I hired Specialty Design Coatings to correct the sub standard work and they did a fantastic job at less money than the original contractor. Kaveh contacted me within 10 mins of my quote request. Came to the house within the hour and gave me a quote . Started work the next day. Right on time, Kaveh was present to get the job started and introduced me to the workers. Oscar and Dave were very professional and explained the process through out the day. Did an outstanding job by repairing and enhancing two areas which had become a safety trip hazard. Great job! My only suggestion is for Kaveh to invest in a P.O.S. ( Point of sale) App such as SQUARE or other similar app to make receiving payment much easier and expedient. They send you a free card reader to plug right into your cellphone.. Just a thought. I haven't had to write out an actual check to anyone in over 2 years. Keep up the great work guys.

We needed extensive repair work on our large patio and walkway concrete topping, originally installed in 2007. First, Kaveh responded and showed up on time to give us an estimate and technical advice. He knows his stuff about decorative concrete. After accepting his estimate, the work crew (Oscar and Dave) worked very hard over 4 days to totally repair the topping and blend the colors of the repairs into the existing work. (It is a multi-color faux-paver topping). They really took pains to get it right and did not stop until we were totally satisfied (and then some). They were also on time every day and very considerate of our home. Kaveh was very easy to get in touch with whenever we needed him and he always responded quickly. We are very happy with the work and would not hesitate to recommend Specialty Design Coatings to anyone needing professional decorative concrete work.

Kavi and his crew did a great job on my very old patio. They were punctual, efficient, informative and courteous . My neighbor has taken his card for future work.

Overall looks great/definitely a huge improvement - the guys worked very hard, were timely and did a good job of cleaning up. What the contractor described was not exactly how it went. We had to add cost to stain/vs paint on coating which we did not know until they finished the resurface part. Oscar did a great job of trying to get the finish I wanted. BE AWARE - The resurface concrete mix is very sensitive - it picks up permanent water/drainage stains that get imbedded into the surface.

Very happy with the resurface and staining of my patio. It is exactly what they said it would be and what I wanted. Very polite nice people .

Unfortunately, we incurred rain damage(dripping from patio cover)on newly poured stamped concrete for our back yard. Original contractor attempted to fix it, but only made it worse. Unfortunately, we had made final payment to him, and that was the last we saw of him. Contacted Kaveh at Specialty Design Coatings. His crew was professional, patient,meticulous and hard working. They even re-created the original texture of the damaged stamped concrete. Oscar and Antonio are concrete masters! You won't be disappointed with their work!

Kaveh was really attentive and easy to work with. The team did a great job and were very friendly. The entire project was right on schedule despite having several days of rain. Definitely would use them again!

Specialty Design Coatings did a great job on my backyard. I had a fairly difficult job, with 40 yr old concrete around my pool, decking and basketball court. The highest priority was the concrete around my pool that was cracking and breaking away. I had other bids to cut away the entire perimeter of my pool and re poor new concrete, but I knew this would not match the rest of my concrete and would look terrible next to the old weathered and cracked concrete everywhere else. Kaveh came up with the great idea of breaking away all the loose concrete, and the drilling and doweling rebar into to the decking and patching all the broken edging in place. We knew the patches would not match perfectly so he suggested coloring the entire deck with a concrete stain. In addition there were countless other cracks that were cut out and repaired and then ground down smooth. There were also several uplifted areas that were also ground down flush with the connecting concrete to prevent tripping. I never would have thought that they could make my old damaged concrete look good again. I am very thankful for his creativity in solving my problems without having to spend 10s of thousands of $ to remove and replace all my concrete. It is certainly not new, but he set clear expectations upfront of what it would look like and I am happy with the outcome overall. Most of all I am happy to have it done. I had several people bid on this before Specialty Design Coatings and none of them offered a reasonable solution to my problem. On top of all that, his crew was great to work with. They were on time, put in full days and were patient with all my questions along the way. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Specialty Design Coatings is a top notch professional organization with excellent customer service. I had my driveway resurfaced and the rest of the concrete around the house power washed. The work crew was friendly, competent and very attentive to detail. They were respectful of our property, the landscaping and were thorough in their work. They did an excellent job and were available to answer all of our questions when we had them. I would highly recommend Specialty Design Coatings and will not call anyone else should I have additional needs.
