Project: Resurface pool deck area, patio and driveway. Kaveh and his crew were outstanding. Kaveh was on site every day and did not leave until all questions I had were answered. Oscar and the two other crew members were always courteous, friendly and ready to explain every procedure. At the end of each days work they always cleaned up and never left a mess. They were always ready for work at 0800 and put in a full days work. Initially, I did not know what to expect. but the final product was absolutely outstanding. Some of the contractors I contacted first did not even return my calls. Kaveh was not the first but I was fortunate in that he was my final choice. I might add, that every time I called Kaveh it was he who picked up the call and that is important to me. Everyone in my family was amazed at the quality of the work. The backyard as well as the patio and drive look new. I would recommend Kaveh without a doubt to anyone planning on renewing their deck or other surface.

Over the last 7 years we contracted with three other companies to revitalize our hardscape. We opted for Westcoat products and the results were good but not great. We recently hired Specialty Design Coatings and the results are great! Their incredible knowledge of color and material application coupled with their truly remarkable attention to detail pervades every aspect of their work from preparation to execution and finish. To say our grounds are now impeccable is vastly understated . And it doesnâ t stop there. The owner, Kaveh, is always on call to address any concern or aspect of any situation that may arise. His hands-on approach to customer satisfaction feels more like family than a business arrangement. He stays in touch AFTER the project is complete. Heâ s extremely proactive and after the hit and run experiences with three other companies this was a revelation. This was the first time we actually had a company that cared for and respected our property as much as we do. The experience was amazing. In fact weâ re now contemplating a garage project!

They were courteous, compitent, and completed the job in record time even though we had hail rain lightening and thunder.

Kaveh and his team were professional, timely, and detail-oriented from start to finish! I cannot say enough positive things about his work and dedicated crew! He has well-deserved amazing reviews for a reason. We had a complicated job which required stair case repair to our skirt board as well as paining. We recently changed from carpeted stairs to hardwood and there were holes along the skirt board near the old stair nose that needed to be filled. Additionally, our entire staircase was a dark red mahogany-colored wood that made the space look darker and smaller. Some less experienced painters suggested caulking the holes, which we knew was a terrible fix! Kaveh and his team knew exactly how to fill and sand the area to make it look like the damage never happened! He was also the only person to call out the need to use a good color blocking primer given the stain and intensity of the wood. They carefully taped everything and left the railings balusters the red mahogany color and then painted the spindles, skirt boards, and risers white. The finished result is perfection! The space looks clean, brighter, and more inviting. I wish I could post a before and after picture here! To top it all off they not only did fantastic work but stuck to their timeline. They worked hard, stayed late on Friday, and did not let any detail on quality slide. If you are debating between Specialty Design Coatings and another company stop now and go with this one! You will not be disappointed. Thank you again Kaveh and Specialty Design Coating team for your fantastic work - the care, effort and pride you put into your work makes it a showstopper! It is hard to find a good painter that can tackle a hard job - trust me I interviewed A LOT!! We will hire this company again for future projects!

Owner Kaveh is seriously a painter artist along with assistant Max. I had a picture of the bbq countertop that I wanted them to duplicate. Kaveh said send it and I will do it. He did to the max. We are thrilled with the outcome and their work. If you want something special for your cement staining, Specialty Design Coatings for sure.

Great experience start to finish! We had another painter bale on us after contracting to paint our recently purchased Laguna Woods condo. Specialty Design Coatings fit us in on short notice and painted the entire interior (lots of prep, sanding, etc.) Oscar and his crew were diligent, professional, skilled and very pleasant. Specialty Design Coatings was very professional, reliable and did a great job in repairing the cracks in our concrete, refinishing, repainting, and resealing our stone. They worked diligently throughout the project, and continuously worked each day. Oscar, the Project Manager, was easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable. The owner also stopped by to ensure everything was going well. The results of their work was outstanding.
