can deliver. He is very willing to accommodate, and has good instincts redarding colors, fabrics and design. And his prices are competitive. He also does not shy away from unusual projects.Thus far, I have probably given him at least $16,000 worth of business, and plan to continue to do so.

Century had reupholstered some benches in my office lobby. The job was so beautifully and professionally done and the company so highly recommended that we decided to have them do our reclining chair. We arrived at the store with measurements and a drawing. Ron said he would prefer to have the chair so he could be sure to do it right, even though it would mean picking it up and delivering it. He made suggestions about the firmness of foam for different parts of the chair, the type of finishing, etc. We chose a fabric sample from his selections; he encouraged us to take the sample home to see how it looked in the room. After two and a half weeks we received our chair back. It looks lovely in the living room, even better than expected, and feels comfortable. We found the whole experience easy and satisfying. We have used upholsterers before but this work is at a more professional level. We are considering having them reupholster a loveseat, if Ron tells us it's worth it to do so. I am also planning to have them redo my two office chairs.

It was a sincere pleasure to do busines with this company. Jaleesa in the office did an excellent job of reviewing the way the cushions could be redone. Ron, the owner, met with us and listened carefully to our needs and expectations. He created a small mock-up of the finished product so we could determine how it would feel. The cushions were completed in 3 days and delivered directly to my home at the time we agreed upon. The finished product exceeds our expectations, including restitching one of the coushions that had a small tear. The sofa now looks as new as it did when we bought it years ago. Their pricing was highly competitive with the other upholsterers I investigated. Their competitors were far less knowlegable about the product and not nearly as professional . Ron is a consummate professional and it is clear he has standards as high as my own. In summary, without reservation, I highly recommend doing business with Century Upholstery

Called and had the owner come out and do a quote. He used an i-Pad to create a clear and well documented quote that he immediately emailed to us. He even called his fabric supplier on the spot and confirmed how long it would take to get the fabric in. It took about a week. The leather chair came back overstuffed and they reworked it until it was comfortable. These guys are everything you want in a business: fast, straight forward and reasonable. Also had them make two pillows from some fabric we had.

They sent somebody out, picked up our chairs, did the work and delivered them. Everything was smooth and professional. Good selection of fabrics. I would use them again.

Because it was originally an expensive chair/ottoman, we decided to have it re-done. I had seen favorable review of this business, and called for an appointment. Ron came out as arranged and brought many fabric samples to look at. He is very experienced and was able to steer me away from fabrics that wouldn't stretch correctly. Finally settled on a nice fabric-it took just over two weeks to get it back, and we are very pleased. Additional padding was put into the seat and chair arms. I think the price was very fair-we used his stock fabric and it was reasonably priced. Ron is very professional and easy to work with.

Ron was very professional and did exactly what he said he was going to do. I already have an estimate for having my sofa reupholstered by Ron and he'll be picking it up next week and said the work would take a week and a half.

This is the third time we've reupholstered the couch in the 40 some years we have owned it. We had always had great difficulty finding contemporary fabrics in the sample books other upholsterers brought; we even bought our own fabric one time because the company had nothing in the style an color we wanted. Century had several books of contemporary fabrics; we had three different fabrics to choose from. They picked up the couch, showed us several grades of foam for the cushion, brought it back a week later and it looks great. They even oiled the wooden parts of the frame that show; no one else had ever done that so my husband usually had to do it.

I took the pillow in. We discussed it. They were out of the width of foam needed but would get it in in a couple of days. I called a couple of days later. The pillow was filled with new foam and wrapped with batting. The price was right. They did an excellent job. It took three or four days. I would only fault them on not calling me to tell me the pillow was ready.

Very frustrating to deal with them.

Ron came to my residence and looked at it said not as bad as he had figured,would cost alot less.Took the back with him called me within 24 hrs later, said "I'm here" can I open the gate it was done that quick and right .He Is VERY NIce and very responsive.I would recommend him to anyone.

Great company, good work, courteous, friendly, professional owner and staff, a very positive experience overall (some parts of job took longer than expected but it was worth it!)

Super, I dropped the chair off at their location in Mission Valley on A Saturday. They had a wide range of fabric to choose from. They gave me an estimate the following Monday and I had the chair delivered to me in about 2 weeks.

This company was so highly rated on Angie's List that I had some worries about how busy they might be and how quickly the work might be done. There was absolutely no problem! Ron came out within a couple days of my call to do an estimate and discuss fabric. When I told him about the fabric I was considering and the price of it, he told me to get the fabric from the store where I first saw it because the price was excellent. I did so and he came back that same week to pick up the sofa. He promised it in two weeks but knowing that we were expecting company and really needed the seating, he had the sofa back to us in just one week. What a great surprise that was! The fabric required careful matching and, because I didn't care for all the pillows along the back, Ron had, with my consent, designed back cushions - both the fabric matching and the new design came out beautifully. I will definitely use this company again for any upholstery work.

I went to the shop with photos of our cat-damaged furniture to see what they recommended. Ron was able to give me quotes from the photos and helped me pick out the right kind of upholstery. He picked up the items the next day and returned them in the time quoted. The furniture looks great and I really appreciated the personal service.

The work performed on the chairs were beautiful, and my husband and I were so pleased. After a couple of days, we realized that the chairs didn’t quite meet our comfort. Ron promptly returned our phone call, and came back the very next day. Without any hesitation he took the chairs back with him to be redone to our satisfaction. The chairs were completed with padding added to the front and back of the chair spine. It was unfortunate that the chairs had to be redone, but there was no additional charge for Ron to pick up the chairs and redo the padding. We were impressed with Ron’s professionalism, and appreciated his willingness to please. I would definitely recommend Century Upholstery.

We used Angie's List to select several upholstery companies. Century Upholstery was the first we called. They seemed good and based on the Angie's List recommendations we took our two bar stools for an estimate. The estimate seemed very fair and the selection of materials was very good so we agreed to have them do the work. The work was completed quickly and expertly. I couldn't be happier with the results. The next time that we need upholstery work they will get our business again.

My husband didn't blink so I guess the price was reasonable. The work was great. We took them in on a Thursday and they were done on Monday. They were quick, quick, quick. The work was beautiful. They made it quick and easy.

I was very pleased with the work. Connie was very helpful to me, advising me of ways to find the fabric I wanted at a lower cost. I found the fabric I wanted at a lower cost and brought it in to Century to do the work. The only blip was the amount of fabric needed was underestimated slightly so I had to purchase some more fabric. Notwithstanding, I was very satisfied with how quickly they turned the work around for me as I needed the work done before a family reunion/birthday celebration. The quality of the work was excellent. I will definitely use them again.
