The job was done well and within the time constraints originally established. I like the 1 year warranty on their work.

Robert arrived when he said he would and quickly set up shop. In less than 2 hours he was finished finishing a seam on the ceiling. Once painted even I couldn't tell where the repair had been done. Made my day!

They came, gave me a quote....I didn't have them do the work because of their prices.

I used Hanyman Unlimited for three jobs. I was happy with the wok until they did the apoxy floor in the garage. The installer got apoxy all over my driveway and my new powder coated gate from his shoes and hands. I didn't discover this until I wet the driveway with water. I sent Tom the owner pictures of the spots on my driveway and gate. Instead of Tom(the contractor) taking care of this with the flooring guy, he had the flooring guy call me. This is not the way it's done. Tom didn't show any concern would not come out to inspect the work. He had his money. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Every time my driveway gets wet, the stains show up. So I'm reminded of the horrible job they did and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They were efficient. They were right on. They've completed the job, then they left. They did everything. I have no complaints. They were here on time. They did what they were hired for. I thought the rate was wonderful. I did not complain about the rate. They're good. I've recommended them.

I was in the process of switching out the sprinkler valves in my house from anti-siphon type to an in-line type because they are easier to repair replace. The only bit I knew I would need a pro to help would be with the installation of a double-check valve to prevent any backflow into water supply. I called Handyman Unlimited and they were nice enough on the phone. No complaints there. They were able to get Juan to come out later that week. When he arrived, I explained to him what I was doing and what I wanted to be done. I was very specific. he nodded and was all "oh yeah, sure sure no problem. It'll be $450". Sounded ok so I scheduled the job. On the day of the actual work, he was well over 45 minutes late. No call. I called to office to see if I had my dates mixed up. He was on his way but I guess he got caught up in traffic or something. At any rate, he finally shows up. Starts working, removes the old plumbing, begins installing the new parts. So far so good. Then as he goes to install a vacuum-break (NOT what I wanted) it was broken and had to go back to the "special supplier" to get a replacement. Honestly its the same type they sell at Home Depot. When he finally returns with a working part and proceeds to finish. He then installs the same type of anti-siphon valves that I was trying to get rid of in the 1st place in the front yard. They were crooked at that, but as it was now late (after dark) and the water to the garden had been shut off for days due to breaking valves, I just wanted him to finish so I could water my garden before it all died. When He was done I got "well the parts were more expensive than I thought" Grrr.... When I called back to the office the next day to explain that I was NOT satisfied with what Juan had installed plus the fact that it didn't appear to be to code (believe me I did A LOT of research before starting this ordeal). I explained to them my reason for wanting they type of back-flow preventer I did because I didn't want a big pipe rising up in front of my house (unfortunately that's where the water main is located- just to the side of the garage door). She had a different person come out and take a look what what had been done. He agreed with me that it wasn't exactly to code (needed to be another foot higher) but that it should be fine anyway. Real reassuring- NOT. In the end I replaced the valves myself to the ones I wanted all along and planted some shrubs in front of the plumbing they did. Been hitting them with extra fertilizer so they can cover it up quickly and I won't be reminded of the whole ordeal every time I come home. Handyman Unlimited may be useful for somethings, but plumbing I think not. So far this has been my only negative experience with someone from Angie's List.

I've used Handyman Unlimited twice and I am going to use them again soon. They do very good work and that's why I keep calling them back. They did it quickly, cost was fair. Everything was excellent.

We bought an 80-year-old house in Claremont, which needed quite a bit of work. Tom has helped us do a variety of work well, for a fair price. We compared to others but found that the Handyman Unlimited price was reasonable compared to other reputable companies (as opposed to the less reliable cheapest bidder, who could not show good results). We added LED lights in the ceilings, replaced the old knob and tube wiring, painted and spruced up all over, and will work with HU again as we gradually further improve our beautiful home.

It went great. My brother started to install sheeting on the walls around the bathtub but didn't finish. It wasn't looking very good so I called Handyman Unlimited to take down what my brother put up and install a new surround. Rick from Handyman Unlimited suggested I get a different type of surround from what we tried to put up before. It was more expensive but much better quality. I found the surround I wanted and let the office know what I had chosen to see if they agreed it would work. Roxy in the office did not get back to me so I called her after a while. I purchased the surround and Rick came out to install it. He was able to remove the old sheeting without damaging the plaster walls. The tub looks great.

Repair work was done outdoors weeks after a bid was given. Was not completed. Laundry room work was done at least a month after bid, after repeated efforts to nail them down on a return date. Construction materials were left in the driveway near the street instead of hauled away. never returned to finish putting covers on the canned lighting. Gentleman who did the indoor work was very polite and considerate though.

They did a good job and their demeanor was fine.

This gentleman was so great, very nice, and efficient. I would hire him again without question. He came to my home and fixed several odd and end things that needed some repair. I know he replaced a wooden window frame in my garage that had termite damage before the extermination of them and he fixed a cabinet door in my garage. He also repaired a refrigerator that we had a few issues with. He was just wonderful.

I have never used anyone like this before, and the thing I can say is I don't know why I haven't! It was one of the best jobs I've seen done in a long time! The company called me to make sure I remembered our appointment. The Tech. showed up when they said they be here. The Tech. did above and beyond what I would say cold have been done. I never thought I would do something like this in my life, but I glad I did, and will make sure I call them again when I need something else done. Outstanding Job, and believe me when I say I shopped around. Couldn't be happier.

excellent, I can't say enough great things about Robert and Roxie from Handyman unlimited...they were both very professional, and a joy to deal with...will be having Robert back ASAP for more work that I need since the initial work was finished!! he was very personable, and above and beyond knowledgeable and helpful!! The entire experience from start to finish exceeded any expectation I may have had...I have already recommended this company to everyone I know and/or meet!!

I called and they were able to come give an estimate the same day, 2 days later the job was done. They showed up on time and kept the kitchen as clean as could be expected (put up plastic and had a vacuum cleaner running), considering the amount of dust created when cutting a counter top

They were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. I had problem with birds and minors other issues. With the birds, the handyman placed a metal screen in the corner, just below the roof of the house (high, very high house), the birds were nesting and damaging the wall, and the insulation. The other repairs consistent in placing another screen at the bottom of the patio gate door, my little dog was getting out of the house through that gap! The handy man did other two things related to nails in specific places were a drill was needed. The job was excellent quality, he knew what and how to do. The price included materials. The down side is that it is pay by hour, and a knowledgeable person like this could have done it in 2/3 of the time or less than what he used, but ?it is by hour and we all know what is their deal. I found it expensive, but if I need something specific that I can not do, I would definitely will go back to them, because of the quality and professionalism they had. Sometimes is better off to pay extra and be certain than look for cheaper and pray.

Handyman Unlimited are wonderful. I got them off Angie's list and I called them and the guy came out and he gave me an estimate, the estimate that I had had before was about USD 800 but I gave him a coupon of USD 200 and something that was way out of date but he accepted it. He then showed up right on time and he had a blower and he was very careful that none of it fell onto the patio and just fell on the outside yard. He was very efficient. I would definitely use them again and they sent me a thank you note after the job was done. They do everything and if you hire them, you do not need to look for plumbers or electricians.

Very quickly done: one person, Rick, did it in two days.

Juan arrived a few minutes early at my house, and was very professional. He took a quick look at the repairs that i needed around my house and gave me a quick estimate of how much time and costs these repairs and installation would take. He was done on time and did a very good job repairing all the items.

Over the course of about a month, the great guys from Handyman Unlimited came out and did a ton of work: rebraced our garage roof, reframed and sealed a huge picture window (replacing it alone would have cost ~$2000), did small plumbing work, tore off a not-to-code add-on (and sealed it up with drywall, then stuccoed the outside and finished the inside), and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. Tom (the owner) was great at communicating with us, listening to our concerns and addressing them; everyone on the crew was great, including Robert, who was out more than anyone.

It went very well. they were able to complete the job in 2 half days. Robert is the person who did the estimate and completed the job. He was very professional. He was punctual and did a good job and did a good of prepping before the job and clean-up after the job. I was very satisfied and will use this company again.
