First off, I loved that she really wanted to know 'ME' before she shared any suggestions... and they were all spot on! Next year it'll be time for a redo and I will definitely put her on it!

ELG's proprietor, Ev, quickly grasped my tastes and, despite my unfamiliarity with styles and interior design terms, presented proposals that I liked. With her assistance, I then winnowed the selections and made my choices about which I am very pleased.

She is fabulous. Very thorough and she gave me references and where to go to get everything. She charged me 600.00 for 2 consultations.

Ev is a personable, thoughtful, and enjoyable individual, who understands a personal sense of style and forward thinking. I appreciated working with her and saddened to have to abandon my project due to unforeseen circumstances I will most certainly call her again when I am ready to continue my remodeling project. Ev's intuition and keen observation goes a long way in seeing through my eyes as to what I want to live with rather than what she might want if it were her house. I also like the fact that she is well-connected to many artesians.

Ev is a supremely professional and talented individual who really worked well to translate our 50,000 foot concepts into real world choices. She listened carefully and creatively crafted recommendations to assist in advancing our project. Without her most able assistance, I seriously doubt that we would have made as much progress on refining our project as we have. I am sure that she has saved us several weeks of effort, immeasurable levels of stress and from making mistakes that we would regret sooner rather than later. We will continue to tap into her expertise and design creativity as we progress through this undertaking.

Ev was great! I contacted her to get some feedback about overall color choices for my house (paint) and also get her thoughts on our livingroom, and flooring choices. We couldn't get it all done in one visit however she was flexible and available to complete the process just a few days later. I really appreciate her candor and her eye for design. I may call her again soon as we move onto other projects - thanks Ev!

I contacted Ev because she had such amazing reviews on Angie's list. I liked her very much over the phone and had intended on working with her. However, in the meantime my re finisher recommended one of his contacts and I decided to use his referral instead based on the fact that he came highly recommended.

It was a pleasant surprise to work with EV. I liked her presentation and idea's . She was easy to talk with, I had concerns at first about wether she would be to glitter for me and I am more traditional ...but she gave me the confidence she could put the depth in the design....it was a pleasure

Ev was very receptive over the phone when I made the appointment and extremely well-prepared when she arrived at my home. In addition to bringing some research that she had already done online, based on our phone call, she was curious and thorough as I walked her through the house. Ev was able to get to the heart of the design and layout questions by being a keen observer and a good listener. She had immediate solutions and action items as well as good ideas on resources for things that required more thought. In the end, both Ev and I agreed that there was a certain amount of this that I could do on my own, now that Ev had helped me see the space more clearly and gotten the ideas flowing for solutions. If and when I am stuck again, or in need of help with a larger project, I will definitely call Ev!

Ev was so quick to respond to my question and to give me a couple of names of people she knew who could help me and she didn't even benefit. She just did it to be helpful to me! When I need someone to come to my home and do just the design work I will be calling Ev.

Ev is a wonderful and talented designer who has an uncanny ability to coordinate colors and furniture placement. She has assisted with every aspect of decorating our house by using our existing furniture as well as newly purchased items to really make our house quite beautiful. She is easy to work with and someone a client can also learn quite a lot from. She was always on time and anxious to accommodate my schedule. I would give her the highest possible recommendation for anyone interested in redorating their house from a very small effort like repainting or re-arranging existing furniture to a major entire house redecorate. Although I didn't requre her services in the area of bathroom and kitched design, I have seen some of the projects she has completed and they were awesome. Ev is very professional and will respect your budget and vision. I totally enjoyed working with her and plan to use her again as we move to the next phase of completing our house.

Ev arrived with 6 large boxes containing paint samples and various types and colors of tile to help in the discussion. We were very happy with the whole process and found Ev to be a good listener and full good ideas for us to consider. She was fully prepared for the meeting. She answered all our questions, understood the vision of what we wanted and provided sufficient options. We selected several paint colors to test on walls. Ev even contacted us a few days later to let us know that she had continued to assess the colors (on her own time) to determine if they were still good candidates in different lighting conditions - natural light in the morning and afternoon, and also in the evening with electric lighting. We enjoyed working with Ev and plan to use her in the next areas of our remodel.

Ev was great to meet with regarding my kitchen remodeling project. I hired her for a 1 hour consultation and we discussed a number of topics including kitchen layout considerations, flooring, counter-tops, and different options for back-splashes. She even stayed longer than the 1 hour to give me a few tips on how to approach updating the wet bar area! I also appreciated the fact that she was able to accommodate setting up an appointment to meet with me on short notice (i.e. less than 48 hours). I would highly recommend her in planning for your next remodel project.

Ev was a pleasure with whom to work. She had terrific ideas and seemed to immediately and intuitively grasp what we inarticulately were trying to convey regarding our thoughts about reupholstering our furniture. She was responsive and professional in every respect. We ended up following her recommendations about the upholstery company (Ayala Family Upholstery) and had them reupholster our sofa, love seat, chair, dining room chairs and two bench cushions. We loved the results!

I contacted Ev, the owner of elg design, regarding the coupon for the 2 hour professional interior design paint color consultation for $185. When we spoke, she let me know that I was able to use this purchase for a 2 hour design consultation instead, which is what I needed. The purpose of her visit was to give me her professional opinion regarding a potential remodel on our existing house or perhaps to sell and buy what would best fit our needs. She looked at contractor plans and evaluated the space we had to work with and what was proposed. We discussed family room and kitchen options, master bedroom and bathroom configurations, pathways that did and didn't make sense-- things a designer would notice! We spent quite a bit of time talking about backyard space that would be left with the remodel, and she gave us a few referrals should we decide to sell our house. Ev was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. She is very responsive via email or phone. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing this type of service! When we make our decision and are farther along in the process, I would love to have her help again with more design and decorating help-- the fun stuff!

Ev was very prompt in setting up the appointment. She came to our home and brought paint samples. We are planning to sell our home within the next year. She helped us select paint colors with the goal of brightening our home and making it more appealing to prospective buyers. She understood our need to keep costs down and only do what will bring us the most benefit. Besides the paint selections, she also provided valuable suggestions about other changes that we plan to make. We consider her a great resource and will probably use her services in the future.

Ev is extremely responsive and thorough. She prepared well for the meeting by doing extensive work after I provided her with photos of the current interior and exterior of the house and a general thought on what I was trying to accomplish. She's easy to work with and to reach; which is very important.

She had good ideas and we picked out some fabric. We are waiting for the tables and chairs to arrive.

Ev had great ideas for the design of my bedroom. Since this was a consultation Ev helped my reign in my ideas and design a perfect bedroom. I was impressed with her professionalism and would use her again on our next project.

Ev is exceptionally prompt, both with email and in person and I really appreciate that. Even if she does not have an answer for you right away, she gets back to you ASAP and lets you know when you can expect one. Ev takes her work very seriously. She spent hours selecting colors for our office (we asked her to create something vibrant) and it looks great. She was great working with us around the buildings schedule, which seemed to change on a daily basis. I highly recommend her.

I combined 2 coupons, one for paint color and the second for design consultation. Ev arrived on time armed with books and color samples. We had a lengthy, detailed conversation. I will continue working with Ev to select new furniture, carpeting, etc. Ev is very knowledgeable and a very pleasant person to work with.

Ev is a very professional and savvy designer. She is extremely thorough which made our time with her very productive. For example, she had us send her pictures of the space prior to our meeting along with photos of what we like. This allowed us to get right down to the details when she arrived at our home. She had several good ideas for our kitchen remodel (things we would have never throught of otherwise) that we implemented and are really glad we did. We would highly recommend elg design and would most definitely employ this firm in the future.
