The floors are beautiful, gorgeous, and perfect!

He and his crew came in and were very professional. He did it exactly at what the quote was and they did an excellent job. My floors were 10 years old and now they look brand new.

It has been fixed before but broke again. Dustin came to my house, told me what was needed, bought the strip, stained it, then came back to my house, took out the old strip and installed the the new one. It looks great. I am happy. Good service.

Joe and his team did an outstanding job. Matching the current hardwood floor in the family room was not easy. Joe managed to find a manufacture that came close and blended the floors together beautifully. The team prepped the rooms to be done daily, wrapping floor to ceiling in plastic to protect cabinets, drapes etc. Always prompt, informing me of the scope of work to be completed each day. Tile was in the entry, Kitchen, and bathroom, which all had to be removed, floors sanded and sealed before the wood could be installed. The floor itself has over 52 corners, which mean't there was a lot of cutting and fitting involved which they did masterfully. New baseboards were installed not only in all of the new flooring areas but in the family room so it would all match. Dustin oversaw the Team of Frank, Dan, and Rick in the beginning, but little supervision was needed as all were very professional including the additional installers towards the end which unfortunately I do not remember their names. The guys removed and replaced furniture that was too heavy for me to lift and put up with my dog Ted who always had to be in the action, not to mention leaving footprints in the floor leveling glue. I couldn't be happier with this installation and give Joe and his installers the highest recommendations.

Joe's flooring is the best vendor we have worked with so far on our home remodel. Walking into a new house with old carpets and hardwood underneath, they were able to turn our floors into perfection. We were not sure it would even be possible to have nice hardwood floors. They were covered in glue, paint, carpet foam. The baseboards were old. They re-did everything to perfection. They were on time, professional and so easy to work with. They were always happy and friendly. And they worked long and hard to get things done for us on a deadline. They completed the project on time. The baseboards matched up perfect. They replaced old boards that needed replacing. They guided us through the entire process. I could call Joe on his cell and ask him anything I needed and he was happy to help me, I never felt rushed off the phone. We pulled three bids and these guys came in under everyone else and they were the most professional. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone and we're going to have them do other parts of the house. If you don't hire these guys for your hardwood needs, you'd be missing out big time. Great, good people and perfect work.

I found Joe on Angie's list & had read reviews, so my expectations were high. Joe's crew was FANTASTIC in every respect. They were polite, accommodating and punctual. But most importantly, they did FANTASTIC work. The floors look stunning.

We asked Joe to inspect the home in the spring and selected him as our flooring contractor having first obtained another bid from a highly rated competitor. Joe Stutzman's presentation was first rate; his recommendation for the flooring itself matched what we wanted. Since we live in Anchorage, we necessarily dealt with most of this by e-mail and telephone. Joe installed the floors while were out-of-state. The new floors are fabulous--the quality is first rate and the installation very professional. Now that we're back in Vista, Joe is coming out to inspect and provide us with some floor care advice. Our experience has been excellent throughout.

Joe gave an estimate on refinishing the floors in our North Park home. His quote was slightly higher than the other two we got, so we ultimately went with another contractor. In retrospect, Joe's estimate likely reflected more accurately the cost of the boards that would have to be replaced. He was professional and friendly, and answered all our questions.

Joe responded by email and phone with a general quote for the work. Because of a number of business trips and appointments, the work was scheduled at our convenience. Refinished wood floors were desired for a long time but put off because of the hassle involved in moving furniture and limited access to bathroom, etc. Finally decided to do it and chose Joe based on the Angie's List ratings and comments. The professionals arrived on time, were courteous and most important did a great job - friendly and talented and we appreciate their effort. The patched area is undetectable. We would definitely use them again for our refinishing needs.

We called Joe's Hardwood Floors and they were good but we decided to go with a company our contractor suggested

Since we live in a downtown condo community, there are quite a few HOA regulations surrounding hardwood floor installation. Joe understood them all, and explained what would be needed to satisfy these requirements. This was particularly helpful when I was submitting the architecture application to the HOA board. Due to an emergency within my family, Joe was able to work around a few things in order to get our flooring completed in a timely manner. Joe and his crew were great throughout the process! It took roughly a week to complete the job. There were a couple of things that needed attention afterwards, and Joe's crew quickly addressed them. The floors look great and really opens our place up. We get compliments all the time. All in all, Joe was very responsive by email and phone, and he was a pleasure to work with. I trust his work and I will definitely use him for future jobs!

Great experience. Joe came over on time and gave me a quote within a day. He was able to match the wood and took diligent notes on what we wanted done. His recommendations were sound and in one are, recommended against hardwood in favor of leaving the tiles that were already down. He was excellent with communications and his crew showed up on time, kept a clean work area, and finished on time with no surprises. Overall, an excellent experience. Joe was incredibly patient and detailed when dealing with the HOA of my condo. They required confirmation that a certain level of sound proofing be used. He was very helpful in getting the authorization required to carry out the work. He worked with me on a tight time frame when the condo was vacant. The men showed up on time, were very friendly, and respectful of my directions concerning entering and leaving the building. All went well until I returned to check and see how the flooring looked. I hated it! I let Joe know and he was extremely responsive to my distress. We met the next day to discuss again what I wanted. While his workers ripped up the portion of flooring that I did not like he went to buy the replacement. They finished the job with just one extra day needed. It looks great and I love my new floor. Joe has good people working for him. The quality of the product and the workmanship is excellent.

We began the project by getting quotes - Joe was the first person to respond to my calls. He was fast, courteous, and answered all of our questions. It was pretty obvious that he know all the details involved with the hardwood floor process, because his responses were consistent with everything else we heard about the process. Best of all, his price was very competitive with the other quotes (and we got the Angie's list discount!) In addition, our project had a tight deadline, and after discussing it with Joe he said that he could meet the deadline. Based on all of this, and Joe's promptness and availability to answer our questions, we decided to go with him. Joe's team were always polite and prompt, and they kept us up to date with the progress. Our job had small challenges (doors needed to be shaved, weather stripping replaced, etc.) and the team was able to deliver with flying colors. They moved all of the furniture out and then back as expected, and covered all of the areas that were not part of the project. The finished job looks fantastic, and the experience was was very positive for us. Best of all, Joe was able to meet our deadline - which is very much appreciated. I have had floors done before in a prior home, and this experience was by far more friendly and professional. It was also pretty obvious that Joe was on top of things and communicated with his crew on a constant basis, and personally took care of matters whenever necessary. Very professionally done. Workman were all very accommodating, capable and pleasant. They were very helpful in moving furniture and offering to help make the area livable during the process.

Once we pulled the trigger, Joe was ready to go the following Monday, but we decided it was better to prep for painting before refinishing, so put him on hold for two weeks (start 5/13), which he was able to accommodate us on. It also gave us time to consider the future transition from hardwood to tile (DIY - Joe will come back to do the transition after I finish the tile). 5/13 It is going to be a hot one. Promised to reach high 90s where we live. To open the floor plan a little, we knocked down a non-bearing pony wall in the entrance way, along with removing a bookshelf between kitchen and LR. There was nothing but subfloor under the pony wall, while the bookcase was mounted on top of the original hardwood and linoleum, which means that, in the DR/kitchen area, there are really three layer of vinyl/linoleum on top of 1/2" plywood, on top of subfloor. Joe called on Sunday evening to confirm that he would be by around 8:30 to get started. He actually got here around 8:10, by himself, to look things over. We discussed the DR/kitchen and where he would be filling the space left by the pony wall removal; he suggested it might be easier for us to simply cut and pry up the old subfloor rather than continue to spend days trying to heat and scrape up the existing tile to save the existing floor. He offered to have his guys cut up a section to help me get started - they ended up giving me a 12" starter row all the way around the edge of the transition area. Joe left, his guys arrived within 15 minutes - three very friendly and upbeat guys who loved my dogs, and showed what great craftsmen they were over the next few days. At the end of the first day, Joe came back to discuss replacing several pieces of wood where there had been a metal transition piece nailed down between the dining room and living room, which we agreed on replacing after I sent photos to SO. 5/14 Another hot day. Jason, Joe and Dan arrived around 8:30, replaced the necessary boards and had the first coat of poly on before leaving the house sealed up for the night in mid-afternoon. 5/15 Joe came by again around 8 a.m.Wednesday morning, and we both got a good look at the area that had been replaced, which had not blended well wit the 55 yo original red oak. We discussed it for awhile, then he left and when his guys got there, they both agreed that it needed to be redone, which put us back a little bit time-wise, but ended up looking MUCH better than it had, so they got my OK, then put the second coat of poly on. 5/16 Final coat of poly late in day; looking very nice... 5/17 Joe stopped by around 8:30 to check everything out. Patched area looks great now; overall it is a beautiful job, especially with the satin finish. Sure you can see faint nail holes from crazy people who tacked wall-to-wall over hardwood in the last 50 years, but the natural finish lightens up the whole house. Plus, he'll come back to make the transition pieces once I finish the tile project later this year. Great job!

Joe's Hardwood Floors did a quote for me on March 19th. The quote was for $ 1650. with the discount from Angie's list. He was very punctual, he was very thorough and seemed to know what he was doing, what he was talking about. I liked him very much, except that his quote was about $500 more than the other two quotes I got. I would definately consider him again if the price is more in line, defintely.

From the start I could tell that Joe had the experience and knowledge in dealing with wood floors. He never tried to "sell" me more than I needed. Especially when we were dealing with the areas that were stained. He stated that some of the areas would be dealt with in the sanding process and others may not be as crucial. He was absolutely correct. When the work begin, they started on time, took care to cover certain areas that did not need to get the dust from the sanding. His men were professional and cleaned after themselves. I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of job they did. Although we started out with several stains at the beginning once Joe's crew completed the work, you could not even tell were the stains were. They did an amazing job and I was thoroughly please with the final product. I would definitely recommend them.

I had four different vendors come in and three of them wanted to charge thousands of dollars and Joe kind of explained how to actually take care of my floor which what I really needed. He's extremely honest, very professional and my floors are fine a year later, so I really trust him.

I would have loved to take advantage of the special provided by this company for Angie's list customers, but they do not return my calls.

Everything went really well. They even finished a day early. I asked them to deliver the base boards early so I could paint them before they installed them and they did. Frank, Josh, and Dan did a great job and worked really hard each day. They even vacuumed the drive way to remove the saw dust each day from cutting the boards. The floors look beautiful! We got a discount for being an Angie's List member. He was great. He was really honest and he was punctual. He had a lot of integrity. He had a disabled person on his team that was deaf and I really liked that. We would absolutely use them again.

The company was very responsive and we set-up a time for an estimate within a few days of contacting them. Joe asked what I needed and explained the process thoroughly. A quote was in my email box within 24 hours and we set a date. The gentlemen arrived promptly the day of the service, performed the work flawlessly and returned the next day to make sure I was happy and the floor was "curing" properly. They were great!
