Choose KBKoncept! Augustin is honest, timely, professional and very knowledgeable. We received 4 bids from 4 different contractors initially and Augustin asked the most questions, was curious and gave us a fair bid. He came in a bit higher than the other initial bids but when we went back and asked a few additional questions, the others stated work was not included in the bid that Augustin did include. I appreciate that he kept our project on time, but did not overwhelm us and gave us "to dos" one at a time. He is very communicative and gave us great insight on products for our kitchen & bath (quality vs cost vs where to find it the quickest). We would absolutely recommend him and feel so lucky and thankful that we had such a flawless remodel experience! His crew is also very professional, kind and helpful!

KB Koncept is the best building contractor I have ever worked with. Augustin, the owner runs a highly professional business with a very competent team. His main guys, Paul and Robert were respectful, accommodating and great to have in my home for over a month- not an easy task with a busy family and dogs! While I did get 2 other competitive bids from other reputable contractors, I knew right away that Augustin was the one! He took the most time to thoroughly walk through each bathroom and understand what we needed. His proposal was the most detailed and specific. A real plus is that they are not just amazing at the technical/mechanical aspect but the aesthetic as well. I was so impressed that when installing the marble tiles for the guest shower, Paul hand selected each tile according to my vision and color palette. I was hoping for marble with more golden hues. If he could not find them out of my purchased batches, he would let me know and we would exchange it for the best match. It would certainly been easier for him to just put up what I had purchased and not hesitate, but it is what separates KB Koncept from others- they are a class act. Also, while my design background gave me an edge in the styling, Augustin was able to assist in making final design decisions- he knows the trends and also can guide in budgetary issues- sometimes a vision may not be worth the expense. We wanted to add a walk in closet to our master bath area but he showed us the result would be insignificant as our space was challenging. However, he came up with another design option- a fabulous storage cabinet that in the end saved us money and looks beautiful. The best part is that KB Koncept stayed on their schedule and promised a Christmas deadline EVEN when they ran into a few surprises with our ancient plumbing system of our 50 year old home. Augustin was great in the communication process throughout the job letting us know the schedule and the process. If he could, we would hire him to build us a whole house!

We chose KBKoncept for our kitchen renovation after reading all the wonderful reviews on Angie's List and now know why Augustin and his crew are rated so highly. They were talented, detailed, fairly priced, honest and genuinely nice people. I know I am detailed and hard to please but they met and often exceeded my expectations. They were willing to adjust plans, make and take suggestions and work with us to transform a poorly functioning 1970's kitchen into a beautiful and functional living space all the while doing their best to make living through the construction bearable. We continue to receive compliments about our new kitchen and look forward to working with them on future projects. They are a young 5 Star company!

Work was done for my Mom and Dad. This review was written by them: I highly recommend KBKONCEPT for any of your remodeling needs. Augustine is awesome. We purchased a condo in Laguna Woods that needed many upgrades as it was built in the early 1970s. We interviewed several contractors, but what impressed us most in making our decision was that Augustine knew what approvals were needed from the Homeowners Association and the town. He also told us up front what would be needed where another contractor told us ?don?t worry about it?. We signed our contract and went back to AZ to sell our home and get things ready for the move. I was a bit apprehensive at not being ?on site? while the remodel was being done. No problem! Augustine was in contact with us throughout the process by email (with pictures), texting, and phone. He made suggestions and made sure what he was doing was what we wanted. All work was completed by the promised date with no surprises. Augustine is very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and just a downright good guy. We have a beautiful home ? new cabinets, countertops, lighting, ceiling fans, laminate and tile flooring, walk-in shower, plumbing, paint throughout, etc, etc, etc. After work was completed, we had a couple of issues that were NOT a problem caused by Augustine, but he came over to help resolve the problem. My mother purchased a home in Laguna Woods and the bath and kitchen were original from the 1960s. After interviewing several contractors, we selected Augustin at KBKoncept. Augustin's bid was not only reasonable, but he made good suggestions, listened and was very patient with my Mom who is in her 80s. He did a full kitchen remodel and partial bathroom remodel, demolition, flooring, granite counters, moulding, cabinets, and partially painted, all in about 7 days! Remarkable. He even came back a few times to install appliances that were delivered later, and installed shower head that my Mother could not install herself. He was very generous with his time, polite, detailed, and neat. He and his crew were showed up on time. When he had a scheduling conflict, he let us know and followed up with another time - then showed up. This is a remarkable and rare trait! Mom is very happy with her new place and loves Augustin! Thank you - we will use you again and recommend to anyone who asks.

Clean, professional, and one client at a time. 3 simple basics that seems impossible to find in the contracting world unless you pay top dollars. I have been burned so many times to realize that you get what you pay for and paying more doesn?t mean you will always get better results. When times are good everyone is a contractor and charging market rate. It is always a leap of faith without seeing the work yourself. If you had any past remodeling experiences, you can surely relate. All I can say is KBKoncpet has worked out for me and they have my full recommendation. They actually care about their work and reputation, most of all respecting your home. Good ethics and great workmanship, never cut corners and do things right the first time. They are the standards that all contractors should be.

We met and got quotes from about 6 or 7 contractors before beginning our first remodeling job. Augustin's quotes were very reasonable, and we felt he would be easy to work with (honest and pleasant). We were very glad we chose him. He is a very nice guy, and carefully supervises the work that is done. The workers have also been pleasant and professional. They always showed up when they were supposed to, and the jobs were always completed on time. We were very pleased with how our first renovation went (laminate installation, and a guest bathroom renovation), so we called them back for another job a year later (master bath renovation). Again, it went very well. We have found Augustin to be super helpful when we have had sudden problems too (like a slab leak), and he was able to respond quickly. I have recommended his company to my neighbors and in-laws. They were all pleased and have used his company again when they had additional work.

Let me begin by saying I've had major remodels on two of my previous residences so I knew what I was in for. Well Augustin and his crew changed my mind. They were professional and competent. It was estimated the job would take two weeks and it was completed within two and half weeks not bad. Augustin is very ordered and asked me to have all the materials before the start date. Of course that made sense His crew goes out of their way to ensure that they minimize chaos during the project. Couldn't ask for more I'm very pleased with the final product. I felt his crew made certain the the job was done well. It was clear they all took pride in their work. Augustin was on site most days. He doesn't just oversee he actually participates in the project Let's face it remodeling is stressful but these guys do their absolute best to minimize the process

I had used them for two other projects in the past and have been happy with their service. Augustin and his crew is reliable, dependable and professional. They are also quiet and hardworking. They also showed up when they said they would. You will not be disappointed.

Augustin the owner of the company explained in details the work he was planning to do. Because he was such a highly professional, I did not have to supervise him. He did not cut corners and finish each task to the best. To this date I get compliments for cabinets and counter tops work that he built. He did not miss his deadlines, or overlooked any details. His helpers were professionals and knowledgeable. With limited space and hard to reach plumbing and electrical connection sources, they built a modern, functional and nice looking kitchen and bathrooms. I was very satisfied with his performance and will use him for this line of work in future.

Working with Augustin is as easy as 123... You call him for free estimates, and explain what you are looking to get done. He works with you to understand your needs and provide solutions from his expertise and experience. In most cases you end up with better than you had originally planned and if you are not flexible you go with your solution. He works with you regardless of what you choose, I.e. His ideas or your own to deliver to your satisfaction.

Everything was fantastic. It was a big project and we used him for the last three months. I was at a friend's house and I noticed her floor and asked whom she used and she gave them stellar reviews so I contacted him and we used him. Everything was just more than you think about contractors doing. He was honest, punctual and did what he said he was going to do. He didn't even want any money ahead of time. He did great planning about what would be needed in the future. He was very patient working around another person that was doing work. There wasn't anything that wasn't excellent. He helped us do the shopping. We will exclusively use him and recommend him to anybody else.
