We needed a new sliding glass door for our house. We noticed that DialOne was one of Angie's highest rated providers (and they offered all Angie's List referrals 5% off), so we gave them a call, letting them know I was an Angie's list referral. I'm a big DIY'er. Normally I would have done this job myself, but I had recently injured my back. Before the injury, however, I had priced out how much a double-glazed composite 10' door would be at both Lowe's and Home Depot. It was about $1,100 at the time.DialOne was punctual for all our appointments. The estimate came in at $2,443. I thought this was a fair price, as I expect the labor to be at least 100% of the parts. Before the window arrived (but after I'd given my 50% deposit), I noticed they had not put the 5% discount on my bill. I called and spoke to the owner about this. He hemmed and hawed, clicked around on a calculator, and then said that we were already getting a 50% off deal on the cost of the door, and he couldn't afford to give me a better discount. I'm sorry, Mr. DialOne, but I wasn't born yesterday. First, do you expect me to believe that you were having a 50% off sale, and you neglected to tell me as a selling point while writing up the initial estimate? Second, do you expect me to believe that you are paying twice the retail price I was quoted at both Lowe's and Home Depot? (I picked a high-quality door @ both stores: double glazed, low-e glass, argon gas filled, composite frame.) The fact is, you just forgot to give me the discount. Be a man about it. If you had just been honest you would have had my repeat business. You could have offered to meet me halfway. Heck, if you had even said that the offer is no longer valid but Angie's List erroneously left it on the site, I might have bought that. But you lied. Too bad, you did good work, but you will not get any repeat business from me.

We had initially scheduled with Dial One to have the windows installed in early December 2011; however, about a week before the job was to start, we received a phone call to advise us that the sliding glass door had not been ordered. We were given the choice to have the french doors and sidelights installed on schedule, or to wait and do entire job; when the sliding glass door arrived (scheduled to deliver approx. 2nd week in January 2012). We opted to have all windows installed in January 2012 to avoid having to pull permits twice, and take additional time off from work. Once the job was underway, the Dial One employees (including the Operations Manager who did all of the scheduling and communications) who did the demo and installation, followed by the dry wall contractor, and the then the lath contractor all did great jobs, and made sure the interior and exterior finishes matched what was there before. They cleaned up the work area each day and advised when they would return. Completion of the job took a little longer than anticipated due to delays in scheduling the Huntington Beach building inspectors. The job required a total of 3 building inspections and took roughly 2 weeks to complete. We are really impressed with the difference the new windows make in the warmth of the rooms, and the outside sound suppression. For future window projects, we would definitely work with Dial One Window Replacement Specialists again.

Dial One and especially our Design Consultant, Kara Kosinski, were just top notch. We researched window & door companies until the information overflowed. Had 3 quotes as per usual and though Dial One was more pricey in the end we decided it was worth it - And I'm glad we did. I would recommend going into the showroom several times to look at the windows and glass as it needs to be 'mulled over' to choose the right style for you and your home. Overall the process was seamless, every installer that came to our home was professional and courteous and they all cleaned up after the work was done - not typical in home remodeling! We will use them again to install more windows when we are ready. Highly recommend.

Our home remodel required many decisions, but we are 100% confident that the best decision we made was choosing Dial One Renewal by Anderson-and that is a great feeling. The product, the price and service far exceeded all our expectations. Therefore we highly recommend this product and company...where else does the president of a company come to your home for final measurement and inspection upon completion of the job. Clearly this is the best purchase in our 43 years of marriage!

1. Visited their beautiful showroom. 2. Very helpful staff 3. Salesman came out to property to explain the product and helped me select trim etc. 4. Owner came out latter to verify measurement and answer any questions 5. Product came in on time. 6. Installer prompt and cleaned up afterwards. Because home older and originally had lead paint, as required by law, they had to seal the work area. 7. City inspector reviewed door. It passed. Company set up the inspector for me. 8. One glitch the hardware was late coming in. So, they installed temporary hardware. 9. Came back a few days later and installed new hardware and on the same day their painter came out to touchup door trim. Very positive experience.

Wonderful. The sales rep was great, the owner of the company was great and so were the installers. No complaints. We didn't feel like they were trying to sell us something we didn't need. They listened to what we wanted and delivered.

We have had Dial One install windows in the past and have been happy with the quality and excellent Customer Service. This new installation only had one exception to that. When we called at the estimated install date to find out if the windows had arrived at their plant, we were told the windows arrived two weeks earlier. They said someone from their office called us and left a message to that effect. We received no message and were very unhappy that no one followed up during the two weeks our windows were sitting there re our apparent lack of response to their message by contacting us again. That said, everything else was performed with their usual professionalism. Dial One is very Customer Service oriented and always follows up after installation to make sure their customers are happy. In this case, our new Andersen windows, though very high quality, are also very heavy, and do not automatically come with any handles to help slide them open. When we mentioned this problem, they set up appointment and installed handles for each window, free of charge. The pricing of the windows seems high to me, but I'm probably way outdated as to current window prices. And, since the quality of the windows is excellent, we are happy with our purchase.

Dial One provided one of the best home improvement experiences I have ever had. They are not cheap - so if you are looking for the same bargain basement white vinyl replacement windows that the door to door salesman assures you are top quality, well don't bother wasting your time here. They only use Renewal by Andersen, which is a top quality replacement window that doesn't look at all like a replacement window - you get what you pay for! Everything from the initial estimate, the detailed measurements (which are necessary because each window is custom made to your specific opening by Andersen) to the install was totally painless. The only complaint I have is the vinyl trim pieces they install around the interior edges is cheap and starts to fall off after a couple years. Not the same quality as the windows themselves, unfortunately.

Outstanding company to work with. Every step of the job was handled with professionalism and respect for the customer. I've worked with many contactors over the years and very few can match the quality of workmanship, the responsiveness, punctuality, and overall excellence of Dial One. Thank you to Charlie and his entire team for making what could have been a very unpleasent experience manageable.

They were knowledgeable and expensive. The salesman was kind of pushy.

I watch over an elderly neighbor and help her with making decisions on repairs etc. in her home. She asked me to help her make a decision on a new sliding door to her back yard. She was having difficulty opening her old door. I recommended Dial One Windows because my next door neighbor had a good experience with them. My neighbors had their entire house redone and were very pleased with this company. I arranged to have Dial One come out and quote the door replacement. They got the job and did the work in a timely manner. My elderly neighbor was very pleased with the new door and is now able to enjoy her back yard again.

I can not say enough about how great this Company is. Dial One is truly a first class Company. From the moment we were greeted in the Showroom through the completion of the installation we were treated with such great customer service and care. The Installers were true craftsman and paid attention to every detail and concern we had. We have had many contrators and projects done in our home, by far Dial One is the best company I have ever dealt with. They are realiable, effecient and professional. There 25 years of service sure does show in everything they do. I would recommend Dial One to anyone looking for replacement windows and/or doors. I had a fine experience working with Dial One. They came out on time. The employees were fine to work with. The service has been fine and has held up since they came out. The price was competitive.

I visited their showroom and was very impressed with their display of products. One can visually see how each and every product will look like, including their mouldings. I was impressed with their sales rep's (Norm Tuazon) presentation and the attention to different options and details. The installers were excellent and took care of every detail without even having to mention anything. They were very meticulous and timely. They have good follow up and want to address any situations that you might have a problem or question with. Dial One was eager to take care of any unusual or specific situations. Since their Anderson windows are a composite of wood and vinyl, they can be stained. I wanted my bay window and front door to be painted white on the outside and wood stained in the interior as I have a lot of oak wood in my living room and throughout the house. They were the only ones who were able to accomplish this particular situation as their product is a composite of wood and vinyl which allows for a look of wood and yet be maintenance free because of the combination of the vinyl content. I was very pleased with this type of product as opposed to vinyl only. A unique product which I believe only Anderson windows have. I had visited other contractors who would only provide the door and the staining would have to be done by me which I do not believe is very good customer service. The wood staining was stained by hand and not sprayed on and had a beautiful finish.

The experience was flawless. The level of care, preparation and customer service was fantastic. They were willing to stand behind the job. I would hire them again.

They provide a 20 year warranty. I had to have them come out for a repair on a door. They seem to have repaired it very shoddily, I am having them back out to do that again. Another time they came out very promptly during bad weather to caulk and repair a leak in various windows. One other problem I have had is that the salesperson convinced me to use a double hung where I had a slider. It has made it difficult to get in and out. However, the work crews were clean and professional. They install a great product, always do a great job. They are on time and I would use them again.

I WAS REALLY HAPPY, AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WHICH MEANS A LOT. SOME PEOPLE ARE SO MESSY. ALSO THE WORKERS ARE PROFESSIONAL WHICH MEANS A LOT AS WELL.
