He ran a test on the stove after cleaning to check operations and also instructed and educated me on the proper settings to give me the most efficient operation of the stove.

Description of Work: The owner came and cleaned my chimney; did a video scan of the whole inside of the chimney; and gave me estimates of various repairs that were needed. He was courteous, professional, and punctual. There was not a bit of soot left in the firebox, nor did any get in my house during the cleaning. My only problem was with scheduling the service in the first place. Several times no one answered the phone; when they did answer, they put me on hold for an extended period of time; and once I tried to schedule, the young lady who said she would get to me did not. I spoke at length to the owner about this, and he was unaware of the problem--he had a subcontractor doing his scheduling and had not been aware of the problem. He was very responsive and appreciative, and determined to correct the problem immediately. He was very aware that the "front office" personality of his company is the life's blood of the company. I will defintely use his company again, when it comes time to affect the repairs.

 + 0 moreByron came to our home after we had narrowed down our selection to two stoves. He measured the area to be used for the installation, told us the findings and gave us the pros and cons of each. (There were not many cons on either one.) We called and ordered the stove we wanted and Byron took it from there. Pick-up, delivery, installation of the stove and the chimney insert and instructions on how to use and do small maintenance. While he was here we asked if he would have time to perform the annual maintenance on our existing stove - that is 5 years worth of annual maintenance. He was happy to comply and reduced the price since he was already here.
Description of Work: Such professionalism is rare these days, but Byron is top-notch. He installed a new pellet stove and cleaned the one we currently own.1. Making sure to keep our home neat and tidy while completing his work in a timely manner seemed to be top priority with him.2. He was kind, but still he made sure we knew what needed to be done in the future.3. He looked us in the eye when talking to us to make sure we understood the instructions.4. He picked up the stove and all other parts to complete the job and never needed to leave because he forgot something.5. Any communication that he needed to have with others he made sure to take out of range of us so we did not feel uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this company for installations and maintenance.

 + -1 moreI called 2 chimney sweeps and this company had the proper certifications and able to give a good price. The receptionist was not able to answer all my questions, but I did get a call back from someone that was able to give the proper answers. I was quoted $250 and schedule my cleaning for 1 week away. David arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He cleaned both chimney and took approximately 1 hr. He explained his process and the results. Also helpful in providing suggestion on how to use the fireplace with a gas log. I would recommend.
Description of Work: Performed a chimney sweep and level 1 inspection.
