Description of Work: $159 for 2 hours of interior design or color consultation! That turned out great and they did this a few years ago. I was able to get a consultation for both interior design and color.

Description of Work: I recently bought a new house and had way too many decisions to make as to how to decorate it. I have many disparate decorative pieces ranging from travel mementos to inherited items to strange and wonderful gifts. My new house has two rooms with built in shelves which provide lots of space for decorations but are challenging in that many of the shelves are narrow and/or low in height. To complicate matters, I did not want to purchase anything new but wanted my house to be attractive and contemporary. Evanne was able to take “my treasures” and arrange them in an appealing manner with a look that says up-to-date, instead of old. A friend had given me a gift certificate to Pottery Barn and I wandered around there for an hour trying to figure out what to buy as a centerpiece for my table. I finally gave up but Evanne offered to come with me and within minutes found just the right look that I could combine with things I already had to make a striking piece on my table. She also rearranged my furniture and rugs to look like they were made for my new house, sorted through my art work to determine the best place to hang the various pieces and consulted with me on paint colors. What I appreciated the most about Evanne’s services is that she did not try to impose her own tastes on me but gently guided me to find a way to use my pieces in a new way. I never felt judged for wanting to use my old stuff to decorate. Her ability to take something that I might think is for the living room , use it in the guest bathroom and make it eye-catching is truly amazing. If you are lucky enough to have Evanne assist you in your decorating needs, you will be thrilled with the results.

Description of Work: Ev provided guidance, design, wonderful ideas and hand holding through the process. She's great and really knows her business and then some. My remodel transformed my home and Ev had the vision to make it happen. We're in the finishing touches stage right now but the bulk of the job is complete and we are completely happy with our results.

Description of Work: Consultation. We are redoing our living room and bedroom and needed design consultation. Evanne knew we were working on a tight budget and gave us some great ideas for rearranging furniture to keep us from having to buying all new items. She listened to our likes, dislikes, and offered some really good suggestions for redecorating. She brought books and brochures of possible items that might work for us and it was obvious she had heard us concerning what we wanted and needed.

Description of Work: She has done many redesigns for me, at a very cost effective price. She also has taken classes in "Green alternatives" and can use that knowledge with her clients.
