So June 19th our 20-year-old AC compressor died. The last two years it was kept going by Alicia Air (thanks for honest service), so when they determined it was dead, we figured to give them a chance to replace the HVAC system. Gary was our sales man, and to be honest, he was very professional and treated us like you would a family member or friend. I had done research and had a little knowledge, but Gary gave us every option and did not try to sell us what we did not need/want and worked with our budget. The install today was smooth. Paul and his crew showed up on time, took care to protect our carpet/house and got the new system up and running by 4:00pm. I cannot recommend Alicia Air enough. We used them for service for years, but from the office staff, to the sales staff and the install crew, they were great. Thank you! Now to pay for the new system :)

Article VII of Alicia Air?s Additional Terms and Conditions states: ?Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney's and court cost in any action to enforce the performance of this contract or any of its terms, covenants or conditions.?? When asked to strike this clause or change it to mutually equitable verbiage; they refused stating that nothing could be changed ? even when told this was a ?deal-breaker? clause.? They lost my project.? But, interested HVAC homeowners and buyers should know and understand that this clause has the same effect as opening your checkbook to this contractor. ?No matter what is written in the contract, they can sue you for anything involving this purchase or installation ? and you will be required to pay for your attorney, their attorneys and all court costs.? Any litigation will cost this company nothing ? whether they win or lose. ?This is a giant red flag.? No matter what their initial quotation states, it will cost them nothing to sue you for more.? Do NOT do business with a company that will not treat you fairly and equitably from the very beginning.

Great. The company representative was extremely helpful. He was very patient and thoroughly explained every detail. And he came out during installation to see if we had any questions. He should get a raise.

These guys are scam artists. They told me I needed either $900 worth of repair or a brand new unit (which, of course, they recommended). I got a new company to take a look at it. They got the unit working and it cost me $80 for a service call. I will NEVER use them again!

They first suspected the controller board on the furnace. Came back a couple days later with a replacement board but it did not help. They came back the third time and spent two hours searching for the root cause. It turns out to be the Nest thermostat I installed a couple years back. They only charged me for the diagnostics. I felt I owe the tech a nice tip which I did give him. Will use them again.

They were very professional, punctual and they answered all my questions.

I called Alicia Air for a "second opinion" on my furnace. Another company had come out and had told me I needed a new furnace due to a crack in the heat exchanger.. I resisted his sales pitch and told him I'd think it over I discussed the issue with a friend who suggested I have Alicia Air.come out and look at the furnace. This friend had actually worked for Alicia Air when he was in college, and he spoke very highly of the company and their work. Alica Air came out a few days later. Their tech said that the "crack" I had been shown was actually a seam in the exchanger, and, after inspecting the entire system, he said there was nothing at all wrong. Needless to say, Alicia Air became my provider for regular semi-annual maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. They are pleasant, prompt, reliable and knowledgeable. They are family-owned and some of the family members work in their office. Here's an example of how nice they are to deal with: In May 2013 I called Alicia Air to come and give my A/C an inspection because I was going to be selling my home and I wanted to make sure the A/C was running fine. They suggested that I wait until the house is in escrow, because an inspection would be performed as part of the selling process, so I would save the amount of the service call. I very much appreciated that advice, and so Alicia didn't get to do the job. Alicia Air is great, and I have recommended Alicia Air to others. If I hadn't moved out of the area I would still be using them.

Work went fine with no extra charges.

They were very professional the whole way through, from getting estimates to answering questions, to doing the actual work and follow up. Their prices were very competitive, and they were able to get us on their schedule quickly to get the work done.

They removed old furnace and replaced ducting in 2008. We had 4 bids for the job and found Alicia Air to be the most knowledge and the price fair. We have had no problems with the furnace or the automatic thermostat. Both Mike Brown, the General Manager and the workmen were professional. We would absolutely recommend the company and use their services again. I put in today's date, because the calendar does go back to 2008. We have never had to contact the company since 2008.

So I selected another Angie's List provider - Empire Heating & Plumbing - and they are now my contractor of choice. They were outstanding and I took out a maintenance contract with them to boot.

There service has been consistently good. I highly recommend them.

The repairman was prompt and very professional...This was the first repair i have had with the heater/ac unit that they installed several years ago. The installation was an excellent experience as well.

Bill,the owner, came out to do an annual tune up/ maintenance on our two furnaces. He was very professional and friendly. He also wrote down the size of filters so I could keep some on hand and where to order them at a discount. He called to let me know he was on his way before his arrival. Scheduling was easy and they were able to come out in a reasonable time frame. I will call again in the future and recommend them.

Alicia Air has come out on many services calls on several properties over the years. They have done everything from install a new heating and air conditioning system to clearing an a/c condensation line and an annual system check. I find them friendly, punctual, clean and honest. I would, and do, recommend them.

They priced their services and retail product too high

They determined what was wrong with the AC system, which was the fan coil unit. They removed the old unit and installed new unit in one day. When finished, they left the area extremely clean and the cabinet that housed the unit needed a portion of the front removed looked the same as it did when they started. |Prior to calling Alicia Air, I had called another company that serviced the area in which I live and they gave me an appointment 2 weeks out...then called me the day before my appointment date and canceled, stating they were having too many requests to install systems and suggest I call back later in the year. When I called Alicia Air, they gave me an appointment a week ahead, but called the next morning stating they could assist me that day. From the office personnel to the field personnel, they were terrific, very professional, friendly, efficient and reasonable cost wise which is important as I live in a retirement community and on a fixed income. I would recommend Alicia Air to anyone with AC problems!

All new forced air and ac. The house has never been so comfortable.

They installed an air conditioning unit. Ducting was changed in order to accommodate the space. One problem I had was with the changing of the filter. The filter is hard to remove and replace and I cut myself getting it out one time. Something is bent making it hard to remove. My date of service was 9/7/2007. However, my sister used Alicia Air this summer for a new air conditioning unit and it seems to work quite well.

They did the inspection and the individual said he'd get back to me with a proposal in the next couple of days. I didn't hear back from them and I had to call to follow up, they eventually told me they were too busy to write the proposal. They did apologize, but they wasted my time, it was poor business.

They did a good job. They hauled away the old unit when they left. They cleaned up after they completed the installation. They were very accommodating with scheduling the service.
