Description of Work: Replaced a large portion of a previously installed hardwood floor that was damaged as the result of a water leak from a kitchen refrigerator ice maker. Joe helped deal with the insurance company (who would have screwed me something fierce without his assistance)and provided a flawless install that seamlessly blended into the previously installed flooring.

Description of Work: Excellent experience. Prompt service. Workmen were cooperative, polite, informed and professional in approach. Very pleased with the quality of work performed.

Description of Work: Called Joe for pricing sanding all my engineered floors as well as a price to redo a kitchen floor. Have made decision to not sand all floors as it's a huge job. But, if issues regarding our insurance can be resolved I would definitely work with Joe. |He was professional and knew immediately when our flooring was. Gave us good advice. Description of Work: I had a horrible experience with the company that originally laid my wood floor. They left gaps between the boards and left a film of smeared caulking all over the floor. I tried to get the haze off the floor and was not very successful. We were also having to caulk between the boards. Very depressing considering how expensive the African Mahogany flooring was. I got tired of dealing with this company and their non concern to fix the flooring. | |So I hired Joe's Hardwood to help me fix my flooring. I wish I would have had them do the original work. I went through a remodel recently and I found Joe and his crew to be the most punctual, professional, and they were very detailed in repairing my floor including filling in scratches that are already appearing on my floor. Joe's price was reasonable and he is very knowledgable. Joe even showed up to check on the job while it was being performed. If I ever need help or decide to put in more hardwood flooring I will definitely call Joe. Thanks so much Joe for helping me resolve my problems.

Description of Work: Installed Acacia wide plank engineered flooring. I had previously purchased the wood as part of a whole house flooring renovation. I had my slab leveled (floated)...by my Travetine installer ( mistake!) I learned after the fact, there is a special concrete product wood installers use/ different from stone application. Joe was straight forward about the potential issues caused by leveling floor with the wrong type of overlayment. Joe outlined his plan and confirmed the recommended course of action by consulting his product rep. To fully disclose, my slab is considered to be high moisture content. The moisture level is the reason we decided to scale back the amount of wood we installed. However, had I talked to Joe originally....and had I learned of the prep products out that can be applied to slabs and protect the wood from moisture......I would have installed more wood and less Travetine. Joe and his installers Dustin and Hans are professional, on time, clean and foremost take pride in their wood...ha ha oops work! I Highly, highly, recommend Joe' s hardwood flooring! |

Description of Work: Joe's Hardwood sanded and reapplied an oil base finish. It was a three day process and it couldn't have gone better. They were prompt each day, personable and great to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat

Description of Work: My floors were installed my another company and they are buckling badly. I emailed Joe and he contacted me within the hour. I read his reviews and was impressed. He came and looked at my problem and advised me on steps I should take to get my problem taken care of. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would use him in a heart beat.

Description of Work: We were seeking a 2nd opinion about the need to install a new wood floor in the kitchen and family room and Joe was most helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He also felt that the current contractor was better suited to do the work because they had influence with their sub-contractors. When the need arises in the future, I will definitely contact Joe.
