I wholeheartedly recommend KBKoncept if you’re looking to get your bathrooms remodelled. Augustin is a pleasure to work with, he is super responsive via text, email etc and had lots of constructive practical suggestions throughout the duration of the project. The work is first class, from cabinets, countertops, plumbing, painting and particularly tile work so a big shout out to Paul who is a master of his art. The project took exactly the amount of time Augustin estimated. His team and subcontractors were very friendly and super tidy after each days work. What I liked the most is that Augustin, the business owner, was present throughout the entire process. Would not hesitate to recommend KBKoncept for any remodelling work you are looking to get done. After interviewing a handful of general contractors and securing estimates from three of them, we selected KBKONCEPT Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling, Inc. to perform a down-to-the-studs renovation of our upstairs hall bath. From the beginning, KBKONCEPT’s owner, Augustin Rusu, impressed us with a well-detailed work plan and matching estimate. His approach was flexible and allowed us to pick fixtures and finishes to suit our tastes. Augustin and each of his subcontractors performed their work efficiently and with a high degree of professionalism every step of the way during the project. The level of craftsmanship, particularly tilework, was remarkable throughout each stage of the project. Now that the job is finished, we are really pleased with how great the finished work looks and enjoy showing it off to visitors. We plan on using KBKONCEPT again and have recommended them without reservation to friends and family. 5 Star Work!

We were introduced to Augustin by our realtor and were immediately impressed by his ability to assess the scope of what needed to be done and potential problems and steer us in the right direction. He was very professional, honest, communicated well and the quality of his work was superb. Worked with us on our budget and was able to deliver everything we wanted, this included a new kitchen, bathroom, stairs, tiling, painting, hanging TVs . My bathroom remodel by KBKoncept not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Any type of construction can be challenging in Laguna Woods Village, but with the pandemic issues, it was even worse. At all times, Augustin remained calm, collected and encouraging, while those around him (i.e. me) were losing their cool. He listened to my ideas, gently led me back on track when I strayed a bit (this was my first remodel with a contractor, and was new to some of the nuances). He has followed up with me over the past weeks, continuing his excellent customer service. The finished product is totally gorgeous, and receives rave reviews by all who see it. I have no doubt that I wouldn't be as happy if I had gone any other direction as to using a different contractor. I am very pleased to recommend our contractor Augustin Russu of KB Koncept. We did a total renovation of our home, down to the studs, including rearranging the walls, adding new bathrooms, new doors, ceilings with recessed lighting, new kitchen, as well as intricate tile installation. Everything was done to perfection. This project could have been much more stressful, had it not been for Augustin. He was a pleasure to work with, and guided us every step of the way. His honesty, work ethic, patience, professional attitude, and exceptional skills, created a beautiful result. Excellent work. Every detail, from the plans, permits and demolition to the final coat of paint was completed on time. He created a custom built pantry, saving 60% from the cost of a factory pantry. His workers were never late. Also, he responds to phone calls/texts with 15 minutes. Augustin is very easy to work with. He will accommodate changes during the project. With the extra material from the kitchen countertop, he was able to do a matching counter for the guest bathroom. I will use Augustin again without any hesitation.

I am so pleased with the remodel of my master bathroom and everything went very well and on schedule. KBKoncept was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. But to help me keep my cost down, I asked Augustin if I could have my handyman friend do some of the easy work, like installing the vanity, medicine cabinet, and light fixtures. He quickly rewrote the quote, and I hired him because I was impressed with his willingness to work with me and his easy-going manner. Augustin and his 2 workers were always on time, showed up as planned, were good at their individual jobs, were respectful and neat, and put in some very long hours. First they built a plastic sheet "bubble" barrier in front of my bathroom in order to keep the dust from entering into the rest of my house. Thick cardboard-like paper was taped down on the pathway to the door outside where they were coming and going. They swept up every night and neatly put away their tools. The tile work (by Paul) seemed to go a little slowly to me at first, but it came out so beautifully, I didn't mind. Perfection takes time. His grout lines were thin and straight and the tiles were set down perfectly on the floor and in the entire shower area. The drywall work was done well (by Robert), and his orange-peel texture coating on the ceiling and walls looked so good I wish I had him do all the ceilings in my house. Augustin did all the electrical and plumbing very nicely, and he also ran the job. I liked that he was here practically every day to check on the job. I also liked how patient he was about all my concerns. Since I had a bad experience with a former contractor less than a year ago, I warned him I would probably question everything. What a nice man he was to take it all in stride. All in all, I had a great non-stressful experience, especially after the nightmare job I received from Radstone Remodeling in October of 2016. I plan to hire KBKoncept again, hopefully this year to do my kitchen remodel.

I had heard nothing but horror stories from friends who had worked with contractors, but I have to say, Augustin and his crew at KBKoncept were a simple pleasure. They were polite, hardworking and skilled. I had never done such a large scale remodel and Augustin was patient and helpful. I kept throwing extra stuff at him as the project went on and even with all the extra stuff, our house was completed pretty much when he promised. When does that ever happen! Augustin did his best to find the lowest costs in the material and even beat the bids I had gotten directly from windows which I thought I would be able to do cheaper without going through Augustin. The neighbors were impressed at how hard working they were. (Something I couldn't tell since I wasn't there). For an inexperienced remodeler like me, it was very reassuring that I could text Augustin any day of the week, pretty much any time and I was able to get replies very quickly. He listened to what I wanted and found a way to make it happen or was straight with me on practicality. He gave me suggestions and made it easier for me to work on my personal projects there. After the first couple of weeks working with him, I trusted him to do the best for me. I consider myself very fortunate that my first remodel experience was perfect - I am now spoiled. On top of it all, even 3 weeks after the job was complete and final payment made, Augustin was as responsive as ever to my questions and didn't hesitate to stop by to check on stuff for me. Excellent customer service!

Augustine handled everything from obtaining permits, managing the asbestos abatement, inspections, demo, plumbing, electric, tile work, etc. The whole team is professional, respectful, polite, kind and most importantly skilled workers with strong work ethics and attention to detail. Augustin was very patient when I changed my mind (many times). He made great recommendations and worked with me to get the outcome I wanted. The guys showed up on time, cleaned up at night and always let me know the plan for the next day. All work was done on time and in budget. My house is beautiful and it is because of Augustin and his guys.

Augustin and his team are professional, timely, and listened to what we wanted. He explained each of steps very clearly. We really appreciated his ability to take what we wanted to do with our kitchen and show us ways to make the design work better. The end result is a beautiful, functional kitchen, that we love. From start to finish we were impressed with the teams work ethic and attention to detail. We had to add in a whole house re-pipe (which stopped his work for about a week and added additional drywall repairs) near the beginning of the project and they still finished on-time and within budget. The work was completed well and the inspections were easy and quick. Augustin worked hard to make the remodel as comfortable as possible for us and the process was much easier than expected. The whole team is very easy to talk to and answered all of our questions or concerns with detailed explanations. Augustin answered our calls and promptly retuned text messages. He was extremely patient with our indecisions and would make wonderful recommendations. We truly enjoyed having Augustin and his team in our home and will have them back soon for our bathroom remodels.

We are extremely happy with KB concepts and the entire experience we had with our renovations. They are honest, pleasant and cooperative. The whole group of workers are meticulous with their work, making sure it is done right and take care to protect the area surrounding the renovations. Fantastic!!! Augustine is a great contractor! Due to our kitchen size, not everything we wanted to do was feasible. However, Augustine offered valuable suggestions and really worked with us to give us a kitchen we envisioned. His employees were friendly, respectful, on time, very knowledgable, and cleaned up everyday. We are very happy with this company and plan to hire them again when we remodel this bathrooms. KBKoncept is a top notch company!!!

Extremely well. Augustin and his crew proved to be capable, experienced, neat, courteous, helpful, and energetic. We are very happy with the result and the process that produced it. There were only minor problems that were solved with brief discussions. Augustin had helpful suggestions about customer-preference decisions. He generously helped us with several small tasks that were not strictly within the contracted scope of work. He kept us informed about what was to happen the next day or two. This renovation went surprising well. Augustine said 8 weeks and it was 8 weeks! The crew is reliable and professional. The tile I chose for the showers were splashes of grey on white tile. It was done beautifully! Paul is a master. I was overcome by the look and he was so nice and pleased that I was pleased. Robert is a wonderful all-around worker - electric, water, soundproofing a wall. I have to say that the price was not an object because KBKoncept remodeled our kitchen and we would not have any other company except KBKoncept do the bathroom renovations/remodel. Everything went smoothly and I trusted them that I left a key in a lock box for them to work in case I wasn't home. Augustin took care of all the permits and he was also within text-range. I cannot say more. This review was submitted a few months ago when the job was completed (March 2018) but for some reason it wasn't posted. We thought this job would be a little tricky but Augustin and his crew handled it like the pros they are. This is a smaller home with Jack and Jill-type bathrooms. The job also included making a laundry space, storage areas and redirecting the entrance to the master, creating an en suite and installing all new doors. The homes in Laguna Woods Village are "cozy" but they did a fantastic job connecting each tile so it flowed into the "marble" design we wanted. Augustin suggested a metal trim for the trim giving it a European look. We love it! The new plumbing and electrical were done flawlessly. Augustin and his crew are respectful, dedicated and professional. They respected our home, covering doorways and rooms, and they were happy to show us what they accomplished at the end of the day. Robert is very friendly, polite and does a wonderful job. The work went well and was on schedule for the most part. A minor change was made so that increased the time by only a day or so. It wasn't a big problem. Everything arrived and was installed properly, on schedule. We knew we could rely on KBKoncept after they completed our kitchen remodel in 2016. We highly recommend this company. I gave them permission to use a lock-box to come in when no one was home. That is how much I trust them. I must add: QUALITY is what you'll get from KBKoncept. Perhaps, you can get a cheaper price from another contractor but you cannot find this level of workmanship and professionalism. Your home will be as clean as when they began working. Their commitment to detail and QUALITY is unsurpassed.

Choose KBKoncept! Augustin is honest, timely, professional and very knowledgeable. We received 4 bids from 4 different contractors initially and Augustin asked the most questions, was curious and gave us a fair bid. He came in a bit higher than the other initial bids but when we went back and asked a few additional questions, the others stated work was not included in the bid that Augustin did include. I appreciate that he kept our project on time, but did not overwhelm us and gave us "to dos" one at a time. He is very communicative and gave us great insight on products for our kitchen & bath (quality vs cost vs where to find it the quickest). We would absolutely recommend him and feel so lucky and thankful that we had such a flawless remodel experience! His crew is also very professional, kind and helpful!
